Abstract

Operation of nonlinear loads can cause harmonic distortion in the voltage and current waveforms that result in abnormal electrical system condition. Content THD (Total Harmonics Distortion) an excess flow can cause power quality systems become worse, thus causing the system power factor is lower. Active filter and Passive filter which aims to reduce harmonics that arise. Analysis THD simulation and measurement results in accordance with IEEE 519-2014 and analysis designing of a passive filter and active filter is right to suppress harmonic distortion. The analysis shows that the installation of active filters causes the current and voltage THD contents to comply with the standard IEEE 519-2014 standards is ?12% and 5%. The use of passive and active filters can reduce THDi content to 8.45% and 3.07%, respectively. While for THDv decreased respectively to 3.68% and 3.45% which already meet the IEEE 519-2014 standards. Power losses decreased respectively to 4.36 kW and 3.86 kW. Installation of active filters is better for reducing THD (Total Harmonics Distortion) and power losses in KA 2085 transformers.

Abstract

Relai REF (Restricted Earth Fault) digunakan sebagai peralatan pengaman dari gangguanhubung singkat satu phasa ke tanah, agar arus gangguan tidak mengalir ke titik netral trafo saatputusnya kawat NGR (Neutral Ground Resistor). Arus hubung singkat satu phasa ke tanahsebelum putusnya Pengawatan NGR sebesar 288,67 Ampere, sedangkan arus hubung singkatsesudah putusnya Pengawatan NGR sebesar 884,15 Ampere. Hasil analisis pemasangan relaiREF pada trafo 60 MVA terhadap gangguan hubung singkat satu phasa ke tanah saat putusyapengawatan NGR mempunyai kemampuan proteksi yang baik berdasarkan dari perhitungansimulasi gangguan saat putusnya Pengawatan pentanahan NGR, dengan arus hubung singkatsebesar 884,15 Ampere, maka besar arus yang mengalir pada relai REF sebesar 0,263Ampere, sedangkan relai REF di setting pada 0,233 Ampere, maka dapat di pastikan relai REFsudah bekerja, karena waktu kerja relai REF adalah 0 detik atau tanpa waktu tunda.

Abstract

Kerobokan feeder supply electrical energy in the area of Kerobokan. This feeder supplies 67 distribution transformers that serve a variety of customers with nonlinier electrical loads. Nonlinier electrical loads cause harmonics which adversely affect customers and power system equipment, especially distribution transformers. In Kerobokan feeder, only 3 (4.5%) of the 67 transformers has THDi content that according with the IEEE 519-2014 standard and 64 (95.5%) of the 67 transformers has a high THDi content and exceed the IEEE 519-2014 standard. For this reason, the power losses, efficiency, and work capacity of the transformer are analyzed due to the effect of THDi. This study uses a direct measurement method in all transformers in the Kerobokan feeder and simulation on the ETAP Powerstation program. The results of the analysis showed that total power losses without being affected by THDi for all transformers were 49.4 kW and after being affected by THDi were 591.71 kW. The highest THDi content is in the KA 0992 transformer is 24.8% which results in an increased in power losses is 12.02 kW or 12.02% of its capacity and a decreased in efficiency is 12.66% and has a decreased in work capacity is 19.9%. While the smallest THDi content is found in the DB 449 transformer is 6.8% which results in an increased in power losses is 2.2 kW or 0.88% of its capacity and a decreased efficiency is 1.01% and has a decreased in work capacity is 2.7%.

Abstract

Bali National Golf Resort has a high level of non-linear load usage. A harmonic is emerged due to a high level of non-linear load usage which was the main problem on the quality of electric power. On the other hand, it is also lead to an adverse impact for the electric power system such as the wave form and voltage were not sinusoidal. Then, in order to reduce it, an active filter could be used as one of the best way. This research focused on the simulation of PID (Proportional Integral Derivate) Controller towards an active filter to reduce the harmonic and MATLAB R2013 software that applicated as the instrument. As the result,the usage of PID Controller on the active filter could reduce the THDi into 1.89% and THDv into 0.59 % as an average percentage at Bali National Golf Resort.

Abstract

Penyulang Abang merupakan penyulang dengan konfigurasi sistem distribusi tipe radial dengan suplai tenaga listrik dari GI Amlapura dan PLTS Karangasem. Gangguan hubung singkat pada penyulang dapat menyebabkan kedip tegangan yang akan dirasakan oleh pelanggan yang disuplai dari transformator yang sama. Titik lokasi gangguan untuk analisis perhitungan kedip tegangan diasumsikan 25%,50%,75%, dan 100% dari panjang penyulang Abang. Simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan menggunakan dynamic voltage restore yang terpasang pada salah satu beban dalam program Matlab-Simulink. Hasil perhitungan kedip tegangan 1 fasa ke tanah adalah sebesar 114 V, 169 V, 229 V, 287 V sedangkan perhitungan kedip tegangan 3 fasa adalah sebesar 98 V, 194 V, 279 V, 376 V. Hasil simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan 1 fasa ke tanah dengan dynamic voltage restorer dapat memulihkan tegangan sebesar 0,2053 pu dengan waktu pemulihan 0,01 s. Simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan 3 fasa dengan dynamic voltage restorer dapat memulihkan fasa A sebesar 0,0736 pu, fasa B sebesar 0,0507 pu dan fasa C sebesar 0,0866 pu dengan waktu pemulihan 0,01 s.

Abstract

The high level of harmonics found in the use of electrical energy can cause the system's power quality to get worse. the voltage and currentqwaveforms ofra distorted system giveerise to aneincrease inplosses that affect the efficiency0of the transformer. In this studyqa currenteTHD analysis will be carried out in Klungkung District Hospital. The simulation results will be compared with the IEEE 519-2014 standard in theconditions existing and the conditions at the operationeof the shunteactiveyfilter,analysis is alsoecarried out losses before and after the harmonics are affected. The results of theanalysis of Losses the existing conditions are losses of Phase R2.310 kW, Phase S of 2.363 kW, Phase T of 2.285 kW. The operating simulation of activefilters shunt obtained losses for phase R 2,141 Kw, Phases S 2,158 kW, Phase T 2,142 kW, so that the losses totalat the time of the existing amounted to 6,958 kW and after installation of active filters losses were total6,441 kW. The level of efficiency transformer in hospitals whenKlungkung existing amounted to 96.18% and after being fittedactive filter shuntefficiency of 96.46%.

Abstract

A previous review of harmonic analyzes has been conducted at The Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa hotel, where there are many high non linear loads, resulting in harmonic distortions that have an impact on power losses. The current harmonic content of the electricity system at The Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa hotel does not meet the IEEE 519-1992 standard which results in decreased power quality. This research analyzes the steps of installing high-pass hybrid filter type to reduce harmonic distortion, analyze power losses using ETAP software. Analysis is performed before and after the installation of hybrid filters. The analysis result of hybrid filter simulation can reduce harmonic distortion with THDi value at SDP1 equal to 6,42%, SDP2 equal to 6,41%, SDP3 equal to 6,42%, SDP4 6,41%, and SDP5 6,42%. THDv value simulation results on all SDP before installation of hybrid filter that is 8.80% and after installation of hybrid filter that is 0,13%.

Abstract

Beban non linier adalah beban yang komponen arusnya tidak proporsional terhadap komponen tegangannya. Meningkatnya pengoperasian beban-beban non linier mengakibatkan terjadinya distorsi harmonisa Sehingga perlu diketahui perbandingan distorsi harmonisa dan rugi-rugi daya sebelum dan sesudah terpasangnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya, pada penyulang Abang Karangasem, dengan menggunakan software simulink MATLAB. Hasil simulasi pada kondisi sebelum terpasangnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya nilai THDi sebesar 14,81% dan nilai THDv sebesar 0,01%, rugi-rugi daya adalah 0,109272 KW.Pada kondisi sesudah terpasangnya PLTS nilai THDi meningkat sebesar 21,60% dan nilai THDv tetap sebesar 0,01%, rugi-rugi daya meningkat sebesar 3,7237KW.

Abstract

Timbulnya distrosi harmonisa dari pengoperasian beban non-linier dapat mengakibatkan sistem kelistrikan menjadi tidak normal. Hal ini terbukti melalui simulasi pada Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa yang memiliki mayoritas berupa beban nonlinier. Simulasi dilakukan menggunakan software ETAP, pengelompokkan jenis beban nonlinier, perhitungan daya aktif (P) dan arus beban (IL), analisis THD(Total Harmonic Distraction) hasil simulasi dibandingkan dengan standar IEEE 519-1992, batas maksimum THDI untuk SCratio<20 adalah 5,0% sedangkan THDV adalah 5,0%. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan nilai THDI di Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa tidak memenuhi standar, yaitu seluruh SDP(Sub Distribution Panel) memiliki persentase diatas 5,0% dengan presentase paling besar terdapat di SDP 1.5 sebesar 19,48% sedangkan persentase THDI di SDP lainnya memiliki rata-rata sebesar 8,8%. Nilai THDV hasil simulasi memenuhi standar, yaitu seluruh SDP memiliki nilai THDV dibawah 5%, persentase THDV paling besar terdapat di SDP 1.3 sebesar 2,83% sedangkan persentase THDV di SDP lainnya memiliki rata-rata sebesar 2,72%.

Abstract

In every power plant there are several power quality problems that greatly affect apower system, one of which is harmonics. Harmonics are a multiple of the basic frequency ofthe system so that the waves in the resulting system are not pure sinusoidal and in the end cancause interference with equipment in the power system, one of which is an induction motor. tosuppress the harmonic content by adding a passive filter. Simulation using the simulink methodin Matlab aims to determine changes in the performance of the 3-phase induction motor atrotation and torque by adding a passive filter to suppress the harmonic content in the network.The simulation results obtained data and in the form of wave images analyzed for differences.On the motor, there is no change in rotation, namely 1498 Rpm and torque of 0.4682 Nm.In the network there is a decrease in THD when a passive filter is added to the currents in eachphase R, S, and T, which is 1.40% with a load of 3 motors.
