Abstract

Breast milk, especially if it is given exclusively is the best first food for babies after birth. Babies will get a sufficient intake ofnutrients and essential substances such as immune substances so that he can grow normally both physically and psychologically. For themother who gives breast to her baby will get positive benefits for the health of post-childbirth. Some issues become an obstacle in the field sothat not all babies get the best food. Message of the Qur’an is therefore important to note that in addition to containing directives life, thereare practical solutions to problems such as breast-feeding mothers who can not breast-feeding her child with the mother dairy.

Abstract

polygamy is restricted opportunities (especially for civil servants) are used based on the number of cases of irregularities andimbalances polygamous family. As polygamy was illegal, the outbreak of the household, the absence of economic security and justice,oppression of women, and displaced children. However, the regulations concerning polygamy (UUP-1/1974, PP-9/1975, and PP-10/1983)are relatively obsoloete. Therefore, it is questionable again, if the rules are restrictive and prohibit polygamy still relevant and should continueto be enforced? Is not it considered contrary to human rights because the government is too far away to intervene in the private sphere? Ispolygamy still considered socially deviant acts, or exactly the opposite of polygamy is a laudable behavior to avoid deviant behavior?Polygamy is the unalienable right of every person who should be protected and fairly distributed. Abstract

Women have often overlooked in the history of struggle of the Indonesian nation. In the history books of the nation, we aremore familiar with men heroic figures than women, so not many know how much women’s roles in the establishment of a nation calledIndonesia. Nyai Ontosoroh is a character in the novel Bumi Manusia, by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, who is recognized as the Indonesianliterary canon. It is the representation of women who were born and live in the nation before of independence of Indonesian nation. Althoughborn from the lowest class in the structure of Indonesian society and never earned the right to attend school, Nyai Ontosoroh have a largerole in the Indonesian struggle until the establishment of an independent Indonesian nation. The questions that guide the writing are 1) howbig Nyai Ontosoroh role in the struggle of the Indonesian nation and 2) what role do Nyai Ontosoroh in the struggle of the Indonesian nation.Conclusions obtained from studies that Nyai Ontosoroh is a representation of women in Indonesia who has a big role in realizing nationalindependence of Indonesia. That role not only in the form of concrete action, but the her conviction to have more faith in their own strengththan to rely on foreign strenght like the Dutch colonial government

Abstract

The ideal wife in everyday life is the dream of every husband. The paradigm of an ideal wife actually has been declared bythe Prophet Mohammad in some tradition is very clear. Abstract

Todays, violence and subordination experienced by women in the domestic sphere into the events that are familiar ineveryday life. The Government has been providing products Law Number 23 Year 2004 on the Elimination of Violence in Household.However, this law has not effectively curb the violence that occurs in women. This social reality portrayed by Putu Wijaya in a short story toopen the eyes of the community that the events portrayed in the short story "Laila" is a reflection of the circumstances that exist in thecommunity. Husband-wife relationship is structured, imposition of the will, the absence of living, economic extortion, physical violence andmental, are the kinds of unfair treatment that often befall women.

Abstract

marrying the child in time means respecting the rights of children, propose marriage at an early age children will take thechildren to play and study time at the same time not giving a chance for children to prepare themselves to be truly ready and mature.Likewise, if a delay marriage will cause problems for the rights of the child for the two brides who marry late because he'll also have kids whoneed attention and education. If he was old and weak, then the efforts become less maximal. Preparation for marriage levels are important.Preparation steady without doubts and fears that Muslim youth are ready and have been married at the right time is not too early and nottoo late.

Abstract

Poverty is one of major socio-economics problems in Indonesia. Poverty level of indonesia in 2009 is 15.42 percent.Therefore, government implements Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), as one of the poverty alleviation efforts. The purpose of the studywas to analyze the influence of gender relations toward wife’s symptom of stress and marriage quality in PKH family’s receivers. Theobjectives of the study were: (1) To described the socio-economic and demographic of the family, (2) to know the gender relations, (3) Toexplained the symptoms of stress, (4) To found out the marriage quality, and (5) To analyzed the factors affecting marriage quality. Therespondents were the wives of 131 poor families. This was a cross sectional study which was performed among poor families in BogorDistrict, West Java province during May to June 2009. Arround three-fourth (75%) of the samples had gender perspectives in good category.Around half (54%) of the samples had imbalanced distributions of roles between husband and wife, that was shown by husband’sdominance in public sectors, and wife’s dominance in domestic sectors. Arround three-fourth (72%) of the samples had mild symptom ofstress, and had happiness and satisfaction toward their marriage. Finally, based on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), it was shown thatthe marriage quality was directly influenced by the stress’ symptom of wife. Thus, the lower level of wife’s symptom of stress, then the higherthe level of marriage quality. Unfortunately, this study could not prove that gender relations effect the marriage quality

Abstract

Novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban (PBS) by Abiedah El Khalieqy have been created through a very subjective explorationthrough the assumptions that shaped suspicion. The novel as a whole illustrates idealitas Islamic educational institutions to replace theinstitutions that do injustice. Islamic School is so factually ideality in accordance with the novel, and the realities that are not in accordancewith these idealities purely fictional, born of a research capitalize gender prejudice and sentiment.
