Abstract

The method used in this article is a quantitative method, so that it can be seen how the data warehouse affects decision making. This article will discuss more deeply the effect of the data warehouse on decision making. A data warehouse is a place where all historical data from an organisation or company is stored in detail. A data warehouse can influence the decision-making process of an organisation or company by presenting data that has been collected and then processed into useful information. In addition, with a data warehouse, information can be accessed quickly, accurately, and more efficiently. Information systems also affect the decision-making process by providing data that will be processed and produce alternative solutions. The purpose of preparing this article is for further research material to make hypotheses that have an impact on one variable or another. The results of the discussion of this article are: (1) Data Warehouse affects Decision Making; (2) Information Systems affect Decision Making; (3) Data Warehouse plays a role in Decision Making.

Abstract

Business Intelligence encompasses a variety of strategies, processes, applications, data, technologies, and technical architectures implemented by companies to support the activities of data collection, analysis, and distribution of business information. Business Intelligence processes large amounts of information and data stored from various sources to make decisions. In making a business decision, a precise and accurate strategy is needed to avoid fatal errors that can harm the company. This research investigates the relationship between business intelligence and business strategy on decision-making using qualitative methods. By examining the relationship of theories and variables sourced from journals available online. The results of this literature review article are: 1) business intelligence affects decision making; 2) business strategy affects decision making.

Abstract

Apart from it’s value it has been recognized architectural Business Intelligence (BI) has an important influence in the business decision making process, Business intelligence architecture has a crucial role in determining progress in the business decision-making process, by using it, companies can collect, manage, analyze and present data efficiently. This research aims to determine the importance of the influence of business intelligence architecture in the business decision making process. According to theory, the maturity stage of Enterprise Architecture (EA) can influence the extent to which users can obtain appropriate BI representations, which in turn influences the effectiveness of business decision making. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature review of journals. References made come from online journals such as Google Scholar. Methodological and consistent methods must be used in qualitative research. This study contributes to the BI architecture literature. Managerial findings will be useful for BI stakeholders in planning, reviewing and decision making.

Abstract

The rapid development of business in the digital era intensifies competition among companies. To survive, businesses must develop effective sales strategies based on accurate information. This study explores the impact of strategic datamining on company performance. Data mining techniques, such as classification and forecasting, help analyze sales data to predict trends, enabling production adjustments and sales optimization. Implementing data mining accelerates decision-making, increases sales, and reduces losses, making companies more competitive. Data mining is the process of extracting valuable information from large datasets, crucial for business improvement. It transforms transactional data into actionable insights, enabling automated and efficient analysis. This study shows that data mining enhances operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and predictive capabilities. Challenges like technical complexity and data quality must be addressed. In conclusion, data mining plays a vital role in improving company performance by identifying patterns, optimizing operations, and predicting future trends. Abstract

Management Information System is an application of information technology in business organizations. This research aims to understand the influence of Business Intelligence Management Information System on financial information. The research method involves literature review by analyzing various books and scientific articles as data sources. Data collection techniques include editing, organizing, and advanced analysis. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the role of Management Information System in business competition related to financial information. After the data is collected, descriptive analysis is conducted. The results indicate that the implementation of Business Intelligence Management Information System significantly affects business competition in terms of financial information quality. Businesses that adopt a healthy approach tend to achieve better, accurate, and timely results.

Abstract

The misuse of information technology for cyber crimes such as online gambling, pornography, carding, phishing, and hacking increases the risk of leaking users' personal data, as seen in the case of Facebook, due to the lack of privacy protection by technology companies. Risks and security threats from social media and sharing personal information online are also on the rise, while the lack of codified regulations for personal data protection in Indonesia poses a problem. The research aims to understand how Facebook addresses user data leaks and the obstacles faced in cyber security in Indonesia. The analysis employs qualitative techniques and literature studies, gathering data and information from online articles, journals, and books. The research findings conclude that Facebook has secured data to protect user privacy. However, with the rapid advancement of technology, increasingly complex cyber crimes pose a growing threat to data security. Awareness of cyber security among the Indonesian public remains limited

Abstract

Using SWOT analysis as a marketing approach, this study examines the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by Nasi Kuning Mpok Yuli, which is the subject of the research. Based on descriptive analysis findings, Nasi Kuning Mpok Yuli has several internal elements relevant to the products it offers, such as a strategic location in a densely populated area and few comparable competitors. The weaknesses and threats faced by Mpok Yuli's business, such as inadequate financial recording, passive offline marketing, and a lack of reliance on digital marketing for product promotion, must be considered alongside the business's strengths and opportunities.

Abstract

In a competitive business environment, SMEs in the city of Bekasi continue to grow. Established in 2015, Ayam Geprek must choose the best marketing plan to compete. This study uses SWOT analysis and qualitative descriptive research methods to identify the best marketing strategy for Ayam Geprek in Bekasi. Thirty questions were used to collect research data on the fried chicken company from primary and secondary sources, each reflecting variables of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Based on the results, the fried chicken company falls into Quadrant I and supports aggressive initiatives with an internal strength score of 1.4 and an environmental opportunity score of 0.8. The strategies implemented are product creation and innovation strategies, market entry strategies, market expansion, and integration.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the sales strategy in digital marketing for the SME Basreng Sultan Bandung by identifying marketing strategies and analyzing the SWOT of the product. The use of SWOT aims to understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the company. The current rapid economic development impacts company competition, and business actors utilize information technology to develop and promote their products. Basreng Sultan Bandung conducts sales and marketing through social media, which plays an important role in increasing sales and consumer interest. The goal of using digital marketing is to make it easier to market products and for consumers to obtain these products through social media. This research method uses a qualitative approach.

Abstract

SMEs are business ventures undertaken by the majority of Indonesians to generate income. The SME industry was not destroyed by the financial crisis of 1998. SMEs have been growing rapidly every year. This phenomenon occurs not only in Bekasi but also in other regions of Indonesia. The growth of the SME sector has become a government priority, especially in terms of marketing. All industries are experiencing SME development, including the culinary industry. One of the currently popular culinary dishes is seblak. Although there are many types of seblak, this particular one is the most popular due to its affordable price, delicious taste, and comfortable location. One of the latest trends in Bekasi is Seblak Prasmanan. The data collection techniques used were literature review and observational study. Based on the research findings, the marketing strategy aligned with the 4Ps (product, price, place, and promotion) influences the sales volume of Seblak Prasmanan. The conclusion of this research is that a more effective marketing strategy is expected to increase the sales volume of Seblak Prasmanan.
