Abstract

This research aims to analyze and design a website-based management information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method for the Standupindo Malang Arts Community. Standupindo is a stand-up comedy performing arts community that requires an efficient information system to manage members, events and other related information. The RAD method is used because of its ability to speed up the system development process by involving users in every stage of development. This research includes analyzing user needs in the Standupindo community, as well as designing a system based on the results of this analysis. The resulting information system will allow community members to register, access information about upcoming events, submit stand-up comedy performance material, and interact with other members via the website platform. Thus, this system will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Standupindo community management. It is hoped that the results of this research will make a positive contribution to the development of the stand-up comedy performing arts community in Malang, as well as become an example for similar communities in implementing a website-based management information system using the RAD method.

Abstract

The delivery of logistics services continues to experience a rapid increase in line with the high sales of goods through e-commerce. According to the predetermined standards, each cargo expedition outlet is required to meet the monthly shipment achievement target (tonnage) to avoid fines and an increase in the target rate. This study aims to find out how to anticipate failure to achieve targets, so as to prevent additional operating expenses and profit instability. In this study, quantitative analysis was carried out using two algorithms. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is used to classify service user categories. The results showed that the industrial category contributed greatly to the delivery of cargo expeditions with a total tonnage percentage of 69.33%, while the remaining 30.67% was included in the individual category. Furthermore, the Multiple Linear Regression algorithm is used to predict profit values based on category classes. Predictions were made from October to December which resulted in an increase in profit for the individual category and a decrease in profit for the industrial category. Recommendations that can be made include royalty rewards for customers, brand awareness to attract new customers, as well as business cooperation with MSMEs and other business actors around them.

Abstract

Changes in business systems are becoming increasingly important in the current technological era. The phenomenon of business digitization can affect many aspects, including marketing aspects in retail businesses that sell electronic products. In this case, it is necessary to modernize the sales system which still uses conventional business models by providing printed catalogs to customers. Print catalogs have limitations in the number of products that can be displayed and are less attractive to customers. This study aims to develop a sales system for electronic product retail businesses by digitizing catalogs using the microsite feature. This catalog digitization system is applied to e-commerce as an online catalog, while the microsite is used to support increased sales. In this study, the survey method was conducted on 80 respondents who were customers or prospective customers of the retail business which was the object of research. The results of the study show that digitizing catalogs with microsites can effectively increase store attractiveness, so that the number of visits continues to increase. In addition, the system built also makes connections between e-commerce and social media so that they can provide the same information, thereby forming consumer relations that meet consumer needs.

Abstract

Cocoa is an important agricultural commodity in Indonesia which contributes to the economy with a production share of 15.68%. Cocoa diseases, such as Black Pod Rot and Pod Borer, are very detrimental to farmers. So it is necessary to build a recognition model that can classify automatically with high performance. Unfortunately the collected dataset is very unbalanced, and this is an additional challenge as it can reduce recognition performance. This study proposes disease recognition in cocoa images using the EfficientNet-B4 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model with fine-tuning. In this study also used seven kinds of data augmentation. The result is that the proposed CNN model has a high accuracy of 97.3% which is an increase of about 7.4% compared to the original model, at relatively few epochs. In addition, the proposed model is compared with other CNN models such as Xception, InceptionV3, ResNet, DenseNet, and EfficientNet, using the same approach, namely fine-tuning and epoch. The result is that the proposed method is superior to other models. This confirms that the proposed CNN model can also work better on unbalanced data.

Abstract

Suboptimal e-government implementation can make it difficult for people to get the information they need, as well as causing data security vulnerabilities. This research examines the implementation of service information system audits related to e-government using the COBIT 5 approach at the Oro-Oro Dowo Village Office, Malang City. The aim of this research is to determine the level of capability of the e-government service information system and identify potential improvements in information technology. The methods used involve observation, interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires. The research results show that information technology and e-government governance has not been managed well. The maturity level for implementing COBIT 5 in sub domains APO 02, 04, 07, 13, and variable Y is level 3 established process with several areas that require more attention in an effort to increase system efficiency and security. Recommendations are given to improve information technology governance, as well as monitoring so that it can support the development of a better public service system at the sub-district level. This research provides insight into the potential for improvements in e-government service information system audits at the local level.

Abstract

The quality of the WiFi network is very important in supporting the increasing use of video conferencing applications in educational environments. This research aims to analyze the comparative quality of WiFi networks in campus environments in video conference applications based on the Quality of Service (QoS) variable. Research was conducted on three video conferencing applications, namely Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi. Network quality is measured from four QoS variables including throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. The research results show that the application that runs best on the campus wireless network is Google Meet, with the highest average index among the other applications tested, namely 3.91 or Excellent. It is hoped that this research will provide useful guidance for educational institutions to improve video conferencing services, as well as ensure that students and staff can communicate remotely effectively without significant obstacles due to WiFi network quality problems. With a better understanding of network quality and application needs, institutions can make improvements to network infrastructure and provide recommendations for selecting video conferencing applications that suit existing network conditions.

Abstract

This study focuses on designing and analyzing an Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) device for practical learning of human anatomy. Its objective is to analyze the effectiveness of AR technology in enhancing practical learning of human anatomy and identifying possible issues in implementing such technology. The study utilizes the software development method based on SDLC with a waterfall model. The results demonstrate that the use of AR technology in practical learning of human anatomy can improve the effectiveness of student learning. Students who use AR devices can better understand and recall the material faster than those who do not. Additionally, the AR device facilitates students in visualizing the human body structure interactively and in 3D. However, the study also identifies some issues that may arise during the implementation of AR technology in practical learning of human anatomy. Educators and software developers can take note of these issues when developing AR applications for practical learning of human anatomy. In conclusion, this study proves that the use of AR technology in practical learning of human anatomy can enhance the effectiveness of student learning and provide useful information for educators and software developers in developing effective AR applications for practical learning of human anatomy.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology encourages faster and easier digitization of government administration services. The application of technology can be used to improve public services, especially at the village level. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based population information system for village governments. The research was conducted through a Research and Development approach. The system is designed by involving four actors, namely admin, officers, residents, and the village head. Implementation is carried out by providing features on the website, from letter requests to complaint services. Then, the results of system development were tested using the Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Test methods. The results show that the population information system developed is considered good enough to be used. Through this research, the performance of village officials in terms of service and management of population data can be optimized effectively and efficiently. In addition, the system built can also provide easier access to information for the community.

Abstract

Payroll can be defined as a form of service system used to make salary payments every month. With a payroll system, the process from start to finish when salaries are paid can run according to what each employee expects. At MTS Nurul Khoiroh, the current payroll system has several obstacles, where the teacher payroll process is still done manually. Payroll data is still calculated and recorded using the Microsoft Excel program and is not in the form of a database, so it is susceptible to loss and errors in data recapitulation at the end of the month. Based on these problems, an application will be created to handle the processing of salary calculation data which is the right of teachers and employees, starting from the process of calculating the basic salary to calculating allowances. The application was built using the waterfall method and with the PHP programming language. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for school treasurers to manage data while also helping to increase the efficiency of the payroll process so that it becomes faster and more accurate.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD), which is tasked with meeting the need for blood bags in Malang City is experiencing several problems. One of them is that the supply of blood bags is less than the demand for blood. Based on administrative data, demand for blood gourds in PMI Malang City will increase in 2022 compared to 2021 and 2020. To overcome limited supplies, PMI needs to make estimates to anticipate a spike in demand for blood bags. This research aims to determine the future demand for blood bags, or what is called forecasting. One method of time series forecasting is Single Exponential Smoothing. The data used is the demand for blood bags in 2020-2022 at PMI Malang City. To measure the error level of the forecasting model, this research uses Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE). The best MAPE value of 7.75% was obtained at α=0.5. The MAPE value can be categorized as very good because it is less than 10%. And based on MAE measurements, the best value is also obtained at α=0.5.
