Abstract

This study attemps to know the effectiveness guided inquiry learning method  towards science learning outcomes of fourth grade high achieving students on theme 8 at SD 1 Trirenggo. The study use a kind of quasi experiment with a quantitative approch with one group pretest and posttest design. The subject were 4 high achieving students of fourth grade at SD 1 Trirenggo. The technique of data collection use a test, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study with quantitative decription statistic. The result of this study indicates the increased value posttest that having given guided inquiry learning method treatment. The result of each subject in increasing on the subject ALF increased of 65 be 80 with a good criteria, subjek FDL increased value of 55 be 75 with enough criteria, subjek MYL increased value of 75 be 85 with good criteria, and subject SFD increased value of 60 be 80 with good criteria. The increase shows that guided inquiry learning method effective againts the science learning outcomes of fourth grade high achieving students on theme 8 at SD 1 Trirenggo

Abstract

Elementary has emerged as an inclusive school in Indonesia recently. Eventhough some of them haven’t shown the proper planning of inclusive learning, learning process, and optimal outcome learning for special needs students. Moreover if the learning process connected with religious value in Islamic elementary school. How the implementation of religious value can be involved in Individual Education Program (IEP) in elementary school?  This paper discuss about Individual Education Program (IEP) based on religious value which conduct as a particular curriculum for special needs students (SNS). Investigation for specific purpose on this study headed to Islamic values development in SNS. The data collected from interviews, documents, and observation from Ar-Roihan Inclusive Islamic Elementary School Lawang that has been pointed as inclusive pilot project since 2016. Prior study has shown the benefit of inclusive school for disability children, but it’s not focus on how Islamic values influence in their daily activities. Developed from data collected, the IEP program has reflected how the SNS used to and motivated to Islamic way in their daily activities, such as pray together, recite holy Qur’an, and respect for each other. Findings indicated that IEP which had given as individual treatment and lesson plan became an important thing for Islamic inclusive elementary school to reach their goal for disability students activities such as pray together, recite holy Quran, dan giving charity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku menyakiti diri pada anak autis di SLB Autisma Dian Amanah Yogyakarta menggunakan prosedur asesmen perilaku fungsional. Penelitian difokuskan pada setting perilaku di sekolah, dengan pengumpulan data berupa antecedent, behavior, consequence, dan faktor mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif eksploratori. Subjek penelitian meliputi 2 siswa autis yaitu NKW dan AGS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan pengisian skala motivasi perilaku. Data dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan menyajikan data dalam bentuk naratif dan tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan antecedent munculnya perilaku menyakiti diri berupa efek interaksi tidak menyenangkan, kebisingan verbal, kegiatan tidak disukai, cuaca panas, melihat benda tidak sesuai tempat, dan melihat objek ditakuti. Consequence perilaku berupa mendapat sensasi menyenangkan pada indera (sensory), terhindar dari tugas atau kegiatan (escape), maupun mendapat perhatian (attention). Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku berupa kemampuan komunikasi ekspresi yang rendah, pengkonsumsian obat-obatan, pola tidur tidak teratur, serta level autismenya.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe of gifted student’s learning style based on the Kolb model learning style in the form of divergers, assimilators, convergers and accommodators and career choice among gifted students. The aspects examined in this study was career choice based on the learning style of the "KOLB" model. The subjects of the study were gifted students in3rdgrade class of senior high school. The data collection of the study used a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire. The method of data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that 10 students had an assimilation learning style, 7 students had diverger learning styles, 6 students had learning styles and no students had an accommodating learning style. The results of the study show that the majority of sgifted students are able to make career selection decisions that are congruent with the learning style even though the interests of the career fields of gifted students are still very diverse.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aimed to improve the ability to master the vocabulary of animal names using UNO media assisted by augmented reality. The subject was an autistic student who had problems mastering the vocabulary of animal names at SLB Autisma Dian Amanah Yogyakarta. The research design used the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. Data collection techniques used tests and observation. Learning outcomes test and student activity observation sheets were used as instruments. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study UNO assisted with augmented reality improved the process and learning outcomes of animal name vocabulary in autistic students. The improvement process was supported by steps expaining and demonstraring ANIMO cards. Observing, shuffling, opening, and matching the color of the card. throwing on the base of the drawing. Mentioning the name and place of life of the animal. Increased learning outcomes in pre-action scored 36.7. Post-action I scored 60 and Post-cycle action II increased to 86.7.

Abstract

Perkembangan layanan pendidikan khusus menuntut penyiapan kompentensi calon guru yang sesuai dengan tantangan saat ini. Penelitian ini mereviu kurikulum prodi pendidikan khusus jenjang S-1 (n= 7) dari total 18 prodi pendidikan khusus di Indonesia. Analisis kurikulum dilakukan dengan dua fokus, yaitu: matakuliah dengan fokus jenis kebutuhan khusus dan matakuliah pendukung kompetensi utama guru khusus (contoh: asesmen, intervensi akademik, intervensi perilaku, layanan transisi, dan layanan kompensatoris). Prosentase matakuliah penunjang kompentensi utama guru pendidikan khusus masih sangat terbatas (rerata = 47%). Hampir ke-tujuh prodi dalam penelitian ini terfokus pada jenis kekhususan yang ditawarkan dalam matakuliah wajib maupun pilihan berdasarkan kebutuhan khusus. Selain itu, matakuliah untuk menunjang kemampuan guru untuk menerapkan intervensi perilaku maupun layanan transisi tidak selalu dijumpai di setiap prodi pendidikan khusus. Pergeseran fokus kearah kebutuhan khusus disarankan untuk membekali calon guru pendidikan khusus.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of implementation Enrichment Model Renzulli Type III to increase learning outcome high achieving students grade V in SD 1 Trirenggo at theme 8 the matter  of IPA. This research used quantitative approach with quasi experimental research type. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study used three high achieving science students of grade V elementary school. Data collection using tests, observations, and documentations. Analysis of data used using non parametric statistics Type Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test results obtained T count = 0 (α = 0,05), then T count ≤ Tα and H0 rejected and Ha accepted. This means that Enrichment Model Renzulli Type III is effective to improve learning outcome of the high achieving science students of class V elementary school in SD 1 Trirenggo. The effectiveness of Enrichment Model Renzulli Type  III is indicated by an increase in the score of pre-test and post-test results. The average pre-test score is 45 and average post-test score is 74.67. Where there is a score increase of 29.67%.
