Abstract

New and renewable energy has become the green energy trend in the electric power system going forward. The Bayu Power Station (PLTB) is one of the centers of electricity generation with a primary source of energy that is pollution-free and environmentally friendly. Currently in the South Sulawesi system, PLTB has operated with a total power of 70 MW at a base load of around 700 MW. Because PLTB is very dependent on wind conditions, the power generated becomes unstable and this has a significant intermittent effect on the stability of the system. The results of this study indicate that the intermittent composition of nuclear power plants is increasing from the April-July 2018 period. This ever increasing contribution disrupts frequency stability in the South Sulawesi system

Abstract

Abstract— Formulating a marketing strategy for a pioneering or long-running restaurant business is a very important thing. Analyze the weaknesses or strengths of business competitors is one of these strategies. Identification of weaknesses and strengths can be done by taking data from comments on competitors' Instagram accounts using Text Preprocessing Techniques. Text Preprocessing is a text processing algorithm, consisting of Transform Cases, Stopword Filters, Tokenize Filters, and Stemming. Instagram is one of the most widely used social media accounts as a promotional media in Indonesia. Another method that can be used is Full Text Search, this method can analyze the patterns in comments that have been parsed for classified into positive, negative, or neutral sentiment categories. This study concludes that this sentiment analysis system can automatically recognized weaknesses (based on negative comments) and strengths (based on positive comments) based on comments on Instagram accounts owned by restaurant business competitors with an accuracy of 85% and a precision value of 79%.

Abstract

Abstract— an expert system can be used as a second opinion for comparison or supporting diagnosis from experts. Data mining is used to obtain information applied to this system. Whereas in conducting learning using Artificial Neural Networks which apply the Extreme Learning Machine method so that it can accelerate learning up to thousands of times. In this paper, software development is carried out to test the activation functions used in conducting learning and the variables used as input during learning.

Abstract

The use of physical server for Bank Mandiri branch office operations has several shortcomings, namely the high server procurement costs, limited part upgrading, maintenance costs, land requirements and electricity consumption. An alternative that can be used is cloud computing technology based on virtualization with the ROCCA adoption method. In this research, cloud computing is implemented to run the operational applications of Bank Mandiri branch offices using Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization. Then the performance and value of cost efficiency are compared to the physical server. Implementation results indicate the ROCCA method can be used for cloud computing adoption in the banking sector. Measurement of physical server performance reaches a score of 36% while the cloud server 9%, physical server memory reaches a score of 35% while the cloud server 50%, and the physical server harddisk reach a score of 48% and cloud server 52%. A higher percentage indicates better performance. Regarding to network speed, the physical server reaches a bandwidth of 94.9 Mbits / sec, while the cloud server 94.1 Mbits / sec. In terms of investment efficiency is not too significant, where in 5 years the efficiency value is 1.8% and for 10 years it is 2.81%.

Abstract

The hot points that occur in the switchyard are caused by currents flowing in the conductor due to obstacles. The frequent heating part is the terminal and connection portion of the switchyard, especially between the two different metals, as well as the cross section of the conductor that shrinks due to corrosion. So that the part should be considered, by controlling or checking the temperature using Thermovisi. The hot temperature of equipment Arrester in Bay Indarung 1 Pauh Limo is still under normal conditions where the temperature ranges from 20oC-43oC. But need attention to the improvement plan. Temperature difference between the phase of Arrester equipment in switchyard of Bay Indarung 1 Pauh Limo one reaches the III condition, there are conditions I and II where it shows necessary investigation and improvement plan, to avoid occurrence short-circuited between phases (R, S, T).

Abstract

Sending data with large data sizes between two or more computers in a company is affected by various factors, both the network connection of the two computers to the data exchange method used, one method that can be used is the ZeroMQ library. The method of sending files using the ZeroMQ method is relatively faster because the architecture is brokerless or without middleware as an intermediary so that the process of sending files can be done quickly and can blow up the resources used. The ZeroMQ method was originally created to send messages, but we can add file conversion algorithms to binary numbers, so the messages sent are binary numbers from encoded files. This application is built on the Python programming language so that it is easier to develop again. The results of the design of file transfer applications using the ZeroMQ library performed on two server computers and client computers explain that this method can be used to send files and from the results of the test the time required and the latency value is relatively faster and more stable.

Abstract

Abstract— Most of the power plants use fossil energy sources, while fossil energy has several undesirable effects. To overcome this, it is necessary to develop in electricity that is by using renewable energy as a source of electrical energy. Some examples of electrical renewable energy sources used are solar energy and wind energy. Renewable energy as electricity generation can be developed using a microgrid concept, generation with more than one power plant. The combination of different types of power plants is often called a hybrid power plant. One example is a hybrid power plant with a smart microgrid network system at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, which has been operating since 2017, which is a collaboration between Udayana University and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). This smart microgrid requires a study of the energy supply system of the power generation in order to know its performance to serve the DH building load. The study will analyze the data in October 2018. Research results show that smart microgrids cannot fully meet the electricity load in October 2018. The electrical energy load of 4330 kWh DH building is supplied by PLTS 333,383 kWh, PLTB 121.07 kWh, and supply of 803.57 batteries. kWh The shortage of electrical energy from the microgrid system is supplied by PLN by 1591.7 kWh and when overproduction, PLN can get energy from the 541 kWh microgrid. Battery charging energy is 1894.38 kWh. The use of renewable energy in the DH building reached 63.24%. Keywords— Microgrid, PLTS, PLTB, Battery

Abstract

Abstract— Civil Servants or abbreviated as PNS represent countries that have a role in carrying out their duties to achieve the goals of the State. Contributions made by civil servants through performance affect the progress and achievement of a government agency. Staffing management at government agencies has been processed by utilizing information technology. E-Kinerja is a breakthrough by the government to measure the productivity of civil servants against responsibilities towards the main tasks and functions in achieving the objectives of government. The E-Performance information system each civil servant processes the employee performance target data input process, which is an agenda to be carried out by PNS, based on the PNS Work Behavior. The E-Performance information system of each civil servant process the employee performance targets the input data process, which is an agenda to be carried out by civil servants, based on the PNS Work Behavior. The capability of the E-Kinerja information system for staffing management needs to be evaluated. E-Performance information system audits can provide an overview, evaluation and identification of the use of information technology can provide results in terms of staffing management. COBIT 5 Framework is a collection of procedures that can meet the needs of governance and management to achieve the goals of an organization. In this research the E-Kinerja information system reaches an average value of 3.67 at level 4 (Predictble Process). Indicates that the planning of the E-Kinerja information system at the Denpasar City Population and Civil Registry Office has achieved the expected goals.

Abstract

Abstract— The process of processing household waste into biogas is carried out using fermentation technology. Fermentation technology is the process of decomposition of organic compounds to produce energy and changes in the substrate become new products by microbes. In addition, the fermentation technique that has been done by fermenting household waste produces methane gas content (CH?). To process household waste into biogas is to use biodigester. Biogester is a closed space that is used for the waste fermentation process which is assisted by microbes. Using a biodigester is expected to accelerate the fermentation process of household waste into alternative biogas materials because of the airtight biodigester state. A temperature and pressure data logger tool is designed on smart biogas household waste using the MPX5500DP sensor. The MPX5500DP sensor will detect the amount of gas pressure from the biogas results because the range of readings from this sensor is in accordance with what is needed, while the DHT22 sensor uses a large temperature reading because the temperature in the biodigester is not too large between 28?C - 40?C. From the results of reading the temperature and pressure values, the data will be processed by the Arduino Uno Microcontroller and stored data by the data logger. Based on the test results, the temperature measurement error readings of 0.81%, while for the pressure measurement of about 3.5%.

Abstract

Snort merupakan salah satu sistem deteksi intrusi (IDS) open source yang banyak digunakan untuk mendeteksi intrusi atau aktivitas mencurigakan pada lalu lintas jaringan. Snort akan memberikan alert atau peringatan apabila terdapat serangan yang terdeteksi, kemudian mencatatnya pada log. Data log IDS Snort tersebut dapat digunakan oleh administrator jaringan untuk menganalisis kerentanan sistem keamanan jaringan. Analisis data log dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya mengimplementasikan algoritma clustering seperti Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). Implementasi algoritma pada penelitian ini berbasis Python 3 dan bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan serangan pada data log menjadi 4 kategori risiko, yaitu low, medium, high, dan critical risk. Hasil analisis penelitian ini adalah berupa pengelompokkan serangan dengan FCM dan visualisasi jenis serangan yang berhasil dideteksi oleh IDS Snort. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan Modified Partition Coefficient (MPC) untuk menentukan validitas hasil clustering FCM. Kata Kunci— Clustering, Fuzzy C-Means, Log, Snort.
