Abstract

This study aims todetermine the types, parts used, and how to process anti-diarrheal medicinal plants in Lubuk Tanjung  Village, Lubuklinggau Barat I District and to find out the results of booklet developedmentin the community. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Inventory data analysis techniques were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results of the study found 17 species and 12 families of anti-diarrheal medicinal plants in Lubuk Tanjung  Village. Parts of plants used as medicine were 2 types of roots or 11,11%, 8 types of leaves or 44,44%, 1 type of tuber  or 5,55%, 1 type or rhizome/tender 0r 5,55%, fruit 5 species or 27,8% per pistil, and all parts 1 type or 5,55%. The processing method carried out by the community is boiling as many as 12 types or 33,33%, grated 3 types or 8,33%, squeezed 4 types or 11,11%, squeezed 1 type or 2,78%, soaked 2 types or 5,56%, juiced 5 types 13,88%, pounded 2 types or 5,56%, rubbed 2 types or 5,56%, baked/pasted 1 types or 2, 78%, and eaten directly as much as 4 types or 11,11%. Booklet product validation was 87,5% linguists. 82% media experts and 81,3% material experts. The public readability test was 93,57%. The public readibility test of the booklet was stated to be valid and very good to use. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis, bagian yang digunakan, dan cara pengolahan tumbuhan obat anti diare di Kelurahan Lubuk Tanjung Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Barat I serta untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan booklet pada masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data hasil inventarisasi dianalisis secara deskriptif, data hasil pengembangan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 17 jenis dan 12 famili tumbuhan obat anti diare di Kelurahan Lubuk Tanjung. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat berupa akar sebanyak 2 jenis atau 11,11%, daun sebanyak 8 jenis atau 44,44%, umbi sebanyak 1 jenis atau 5,55%, rimpang/empuk sebanyak 1 jenis atau 5,55%, buah/putik sebanyak 5 jenis atau 27,8%, dan seluruh bagian sebanyak 1 jenis atau 5,55%. Cara pengolahan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat adalah direbus sebanyak 12 jenis atau 33,33%, diparut sebanyak 3 jenis atau 8,33%, diperas sebanyak 4 atau 11,11%, diremas sebanyak 1 jenis atau 2,78%, direndam sebanyak 2 jenis atau 5,56%, dijus sebanyak 5 jenis 13,88%, ditumbuk sebanyak 2 jenis atau 5,56%, dioles sebanyak 2 jenis atau 5,56%, dipanggang/ditempel sebanyak 1 atau 2,78% dan dimakan langsung sebanyak 4 jenis atau 11,11%. Validasi produk booklet yakni ahli bahasa sebanyak 87.5%, ahli media sebanyak  82% dan ahli materi 81,3%. Uji coba keterbacaan masyarakat sebanyak 93,57%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka booklet pada masyarakat valid dan sangat baik untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a socio-eco-techno-preneurship-based Biology Learning Design textbook. The development model used in this research is a 4D development model which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the design expert validation obtained a score of 89% included in the very good category. The results of material expert validation obtained a score of 92% of and included in the very good category. The validation of linguists obtained a score of 90% and included in the very good category. The results of the response from the Tadris biology lecturer obtained a score of 85% and included in the very good category. The results of the limited trial to biology tadris students obtained a score of 87.25% and included in the very good category. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the textbook product developed is suitable for use in the learning process. Key words: Learning Design, Texbook, entrepneurship   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar Desain Pembelajaran Biologi berbasis socio-eco-techno-preneurship. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4 D yang meliputi Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 90% sebesar dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik . Hasil validasi ahli desain diperoleh skor 89% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Abstract

The development of student worksheets (LKPD) based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) on environmental pollution material is motivated by the less varied and innovative learning media used. The media used were only in the form of PowerPoint and printed books from the library, as a result, students agreed if learning media were developed in the form of Project Based Learning (PjBL) student worksheets. This study applies the R&D (Reseach and Development) development method using the ADDIE development model steps. The results of PjBL-based LKPD product validation were declared "very feasible" by the material expert validator with a percentage of 90% and the media expert validator with a percentage of 83%. The results of the PjBL-based worksheet product trial responses that had been developed for biology subject teachers were declared "good" with a percentage of 82% and trials for students were declared "very good" with a percentage of 94.8%. This can be interpreted that the LKPD media that has been developed is very suitable to be used as an alternative learning media that can be used in the learning process in class. Furthermore, the PjBL Project Based Learning LKPD learning media on environmental pollution material can be used outside of school learning and with the implementation of Project Based Learning it is able to hone the creativity of students. Abstrak. Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dilatarbelakangi oleh media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang bervariasi dan inovatif. Media yang digunakan hanya berupa powerpoint dan buku cetak dari perpustakaan, akibatnya, siswa setuju jika dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini menerapkan metode pengembangan R&D (Reaseach and Development) dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil validasi produk LKPD berbasis PjBL dinyatakan “sangat layak” oleh validator ahli materi dengan persentase 90% dan validator ahli media dengan persentase 83%. Hasil respon uji coba produk LKPD berbasis PjBL yang telah dikembangkan kepada guru mata pelajaran biologi  dinyatakan “baik” dengan persentase 82% dan uji coba kepada peserta didik dinyatakan “sangat baik” dengan persentase 94,8%. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa media LKPD yang telah dikembangkan sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran altenatif yang mampu digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas. Selanjutnya, media pembelajaran LKPD berbasis Project Based Learning PjBL pada materi pencemaran lingkungan mampu digunakan di luar pembelajaran disekolah dan dengan diterapkanya Project Based Learning mampu mengasah kreatifitas peserta didik.

Abstract

Field experience practice is a course that enables students to enhance the fundamental teaching abilities gained during microteaching. In the activities of field experience practice, students are given a more extended duration to teach compared to microteaching, which allows for better evaluation of all aspects of fundamental teaching skills. This study aims to analyze the basic teaching abilities of PPL students of the biology education study program in secondary schools throughout Kupang City. This is a quantitative research that utilizes a descriptive research design. The findings indicate that students who practice had 84% proficiency in opening and closing skills, 83% in explaining skills, 77% in questioning skills, 78% in variation skills, 72% in reinforcement skills, 80% in class management skills, 88% in small group and individual teaching skills, and 76% in small group discussion leading skills. The study concludes that the skill of providing reinforcement is the only basic teaching skill that falls into the sufficient category, while the other 7 basic teaching skills are considered to be in the good category. Abstrak. Praktik pengalaman lapangan merupakan mata kuliah yang memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dasar mengajar yang telah mereka dapatkan saat  microteaching. Pada kegiatan praktik pengalaman lapangan, mahasiswa memiliki durasi waktu yang lebih panjang untuk mengajar yaitu 40-135 menit dibandingkan dengan microteaching hanya 15-20 menit sehingga memungkinkan penilaian yang lebih baik terhadap semua aspek keterampilan dasar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa PPL program studi pendidikan biologi di sekolah menengah di kota Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa praktikan memiliki keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran sebesar 84%, keterampilan menjelaskan sebesar 83%, keterampilan bertanya  sebesar 77%, keterampilan mengadakan variasi sebesar 78%, keterampilan memberikan penguatan sebesar 72%, keterampilan mengelola kelas sebesar 80%, keterampilan mengajar kelompok kecil dan perorangan sebesar 88%, dan keterampilan memimpin diskusi kelompok kecil sebesar 76%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 1 indikator keterampilan dasar mengajar yang ada dalam kategori cukup yaitu keterampilan memberikan penguatan sedangkan 7 keterampilan dasar mengajar lainnya ada dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The ability to solve problem of students in the 21st century is very important. This study aims to determine the ability to solve problems and cognitive learning outcomes of students with the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. The method used is a qualitative approach to descriptive research. Techniques for collecting data on the results of LKPD answers and learning outcomes tests. The sample of this research was 36 students in class XI MIPA 8 at SMA Negeri 2 Semarang. The results of the research on students' problem solving abilities obtained a percentage of 77% in the good category. Meanwhile, cognitive learning outcomes for students are higher, with an average of 90 compared to KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria), which is 80. Key words: Solving problems, PBL, Cognitive learning outcomes   AbstrakKemampuan memecahkan masalah pada peserta didik di abad 21 ini sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning). Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data hasil jawaban LKPD dan tes hasil belajar. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 8 di SMA Negeri 2 Semarang berjumlah 36 orang. Hasil penelitian kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada peserta didik didapatkan persentase 77% dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan, hasil belajar kognitif pada peserta didik lebih tinggi yaitu dengan rerata 90 dibandingkan dengan KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) yaitu 80. Kata kunci: Memecahkan masalah, PBL, Hasil belajar kognitif.

Abstract

Combining the learning model with lesson study (LS) can increase the effect of the model in achieving the desired learning outcomes. The purpose of this pre-experimental research is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model combined with LS on the learning outcomes of Biology Education Students. This research was conducted for 1 semester on 30 students who took Plant Physiology Course in the Undergraduated Program of Biology Education, Universitas Negeri Malang using one-group pretest–posttest design. Data on learning outcomes were obtained through essay tests (pretest and posttest) and analyzed using paired t tests. The results of the paired t test inform that there is a big difference in student learning outcomes before (M = 37.5, SD = 13.3) and after learning using the discovery learning model combined with LS (M = 77, SD = 13), t(29) = 18.2, p < 0.001, d = 3.3. Thus, the application of the discovery learning model combined with LS has a major effect on the learning outcomes of Biology Education students in Plant Physiology Course. Key words: Discovery Learning, Lesson Study, and Learning Outcomes   Abstrak Memadukan model pembelajaran dengan lesson study (LS) dapat meningkatkan pengaruh model dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang diinginkan. Tujuan dari penelitian pre-eksperimental ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning dipadu LS terhadap hasil belajar Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 semeter pada 30 mahasiswa yang menempuh Mata Kuliah Fisiologi Tumbuhan di Program Studi S-1 Pendidikan Biologi, Universitas Negeri Malang menggunakan one-group pretest–posttest design. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tes esai (pretes dan postes) dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil uji t berpasangan menginformasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan besar pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum sebelum (M = 37,5, SD = 13,3) dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning dipadu LS (M =77, SD = 13), t(29) = 18,2, p < 0,001, d = 3,3. Sehingga, penerapan model discovery learning dipadu LS memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi pada Mata Kuliah Fisiologi Tumbuhan. Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of the Joyfull Learning Learning Model with the Everyone Is a Teacher Here Strategy on Student Learning Outcomes in Biology Subjects at SMAN 26 Bone. The type of research used in this research is pre-experimental research with a one group pre-test post-test design. This design uses two measurements of students regarding the material to be sampled. The results of this research indicate that the use of the Joyfull Learning Model with the Everyone Is a Teacher Here Strategy on Student Learning Outcomes in Biology Subjects at SMAN 26 Bone is effective. This can be seen in the level of students' abilities before using this learning model, namely the average was only 59.10. Furthermore, after using the Joyfull Learning Model with the Everyone Is a Teacher Here Strategy, the average score obtained was 85.35. This means that there has been an increase after implementing the Joyfull Learning Learning Model with the Everyone Is a Teacher Here Strategy. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula, it can be seen that the t value is 13.686. With a frequency (dk) of 28-1=27, at a significance level of 5% obtained ttable 2.051. Thus, because the value of tcount > ttable at a significance level of 0.05, the use of the Joyfull Learning Learning Model with the Everyone Is a Teacher Here Strategy on Student Learning Outcomes in Biology Subjects at SMAN 26 Bone has an influence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Joyfull Learning dengan Strategi Everyone Is a Teacher Here terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi SMAN 26 Bone. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test design. Desain ini menggunakan dua kali pengukuran terhadap siswa tentang materi yang akan dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Joyfull Learning dengan Strategi Everyone Is a Teacher Here terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi SMAN 26 Bone efektif. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada tingkat kemampuan siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran tersebut, yaitu rata-rata hanya mencapai 59,10. Selanjutnya setelah menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Joyfull Learning dengan Strategi Everyone Is a Teacher Here, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 85,35. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan setelah diterapkannya Model Pembelajaran Joyfull Learning dengan Strategi Everyone Is a Teacher Here Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan rumus uji t, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 13,686. Dengan frekuensi (dk) 28-1=27, pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh ttabel 2,051. Dengan demikian, karena nilai thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Joyfull Learning dengan Strategi Everyone Is a Teacher Here terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi SMAN 26 Bone memberikan pengaruh.

Abstract

Facing demands to carry out out HOTS learning, teachers find it difficult, develop a  creative mindset . Moreover, dealing with students who feel bored during class learning, are lazy to  work on questions given by the teacher, lack of understanding of students about the material  provided by the teacher, students often chat during learning, donot dare to express opinions, are  not enthusiastic about learning. The right learning model makes students play an active role in the learning process, so  that it can encourage and increase learning motivation and increase student creativity. One of the  science learning models is Project Based Learning (PjBL). the PjBL model is learning steps to  achieve certain learning objectives that are carried out throug a project within a certain period of  time. The purpose of writing this research to describe the author’s reseach in  implementing learning using a project based learning model (Project Based Learning / PjBL). The  research location was carried out at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi city. The number of subjects was 28  people concisting of 16 women and 12 men. The learning process is carried out by applying the PjBL learning model to make students  active, improve students’ ability to transfer knowledge, think critically and solve problems (problem  solving) as well as increase student creativity and achievement. Of the two people who took part in  the poster design competition, both of the got achievements, the 3rd place was the male and the  most favorite was female. The recommendations given by the teacher should not only teach with  reference to student books and teacher books but must have the courage to make contextual  learning innovations according to the background of students and the situation and conditions of  their school. Gifted students must be given further guidance to develop their talents. Schools,  especially principals, can encourrage other teachers to participate in implementing HOTS- oriented  learning through the problem- based learning (PjBL) model. Abstrak. Menghadapi tuntutan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran HOTS guru merasa  kesulitan terutama untuk mengembangkan sikap kreatif. Apalagi menghadapi peserta  didik yang merasa bosan pada saat pembelajaran dikelas, malas mengerjakan soal yang  diberikan guru, kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik tentang materi yang diberikan guru, Peserta didik sering mengobrol saat pembelajaran, tidak berani mengungkapkan pendapat  Tidak bersemangat dalam belajar. Model pembelajaran yang tepat membuat peserta didik lebih berperan aktif dalam  proses pembelajaran, sehingga dapat mendorong dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta  meningkatkan kreatifitas Peserta didik. Salah satu model pembelajaran sains adalah  Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek/Project Based Learning (PjBL). Model PjBL adalah  langkah-langkah pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tertentu yang  dilakukan melalui suatu proyek dalam jangka waktu tertentu Tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan praktik terbaik  penulis dalam menerapkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran  berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning / PjBL). Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP  Negeri 22 kota Jambi. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 28 orang yang terdiri dari 16 orang  perempuan dan 12 orang laki-laki. Proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran  PjBL menjadikan peserta didik aktif, meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam  melakukan transfer knowledge, berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah (problem solving)  serta meningkatkan kreatifitas dan prestasi peserta didik. Rekomendasi yang diberikan  guru seharusnya tidak hanya mengajar dengan mengacu pada buku siswa dan buku guru  tetapi harus berani melakukan inovasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual sesuai dengan  latar belakang peserta didik dan situasi dan kondisi sekolahnya, Peserta didik berbakat  harus diberikan bimbingan lebih lanjut untuk mengembangkan bakatnya. Sekolah,  terutama kepala sekolah dapat mendorong guru lain untuk ikut melaksanakan  pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning (PjBL).

Abstract

The haze disaster that hit the city of Jambi resulted in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school students being sent home and the learning process being carried out using an online system. The use of digital tecnology such as smartphones, website, and other can be integrated into learning methodes in the education sector. There are many obstacles experienced, but there are also many advantage to this online system. Teenagers, especially junior high school students, really need support from outside, and this cannot be separated from the motivation that must come from themselves to avoid misuse of technology. Rhe research methode used in this incident contained several stages, namely starting whit identifying the problem that existed on site. After that, study and understand the theoretical basis and relevant concepts that support the research which is called a literatur review study. The sources for this literature study are books, similar research journals, and other reference. The aim of this research is to determine the role of technology in online learning system during the haze disaster caused by forest and land fires in the city of Jambi. The results of the research are that the use of technology in online learning makes it very easy for students and teacher to access learning anywhere and at any time. Abstrak. Bencana kabut asap yang melanda kota Jambi mengakibatkan siswa TK, SD, SMP dan SMA dirumahkan dan  proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan sistem daring. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti smartphone, situs website, dan lainnya dapat diintegrasikan dalam metode pembelajaran di bidang pendidikan. Banyak kendala yang dialami, namun banyak juga kelebihan dari sistem pembelajaran daring ini. Anak-anak remaja terlebih anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari luar, juga tak terlepas dari motivasi yang harus berasal dari dirinya sendiri untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan teknologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada peristiwa ini terdapat beberapa tahapan, yaitu diawali dengan mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada di tempat. Setelah itu, mempelajari dan memahami landasan teori dan konsep relevan yang mendukung dalam penelitian yang disebut dengan studi literatur review. Adapun sumber studi literatur ini adalah buku, jurnal penelitian sejenis, dan referensi lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peranan teknologi  pada sistem pembelajaran daring di  masa bencana kabut asap akibat kebakaran hutan dan lahan di kota Jambi. Hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan teknologi dalam  pembelajaran daring sangat memudahkan  siswa dan guru untuk  mengakses pembelajaran dimana pun serta kapan saja.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the types of medicinal plants used by the Watumite Village community, find out how to use each type of medicinal plant used and find out what medicinal plant booklets are used by the Watumite Village community. Watumite Village community is suitable for use as a biology learning medium. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This research uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach. The qualitative approach used is to describe the types of medicinal plants used by the Watumite Village community. Meanwhile, a quantitative approach was carried out by calculating the results of the validation of the booklet developed which was then analyzed descriptively. The results of research on medicinal plant identification based on interviews with 10 respondents living in 4 hamlets in Watumite Village obtained 32 types of medicinal plants originating from 22 families. The findings of 32 types of medicinal plants packaged as Biology learning media in booklet form have been validated by material experts and media experts with a percentage value of 85% from material experts and 84% from media experts, declared valid. The conclusions from this research are: (1) There are 32 types of medicinal plants used by the community in Watumite Village; (2) The use of each type of medicinal plant includes the part of the plant used as medicine, the type of disease treated, and the method of processing; (3) Development of a Medicinal Plants booklet for the Watumite Village Community is categorized as suitable as a biology learning medium.
