Abstract

Penelitiaan ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh penggunaan media film terhadap hasil belajar maharah istima’ pada MAN 2 Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dalam bentuk kuasi eksperimen dengan desain True Eksperimental. Hasil temuan menunjukkan 1) Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan (kelas eksperimen ) dan tidak menggunakan media film (kelas control) sebelum perlakuan. 2) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada maharah Istima’ sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, 3) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa di kelas yang menggunakan media pembelajaran film sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. 4) Ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan dan tidak menggunakan media film setelah perlakuan. 5) Ada perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas siswa yang mengunakan media film dan tidak menggunakan media film

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the basic concept of tolerance among religious people which is based on hadiths. It must be careful in comprehending tolerance among religious people because it can make us blur in interpreting our religion itself. The type of research is library research. The resource of data of the research is classified into two groups; primary and secondary data. The method used in the research is the thematic method called maudhu’i. Maudhu’i method is useful to take the conclusion and comprehensive interpretation. Maudhu’i method collects one topic and purpose related hadiths and the interpretation completed by explanation, expression, and interpretation of the problem. In the discussion on the interpretation of hadiths, it is used textual and contextual hadiths approaches. The Textual interpretation approach is the earliest one used in interpreting the prophet’s hadiths. Meanwhile, the contextual approach is to comprehend the meaning and purpose of the prophet’s hadiths by referring to an analysis of textual hadiths. The second approach is contextual comprehension. The context here means a situation relating to an event of sentences to support the meaning of hadiths.

Abstract

The research is purposed to study a teaching method applied by Prophet Muhammad SAW by referring to his hadith as stated in the Book al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah, written by ‘Utsman Qadriy Makanisiy. Ahmad Tafsir, an expert of Indonesian Islamic education states that the theory and concept of Islamic education must be supported by the Quran verses and hadith for their existences. Therefore, the theory and concept must be built and developed from studying the resources. The topic is studied through library research by using a descriptive and explorative data adapted from a primary data resource, the Book al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah, written by ‘Utsman Qadriy Makanisiy. The result of the research concludes that the teaching methods applied by Prophet Muhammad SAW in educating as stated in al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah written by ‘Utsman Qadri Makanisiy. It consists of twenty-two methods categorized into two parts; namely macro and micro methods. The Macro method deals with education consisting of thirteen methods. Meanwhile, another method talks about a practice strategy in teaching by which containing nine teaching methods. It is recommended to educators to apply thirteen methods for educating and nine for teaching. All of the methods the prophet applied in the past, had been able to make his fellows be the best generation in the era of prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional educational institution in which students live and study together under the teachers’ guide, called Kiai, and have dormitory. It is a respective institution, especially Muslim society. At the same time, however, pesantren is not rare considered as an institution that blocks Islam's progress. This article discusses the role and prospect of pesantren. Starting from the beginning of its birth, in traditional society to model of pesantren the advancement of information technology. Pesantren has flourished long before the formal educational institution established in Indonesia. Thus, it has a great contribution to the development trend of modern society is certainly not easy for pesantren. Inside, it is an institution for the strengthening of religious and moral issues but on the other hand, it must be able to adapt in accordance with the development of modern society. For these challenges, pesantren can revitalize its role and prospect as educational institutions and community empowerment center.

Abstract

This research is purposed to discuss a solution to a dualism law of marriage. As Moslems, execution of marriage surely is based on the regulations arranged by Islam. As Indonesian citizens, the execution of marriage based on the regulations stirred by our country. As an example, there is a recording marriage. In Islam, marriage is regarded as legal if it has fulfilled is its principle and requirement. In order to have a law power, based on Indonesian law, a marriage must be recorded. The recording marriage also tells and about the duty and right of husband and wife and their duty to their children in case of unwanted cases in the household. The law dualism becomes a conflict in the society in which some people neglect the regulation on the recording of marriage. Therefore, the record of marriage is studied in two approaches namely; religious approach and the positive law approach. In the religious approach, fiqh studies about the rule of qiyas awla which focuses on a problem of debt transaction as stated in the Qur’an, surah Annisa, verse 282 which produces a duty of marriage record. The law positive approach stated that law realizes a discipline in the middle of society. Therefore, the recording of marriage must be done. Based on the approaches, the dualism of marriage law can be vanished and can be summarized about Indonesian Islamic Law. It states that the recording of marriage is considered a duty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang bagaimana seni dalam mengajarkan keterampilan menulis kepada mahasiswa. Menulis merupakan keterampilan yang harus dikuasai dalam aspek kebahasaan. Adapun 4 aspek keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yaitu: mendengar (مهارة الإستماع), keterampilan berbicara (مهارة الكلام), keterampilan membaca (مهارة القراءة), dan keterampilan menulis (مهارة الكتابة). Seperti halnya membaca, keterampilan menulis mempunyai dua aspek, tetapi dalam hubungan yang berbeda. Pertama, keterampilan membentuk huruf dan menguasai ejaan, kedua keterampilan melahirkan fikiran dan perasaan dengan tulisan. Seorang dosen bahasa Arab harus memiliki seni dalam mengajarkan keterampilan menulis, karena aspek ini seringkali dianggap sulit oleh mahasiswa, yaitu ketika merangkai huruf-huruf hijaiyah dalam sebuah kata atau kalimat, mereka bisa mengucapkan tapi kesulitan untuk menulis yang diucapkan. Menulis membutuhkan pembiasaan yang berkesinambungan, dan seorang dosen bahasa Arab harus melatih mahasiswanya untuk menulis sesuai dengan apa yang diucapkannya, dan apa yang didengarnya dalam materi tertentu. Mahasiswa kurang termotivasi untuk menulis karena kurangnya penguasaan kosa kata yang mereka miliki, dan kurangnya latihan menulis. Walaupun demikian, seorang dosen bahasa Arab seharusnya tetap melatih mahasiswanya untuk menulis dan dosen bahasa Arab harus memiliki seni dalam mengajar sehingga mahasiswa termotivasi menulis, karena dengan menulis akan terbentuklah kata dan kalimat yang benar sesuai dengan yang mereka dengar dan yang mereka ucapkan dalam suatu kata dan kalimat dalam materi pelajaran tertentu. Seharusnya seorang dosen bahasa Arab harus mengajar dengan keempat keterampilan yang disebutkan di atas, karena keterampilan menulis harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik, agar mereka bisa menuliskan apa yang telah mereka pelajari ke dalam bentuk tulisan bahasa Arab yang bisa dipahami.

Abstract

This research is purposed to study leadership in al-Quran. The article is discussed popular topics in the study of al-Quran and Interpretation. It is caused by many terminologies used for leaders in al-Quran in which each of them applied have different stressing. Several terms applied in al-Quran are to explain about leaders in this research are khalifah, ulul-amr, malik, and Al-Imam/Imamah. Khalifah is used for leaders as the first human which replace the leadership of Allah’s creatures in the past. Al-Malik is used for leaders at certain dynasties after periods of Khalifah. Ulil Amri is used for the leader who is loyal to Allah and His prophets in government. Al-Imam or Imamah is used for the leader with having an emphasis on therejection of cruelty. At return, it becomes a model, and messanger of kindness. Therefore, he must govern the country in justice and rightness, forbid any crimes. Some criteria of a good leader can become a model, recommender of kindness, Amar ma`rûf nahy mungkar, believable, as well as the implementation of duties as Moslems.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discuss ulama in Islamic society. Ulama in Islam has an important position and role in spreading out and teaching Islam in the middle of society. In the case, the prophet Muhammad states in his hadiths that ulama is the heritage of the prophet. As the heritage of prophet, ulama has a very heavy duty and responsibility, not all human beings can be ulama. In this article, the writer discusses what is an ulama from the perspective of al-Quran. The word ulama is a plural noun of the singular one, `âlim. The word `âlim is ism fâ`il of the word `ilm/`alima means understanding clearly and surely. In al-Quran, the word `ilm/`alima in various derivations is repeated 854 times. Meanwhile, the word al-`ulamâ’ is the plural form of al-`âlim, in al-Quran is repeated twice: Quran, al-Syu’ara’ (26):197 and Quran, Fathir (35): 28. The meaning of ulama in this verse is someone who masters a study of Allah and syariah (Qur’aniyah verse), knowledge of natural and social phenomenon (kauniyah verse), and has sense of khasyyah.

Abstract

The presence of Islamic Law Compilation is one of the referent forms in solving any cases in Religious Justice, which is to solve deviation of justice decision which is driven by extreme different ideas. Islamic Law Compilation is a combination of applied law regulation which is applied at Religious Justice based on President Instruction number 1, 1991 in Indonesia. However, in accordance with the development of civilization, a team of Ministry of Religious Affairs, in the name of gender equivalence, considers that the old Islamic Law Compilation is not suitable to the current time. Therefore, it needs to renew the Islamic Law Compilation because there are many discriminative chapters to women in it. Thus, the team of gender equivalence wants to increase the degree of women and formulate a draft based on the principles of democracy, justice, gender equivalence, and pluralism. Anyhow, after studying and conducting research, the Counter Legal Draft of Islamic Law Compilation, discovered by Siti Musda Mulia, Cs., is contradictive to Islamic teaching (al-Quran and Hadith). According to them, the draft of Counter Legal Draft of Islamic Law Compilation is a renewing of Islamic law. After reading several norms formulated by them, the writer thinks that is not a renewing Islamic law, but a misleading formulation that is far from the real Islamic law. Also, the renewing shows a liberal reformation that does not deal with Islamic law (Al-Qur’an and Hadist), but it is based on Western principles that idols democratic and structure values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang implementasi Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa Asing atau TEFL di kampus Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Darul Qur’an (STAIDA) Payakumbuh. Bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu Mata Kuliah Keahlian Berkarya (MKKB) yang harus diikuti oleh semua mahasiswa dari program studi Ilmu Qur’an dan Tafsir, dan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Perkuliahan ini terdiri dari dua mata kuliah yaitu; Bahasa Inggris I dan Bahasa Inggris II. Bahasa Inggris I dikeluarkan pada Semester I dengan fokus materi perkuliahan pada Listening Comprehension dan Speaking Skill. Sementara itu, mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris II diberikan pada Semester II dengan fokus materi keterampilan pada keterampilan Membaca atau Reading Comprehension, dan Menerjemah atau Translating. Data penelitian diambil dari Nilai Mahasiswa untuk mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris I dan Bahasa Inggris II tahun akademik 2016/2017 program studi Ilmu Quran-Tafsir dan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab yang dikumpulkan pada bulan Desember 2016 hingga Januari 2017. Berdasarkan data nilai-nilai tersebut dan dengan merujuk kepada passing grade pada Buku Panduan Akademik STAIDA Payakumbuh, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 80% mahasiswa Ilmu Qur’an & Tafsir dan 90% mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab LULUS dengan skor 80-100, dengan Nilai A dalam kriteria Sangat Baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa implementasi TEFL di kampus Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Darul Qur’an (STAIDA) Payakumbuh berjalan secara efektif dan optimal.
