Abstract

Renewable sources of energy by utilizing water resources, more specifically is PLTMH (Micro-Hydro power plants) to be an excellent choice for potential to be developed in order to overcome the scarcity of energy. For ease in learning about PLTMH then use PLTMH prototype by designing the nozzle position on the corner of 00, 150, 300, 450, 600 and 750 to measurements, using three types of turbine vanes, on the position of the nozzle at an angle of 600 produces round generator and turbine rotation. The position of the nozzle at an angle of 600, a model turbine vanes are recommended to be used is semicircular vanes model because the model in the position and the power-generating turbine vanes most large.

Abstract

Pengoperasian beban non linier merupakan penyebab timbulnya harmonisa. Tingkat distorsi atau disebut Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) yang tinggi berpotensi menurunkan kualitas energi listrik yang disalurkan. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran THD pada tiap Sub Distribution Panel (SDP) di RSUD Klungkung. Hasil pengukuran awal menunjukkan nilai THDI tertinggi terdapat pada SDP P.AC sebesar 45,73% dan terendah pada SDP UGD sebesar 3,93%. Sedangkan nilai THDV hasil pengukuran awal rata-rata sebesar 5,3%. Standar yang dijadikan acuan adalah IEEE Standard 519-2014, dimana batas standar THDI adalah 8,0%, dan batas standar THDV adalah 8,0%. Nilai THD yang melewati standar dianalisis dan disimulasikan pada perangkat lunak ETAP dengan penambahan Damped Filter untuk mereduksi nilai THD yang melewati standar. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi setelah penambahan Damped Filter, nilai THDI mengalami penurunan di tiap-tiap SDP. Namun hanya beberapa SDP dengan kandungan THDI yang sesuai dengan standar. Penurunan THDI tertinggi terdapat pada SDP P.AC sebesar 10,63%, dan penurunan terendah terdapat pada SDP IPSRS sebesar 2%. Nilai THDV pada tiap-tiap SDP setelah penambahan Damped Filter juga mengalami penurunan dengan rata-rata penurunan sebesar 1.74%.

Abstract

The case of a yellow baby (hyperbilirubinemia) is one of the most common conditions in newborns. One of the measures to reduce bilirubin levels in a baby is by phototherapy using blue light therapy. There are two types of blue light therapy equipment that is currently used in Cempaka area of Sanglah hospital, namely: blue light therapy fluorescent lamps and blue light therapy LED lights. Both types of equipment have different shapes and light sources. The result of light source form analysis on both therapy equipment shows that blue light therapy of rectangular fluorescent lamp will produce a wider irradiation area than blue light therapy LED which only produce limited exposure area on work surface. Based on the area and the intensity of irradiation produced by the two forms of blue light therapy, it can be concluded that blue light therapy of rectangular fluorescent lamps at a distance of 30 cm will result in a wider irradiation area with a higher mean intensity value (12mW/cm2/nm) compared to blue light therapy LEDs that produce only limited irradiated areas on the surface of the work plane with lower average intensity values (6 mW/cm2/nm).

Abstract

In an effort to improve the quality of service and overcome problems such as, electricity customers are not disciplined in paying utility bills each month, metering errors made by PLN employees, and electricity theft. Then PT. PLN issued and implemented a pre-paid electricity system. To find out the public perception of the effectiveness of the prepaid product kWhmeter for the community (middle aged customers (45-59th) and elderly (?60th)), this study investigates the use of products in the Br.Betngandang area of ??Sanur, Bali. The design of this paper is descriptive by conducting surveys to people's homes. Based on population of head of household in region Br. Betngandang obtained the number of samples of 74. To know the public perception of the effectiveness of the use of kWhmeter prepaid then the community is given a questionnaire with 11 statements and 4 questions to be filled. The results in this paper are in the range of 60% - 80% indicating that the use of prepaid kWhmeter products provides a relatively strong effectiveness and this makes a good public perception of prepaid kWhmeter products.

Abstract

Abstract — Air merupakan salah satu sumber energi yang potesinnya besar dan tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Masalah utama dari pembangkit tenaga air adalah debit air yang mengalir tidak kontinyu sepanjang tahun. Karakteristik lokasi masing-masing penempatan mikro hidro adalah unik. Sebuah mikro hidro yang ditempatkan pada lokasi tertentu diperlukan turbin yang sesuai dengan karakteristik lokasi yang ada. Dalam penelitian ini dirancang turbin untuk mendapatkan turbin model Nest-Lie jenis baru yang mengakomodir semua parameter lokasi yang ada. Metode yang dilakukan adalah (1). Memanfaatkan data lokasi untuk isiaiasi desain awal, (2). menemukan model matematis turbin, (3). membuat prototipe model untuk diuji di laboratorium, (4). Membuat model turbin yang sebenarnya untuk ujicoba lapangan. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah RPM pada roda turbin Nest-Lie menghasilkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan, dengan tekanan pada 28 Psi yang terbaca pada menghasilkan RPM berkisar antara 157,2 -231,1 dimana sudut posisi untuk 0o. 5o, 10o, 15o. RPM tertinggi untuk sudut posisi 0o dan dengan pada sudut nozzle 22,5o. dan Sudut nozzle yang menghasilkan RPM tertinggi adalah pada sudut 22,5-25,5 dengan sudut posisi 0o-5o. Tekanan yang dihasilkan pada saluran nozzle bukan merupakan penjumlahan dari tekanan masing-masing, hanya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 27%. Dan RPM mengalami peningkatan sebesar 20%. Abstract

Micro-Hidro power plant (PLTMH) is one of the alternative sources of power plant that use renewable energy in the form of water. This study analyzes the influence of change in water discharge and the water pressure against the torque, voltage, and the resulting electric current from generator. The result of the analysis on the changes of water discharge as well as changes in water pressure at the angle of the nozzle position 650 and variation of nozzle 50 ; 650, the highest measurement result obtained on a half-circle vanes. On testing the changes of water discharge or water pressure, output voltage and the output current of the generator which is obtained on the half-circle vanes with the position of the nozzle 650 i.e. of 1,994 Volt and 0,332 Ampere on changes of water discharge, as well as 1,326 Volt and 0,265 Ampere on changes of water pressure. Highest torque value is present on the vanes fins with nozzle variation 50 ; 650 namely 0.0159 Nm on the changes of water discharge and 0.0122 Nm on the changes of water pressure.

Abstract

Penyulang Pecatu merupakan penyulang yang memiliki konfigurasi sistem distribusi tipe radial, dengan panjang saluran 31 kms. Selain itu, penyulang ini memiliki trafo distribusi sebanyak 105 buah dengan total jumlah pelanggan mencapai 11.800 pelanggan. Untuk melindungi penyulang dari gangguan surja petir , maka dipasang Arrester Multi Chamber pada tiap tiang gawang pada saluran distribusi untuk melindungi saluran distribusi pada Penyulang Pecatu. Pemasangan Arrester Multi Chamber di penyulang Pecatu dengan tujuan, yaitu mengetahui bagaimana data teknis dan kinerja dari pemasangan Arrester Multi Chamber di sepanjang jaringan distribusi di penyulang Pecatu dan mengetahui data gangguan yang ditimbulkan oleh sambaran petir. Dengan penempatan arrester sekitar berjarak 200 m di setiap empat sampai lima gawang , diperoleh kenaikan tegangan saat mengalami surja petir dengan kecepatan gelombang 4/10 µs, dengan waktu sampai kepuncak 10 µs, dimana dengan arus surja 65 kA yaitu 4.147,1831 kV, sedangkan untuk arus surja 20 kA dengan penempatan arrester pada tiap gawang saluran distribusi , kecepatan gelombang dan waktu sampai ke puncak yang sama didapatkan kenaikan tegangan yaitu 713, 385827 kV

Abstract

Abstract— In this study, the short circuit simulation conducted of 3-phase, phase to phase and single line to ground fault in several alternate site points which are selected based on the interruption that might occur in the feeders and from the GI base point thought end point in Kedonganan feeders. The value of short circuit current are used to set the time setting of over current relay to make the protection equipment run according to safety requirements. Based on the analysis result, it shows that the current interruptions are influenced by the distant of interruption, the more distant the point then the smaller short circuit current would happened, and vice versa. The increasing short circuit current can caused a grading time in relay in each alternate location with average grading time about 0,4 second. Rearrangement of protection system in short circuit is recommended especially in protection system based on outcome which can improve the sensitivity and selectivity for better protection system.

Abstract

One of the most frequent natural disasters in every rainy season is the flood. The City of Denpasar experienced a fairly rapid development with various functions such as education, trade and tourism city, due to changes in land use and rapid population development could have a negative impact that is the reduction of soil absorption and the increase of flood prone areas which in the end causing grievances from people in the area. Through four parameters namely flood event, rainfall intensity, area height and density of settlement can determine the potential area of flood disaster in Denpasar City area by using Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The calculation weights of the flood parameters can be generated map of potential areas prone to flooding in the City Denpasar. Provided high potential flood areas of 9%, medium level of 28% and a low level of 63% of 43 villages in the City of Denpasar. This result can be an input for all stakeholders as policy makers can make decisions in flood disaster management.

Abstract

The power system must be able to server the load in a sustainable manner with good service quality, such as constant voltage and frequency, quickly stabilized when load changes occur. The control generator automatically changes the frequency to the highest value when the system changes every time. This is called AGC. To keep the frequency in a stable state required frequency control system. Currently developing a lot of control system with fuzzy logic method. The simulation is performed using 5 membership functions and gives a loading of 0.1 pu, using MATLAB-Simulink software. From the analysis result, the comparison of output of frequency response in overshoot condition with conventional method yielded , settling time of 20.5 second. While the fuzzy logic controller method produces frequency response output in the overshoot state that is , settling time is 12 seconds. Whit the fuzzy logic controller method produces better performance and faster than conventional methods.
