Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the non-formal educational institutions that make a major contribution to the Indonesian nation, currently Islamic boarding schools not only provide religious knowledge whose status is only non-formal education will open up formal education in efforts to develop human resources This research aims to discuss the role of Islamic boarding schools in development human resources at Syarif Hidayatulloh Islamic Boarding School (Syahida). This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Research subjects were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the Pondok Leaders, community leaders, and students. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and verifying. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the Syarif Hidayatulloh Islamic Boarding School has a role in human resource development. This is evidenced by data verification with a data assessment rubric, that the results of observations, interviews, and documentation show that there has been an increase in human resources thanks to the role of the Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School. This research concludes that Islamic boarding schools have a role in human resource development.

Abstract

The character and paradigm of the Indonesian nation in the contemporary era is experiencing many problems, one of which is the birth of the paradigm group of the liberal Indonesian society (MIL), the structuralist Indonesian society (MIS) and the marginalist Indonesian society (MIM) which later gave birth to implicit social inequality. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the three contemporary paradigms and their problems which are then combined with the insight of the archipelago and religious education to find solutions and their handling in efforts to build the character of the Indonesian nation in the contemporary era. This research uses qualitative methods through literature study as well as philosophical and sociological analysis of the phenomena that occur. The results of this study indicate that the insight of the archipelago and also religious education is an ideal solution in overcoming the problems of the Indonesian nation's paradigm in the contemporary era and has a central role in the development of the character of the Indonesian nation if its implementation can be maximized by means of character education which is as it should be.

Abstract

Radicalism is a movement in the form of a movement to replace or change the old ideology into a new ideology that appears in Islam internally. This study aims to be able to find out descriptively about the role of pesantren in preventing radicalism. This article uses data collection techniques in qualitative research is through library research. The literature research in this study needs to strengthen the analysis of research related to the efforts of pesantren in preventing radicalism. Islamic boarding school is a form of educational institution that has existed for a long time in Indonesia and has been proven to have a major contribution in various aspects of the nation's life from the Kingdom period to resistance to colonialism. The term Islamic boarding school according to scientists are two terms that contain one meaning. that the pesantren has a guideline "Al-Muhafazah'ala al-qadim as-shalih wa al-akhdzu bi al-jadid al-ashlah" which means maintaining good old traditions and adopting new, better traditions, that things that are acceptable and beneficial for Islam in life, it needs to be developed. While things that are not allowed are things from outside that are contrary to or harmful to Islam

Abstract

An ideal education is one that involves the role of the family, the role of the school, and the role of the community so that students will have character values based on culture. This study aims to explore the relationship between the roles of family, school, and community in the formation of cultural identity for elementary school students. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The subjects of this research are principals, school committees, teachers, students, and communities or parents of students. In education, it is not only the school that is responsible but all components of society. Through cultural understanding, students can develop a sense of pride in their cultural heritage, while strengthening national identity amid the dynamics of globalization. Forming a cultural identity helps students recognize their cultural roots, understand values, and identify themselves within the context of that culture. Cultural identity formation helps strengthen students' character and personality, providing a strong foundation for positive decision-making and ethical behavior. It can be concluded that cultural identity opens up an understanding of the diversity of the world, preparing students to interact with diverse societies in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of preserving local cultural values that are starting to disappear due to the negative impact of global technological developments. But in the same case that, with the development of this technology can be implemented towards preserving and maintaining local culture through the learning process in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of this study found ways to utilize technology as an effort to maintain local culture in the learning process in elementary schools. The role of a teacher is very central in the world of education. Therefore, a teacher must be able to utilize technological advances as a learning medium, especially in learning cultural wealth. A teacher must be able to encourage the younger generation to preserve local culture. Because when a teacher is unable to provide an understanding of local culture, the younger generation will be eroded by globalization and the onslaught of western culture.

Abstract

The development of Islamic society through the cultivation of applied Sufism values ​​combines religious studies and social theory to build society. The aim is to overcome social problems, explore potential, empower society, and encourage social change towards the desired society, by applying religious values ​​in everyday life. This research aims to review the role of cultivating Sufism values ​​in developing Islamic society in Kudadepa Village, Sukaheuning District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling of subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation with research subjects including village officials, community leaders and village residents. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and verification. The results of the research show that the development of an Islamic society through instilling Sufism values ​​in Kudadepa Village is reflected in improvements in the economy, social, politics, culture, education and especially in the religious sector. This success was verified through observation, interviews and documentation. In conclusion, the development of Islamic society through instilling Sufism values ​​is very effective in improving the welfare of Islamic society.

Abstract

Mitos dan legenda yang berkembang di tengah masyarakat memiliki keberagaman yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan situasi masyarakat lokal. Hal ini tentunya memberikan pengaruh dalam membentuk identitas budaya khususnya dalam skup wilayah kecil atau lokal. Penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap peran mitos dan legenda dalam membentuk identitas budaya lokal di tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Bagaimana mitos dan legenda mempengaruhi pembentukan identitas budaya lokal dalam masyarakat tertentu? Apa peran faktor-faktor kontekstual, seperti sejarah, lingkungan geografis, dan perkembangan sosial, dalam memoderasi pengaruh mitos dan legenda terhadap pembentukan identitas budaya lokal? Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa mitos dan legenda tumbuh dari cerita-cerita membantu masyarakat dalam membentuk kepercayaan diri dan kebanggaan terhadap identitas yang di emban oleh mereka.

Abstract

Perubahan dalam pembagian peran dan tanggung jawab antara anggota keluarga berdasarkan jenis kelamin mencerminkan kompleksitas dalam evolusi peran gender di dalam keluarga. Sebelumnya, peran gender dalam keluarga terikat oleh tradisi di mana laki-laki bertanggung jawab sebagai pencari nafkah sementara perempuan mengurus rumah tangga dan anak-anak, tetapi mengalami pergeseran yang signifikan. Adaptasi keluarga terhadap perubahan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya, serta pergeseran nilai-nilai yang mendorong kesetaraan gender dan partisipasi aktif kedua jenis kelamin dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan keluarga, tercermin dalam perubahan ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari pola, tren, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan dalam peran gender di keluarga, serta untuk menjelaskan bagaimana perubahan tersebut mencerminkan dan berdampak pada dinamika sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi dalam masyarakat saat ini.

Abstract

The innovative pattern of productive distribution of zakat funds at the empirical level, the process of Islamization of the income distribution system is still relatively new and is still being implemented in small volumes by a number of zakat amil institutions, but it is already showing a direction of optimism. The research aims to find out whether there is a program for utilizing zakat funds launched by the zakat amil institution Rumah Zakat Indonesia. Researchers assume that zakat funds have a productive content that is different from other forms of loans, which of course will shape productivity patterns. The research used qualitative methods, data was obtained from the results of researchers' observations and surveys on the program for utilizing zakat funds for productive programs. The research results show that the utilization program launched by Rumah Zakat Indonesia through an income distribution system, although at an empirical level, is still relatively new, it is already moving towards optimism. The policy of the utilization program through the target dimension is very appropriate, by making the poor as the target recipients of productive zakat funds.

Abstract

Schools have a multifaceted role in improving the rural economy. Through education and training, human resource development, innovation, entrepreneurship, community involvement, information networks, poverty alleviation, environment and sustainability, schools can be a catalyst for positive change in the rural economy. The aim of this research is to determine the role of schools in improving the rural economy. The research used qualitative methods, data was obtained from the results of researchers' observations and surveys on the role of schools in improving the rural economy. The research results show that schools make a major contribution to improving the rural economy. Investment in village education is an investment in a future that can provide more prosperity and sustainability.
