Abstract

Abstrak Karies gigi merupakan salah satu penyakit mulut yang ditandai dengan demeneralisasi jaringan gigi yang bersifat kronis keras kemudian diikuti dengan kerusakan zat organiknya yang menyebabkan hancurnya email dan dentin sehingga muncul lubang pada gigi. Karies gigi merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang sering dialami atau terjadi pada anak anak. (Soesilawati, 2020). Faktor yang menunjang tingginya angka prevalensi karies gigi anak yaitu anak anak pada umumnya menyukai makanan manis, apabila anak terlalu banyak makan gula-gula dan jarang membersihkannya maka akan menimbulkan akibat yakni gigi - giginya akan banyak yang mengalami karies gigi. Hal ini akan menjadi lebih parah. pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak yang mengalami karies gigi, diperoleh data yaitu anak memiliki karies dentis (67%), sebagian besar anak mempunyai kebiasaan jajanan terbuka di sekolah (87%), dan masih ada anak yang tidak memeriksa kesehatan gigi ke pelayanan kesehatan (34%). Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pemberdayaan masyarakat dan partisipasi masyarakat dengan pendekatan keperawatan keluarga melalui pengenalan masalah, memutuskan merawat, merawat, memodifikasi lingkungan dan memanfaatkan fasilitas kesehatan. Rencana pelaksanaan kegiatan dialokasika di RW I Kelurahan Lempuing Kota Bengkulu. Evaluasi kegiatan dan monitoring dilakukan secara formatif dan sumatif melalui instrument yang telah disiapkan. Abstract

Abstrak Kekerasan seksual terhadap anak meningkat dari tahun ketahun. Peningkatan ini terjadi dibanyak negara, termasuk juga di Indonesia. Dari banyak Propinsi di Indonesia, kekerasan seksual menjadi masalah yang mengkhawatirkan. Banyak anak yang menjadi korbannya, tidak hanya anak perempuan, anak laki- lakipun rawan untuk dijadikan korban kekerasan seksual (Meri Neherta, 2017). Berdasarkan hasil pemaparan dari guru TK IT Al-Pundi pada MMK 2 didapatkan hasil pada tahun 2019 terjadi pelecehan pada anak. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pemberdayaan masyarakat dan partisipasi masyarakat dengan pendekatan keperawatan keluarga melalui pengenalan masalah, memutuskan merawat, merawat, memodifikasi lingkungan dan memanfaatkan fasilitas kesehatan. Rencana pelaksanaan kegiatan dialokasika di RW I Kelurahan Lempuing Kota Bengkulu. Evaluasi kegiatan dan monitoring dilakukan secara formatif dan sumatif melalui instrument yang telah disiapkan. Kata Kunci: Anak, Pelecehan, Pendidikan Seks Abstract Sexual violence against children is increasing from year to year. This increase occurred in many countries, including Indonesia. From many provinces in Indonesia, sexual violence is a worrying problem. Many children are victims, not only girls, boys are also prone to be victims of sexual violence (Meri Neherta, 2017). Based on the results of the explanation from the Al-Pundi IT Kindergarten teacher at MMK 2, it was found that in 2019 child abuse occurred. This community service activity method uses community empowerment and community participation methods with a family nursing approach through identifying problems, deciding to care for, caring for, modifying the environment and utilizing health facilities. The plan for the implementation of the activities was allocated in RW I, Lemembu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. Abstract

Abstract The case of malaria that occurred again in the village of Kembang Ayun is still a scourge that was thwarted by Kab. Central Bengkulu was canceled as a complete malaria area. This is a potential that needs to be carried out by the Village Partner Development Service Program as a preventive effort in dealing with malaria transmission and to support local government programs to become complete malaria areas. Community service is carried out as a form of transfer of knowledge and technology regarding the benefits of citronella in fighting malaria. Abstract

Food Home Industry, hereinafter abbreviated as IRTP, is a food industry that has a place of business in a residence with manual to semi-automatic food processing equipment. Food Home Industry (IRTP) can produce the resulting processed food. IRTP Production Food is processed food produced by IRTP distributed in retail packaging and labeled. For product marketing, IRTP must have a Certificate of Home Industry Food Production (SPP-IRT). There are 20 IRTPs that do not yet have certificates. This certificate will be issued by the Health Service and obtained after the IRTP owner has received training on food safety. This community service activity will facilitate Food safety training. With this community service activity, all 20 participants of IRTP owners have a Household Industry Food Production Certificate (SPP-IRT). The results showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge before and after training.

Abstract

Danger signs in pregnancy are signs and symptoms encountered by pregnant women which are used as warning signs. Every woman needs to know and be aware of the signs and symptoms of danger in pregnancy, because complications are unpredictable. The purpose of counseling for this community is to increase the knowledge and insight of mothers regarding the signs of pregnancy through health education activities. The type of method used is to provide counseling about danger signs in pregnancy. The targets in this counseling activity were all pregnant women in Trimesters 1, 2 and 3. The participants involved were 15 people at the Tanjung Primary Clinic. This community service was carried out in December 2022. After being given material on danger signs of pregnancy, it was found that the number of pregnant women who had good knowledge was 14 people (93.3% and 1 person (6.7%) lacked knowledge. The conclusion from this community service was that A good effect was obtained from counseling on danger signs of pregnancy to pregnant women.

Abstract

Child mortality is a core indicator for child health and well-being. According to the world health organization the World Health Organization (WHO), globally, 2.4 million children died in the first month of life in 2019. There are approximately 7,000 newborn deaths every day, which account for 47% of all child deaths under the age of 5 years. Premature birth, intrapartum related complications (birth asphyxia or lack of breathing at birth), infections and birth defects account for the majority of neonatal deaths. this service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women on the Prevention of Neonatal Asphyxia in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area. This activity is distributing pre and post questionnaires, distributing leaflets and conducting socialization and finally evaluating activities.There is an increase in knowledge after the socialization where the average before the socialization is 30 increases to 75 after the socialization. From the activities that have been carried out, it is found that it is important for mothers to know the efforts to prevent asphyxia neonatorum from an early age for the birth of healthy babies and healthy mothers.

Abstract

Intrauterine Contraception Device (IUD) is a method of contraception that is quite safe and is the most recommended in the national family planning program in Indonesia. compared to other methods of contraception such as injections, pills and implants. IUDs can prevent pregnancy for up to 10 years with a failure rate of only about 1%. Presentation on IUD use at the Padang Serai Health Center 5.9% of this activity will be carried out at several Posyandu in Padang Serai Health Center from May 3 to May 23 2023. The target of this activity is Women of Reproductive Age (WUS), totaling 167 people. The method of this activity is to distribute leaflets to participants then conduct counseling and evaluate using a pre-post test questionnaire. The results of the activity revealed an increase in mother's knowledge. The average knowledge of mothers about IUD family planning before counseling was 48% and increased to 83% after counseling. The service team recommends using IUD KB by paying attention to the many advantages it has.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to empower the community's economy by providing socialization and training on processing corn into nuggets, so as to increase the income of the people in Glandang Village. This activity was carried out by providing training and assistance to the people of Glandang village in making corn nuggets. It is hoped that with this entrepreneurship program, people can take advantage of the potential of natural resources around them and improve their economic welfare. With the socialization of making corn nuggets, communication and relationships are created that are getting closer and can help villagers in processing corn in Glandang Village, Bantarbolang District, Pemalang Regency.

Abstract

Stunting is caused by low nutritional intake over a long period of time and/or frequently suffering from infectious diseases. The approach that can be taken is community empowerment. Efforts to implement DAHSAT to prevent stunting are carried out by increasing the knowledge of mothers of toddlers regarding toddler food intake by assisting the implementation of the DAHSAT kitchen for toddler families in Seluma Regency. The targets of this community service activity are BKKBN Partners, mothers of babies/toddlers, the Seluma Health Office. The implementation method uses the lecture method with presentation techniques for accompanying material on the application of the DAHSAT kitchen, followed by demonstrations and discussions, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Observations, while the problem of the ability to develop the knowledge of mothers of toddlers is resolved by providing training. This activity is packaged in the form of a workshop. There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of mothers of babies/toddlers in carrying out the practice of measuring weight and TB (anthropometry) in improving health and preventing stunting during toddler posyandu activities in Seluma Regency Village. BKKBN Seluma Regency, Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu, Kungkai Baru Village and Puskesmas Air Periukkan continue to collaborate with partners to improve the management of Healthy Kitchens so that they are more active and move towards accelerating stunting reduction as evidence of the pentahelix collaboration at the Air Periukkan regional level, Seluma Regency.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of growth and development, both physically, mentally, and activity so that the need for food containing nutrients becomes quite large. The increase in nutritional needs in adolescence is related to the growth spurt, where nutrients that enter the body are used to increase body weight and height accompanied by an increase in the number and size of body cell tissue. Adolescents are one of the largest components in Indonesia. Therefore, adolescents must be able to make achievements in all fields so that they become the next generation of a quality nation. Symptoms of anemia are fatigue, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, tingling, and feeling nauseous. Reduced amounts of hemoglobin in the blood in adolescents can have an impact on decreasing work productivity or reducing the ability to concentrate well so that it will reduce learning achievement. One of the causes of failure of studies in school is anemia. This situation arises because adolescents generally pay less attention to the quality of food. Most teenagers choose food based on taste considerations, not on nutritional considerations. Community service has been carried out on 36 female students at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu. On Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Mushollah SMA 1 Kota Bengkulu at 08.00 WIB. The media used are leaflets, powerpoints, laptops, and projectors. The result obtained is that the students can absorb well the information conveyed and are very enthusiastic about participating in this health counseling activity.
