Abstract

Diversity in diversity, but still one, has become the founding oath of the Indonesian nation so it must be avoided from cracks, let alone riots triggered by weak cultural acculturation. This study aims to describe the forms, processes, and communication strategies of immigrant communities who are culturally acculturated with indigenous people in Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. With a qualitative approach, this type of research is a document study on acculturation of multicultural cultures and a study of centralized interviews with informants from ethnic groups in Central Sulawesi Province, namely Javanese, Kaili, Touna, Toli-toli, and Bugis. For this reason, the source of data is in the form of text documents as evidence of published cultural acculturation, as well as information from the interview process. Simultaneously with data collection, content analysis was carried out on verbal data presented in a descriptive-qualitative manner. The results showed that the cultural acculturation of ethnic-ethnic multicultural communities in Central Sulawesi Province took the form of social gatherings (family gatherings, clan gatherings, and cultural arts performances) with a family communication process (multilingual, namely Indonesian and regional languages, as well as media) that utilized strategies cross-promotional communication (introduction, engagement, and marriage). Thus it can be concluded that acculturation of multicultural family culture in Central Sulawesi Province can be carried out by forming a new (multicultural) family. As a demographic implication, inter-ethnic differences still exist, but the formation of new cross-ethnic families can support the unity of multicultural society so that peace and harmony among citizens in Central Sulawesi is more humane

Abstract

This paper emphasizes the imperative for Indonesia to shift from passive good citizens to active citizens in order to confront the nation's multifaceted challenges. Active citizenship is pivotal for promoting good governance, combatting corruption, advancing social justice, and fortifying democracy. To realize this transition, collaboration between the government, civil society organizations, and educational institutions is crucial. Civic education is identified as a critical tool for nurturing active citizens, with schools playing a vital role in imparting knowledge about rights, responsibilities, critical thinking, civic participation, and social responsibility. The Pancasila learner profile and the active citizen framework are proposed as interconnected concepts that can shape students' character and behavior while endorsing social justice. However, this transformation faces complexities including political illiteracy, elite influence, and educational inadequacies. Resolving these challenges demands concerted efforts and resource allocation. The government's commitment to civic education, enhancement of educational quality, provision of a free and impartial media platform, and encouragement of active citizenship are deemed imperative for fostering an engaged and participatory citizenry that contributes positively to Indonesia's societal progress.

Abstract

The development of Indonesia's digital transformation has a high potential for success due to the Indonesian people themselves possessing great interest in adapting to use of digital innovations. In promoting the development of information technology, the government, authorized institutions, companies and all parties involved must be aware of the rapidity with which access is expanded, as well as the accessibility of infrastructure and experts, to prevent disparities in information technology development among regions. Digital transformation is often used to facilitate the process of delivering information and communication between many parties so that the progress of a business, activity or plan can run more quickly. However, there are certain forms of development that can create high-risk legal relationships which generate controversy. Research on these models needs to be further undertaken to avoid contingencies, and the results will be discussed in this scientific paper. The method used in this research is normative based legal research. The research concluded that agreements are carried out after digital transformation is influenced by the subjects involved and related. It is essential for them to agree on how their agreement is made and will be performed as well as its substance. Good faith remains the foundation of the parties' commitment to achieve what they have agreed to. Subjects who act as users must comply with the terms of the agreement in entirety as the initial promisors, both on a practical level and in the "delivery" model, which is perilous for the subject who is the user
