Abstract

Every child is born with creative potential, but this potential may be stifled if care is not taken to nurture and stimulate creativity. Creativity is the ability to see things in a new and unusual sight, to see problems that no one else may even realize exist, and then come up with new, unusual, and effective solutions to these problems. Children like to try out different ways, experiment with different materials, and see what they can do creatively. Finding different ways to exspressing themselves physically satisfies the urge for creative action. But it must be their ways, their ides, and their accomplishment. Physical education gives children opportunity for exploratory and creative activity. Children need an opportunity to tray out their own ideas, solve some of their own movement problems and bring forth movement of their own origin. Teachers need to take advantage of this drive by providing opportunity for the child to come up with his own movement ideas. Kata kunci: Kreatifitas, pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

Physical education programs designed and implemented from preschool to post secondary level are principally for achieving the goals of physical education consist of four aspects. Those aspects are cognitive, psychomotor, affective, and physical domains. The measurement and evaluation of affective domain, like other domains, can be done through physical education teaching programs. The psychological development in the affective domain context such as attitude, behavior, interest, sportsmanship, leadership, social behavior, personality can be measured. Although these psychological features have been seen as side impacts, they become the main purpose in teaching physical education which eventually helps character building. Some instruments that can be used to measure and evaluate affective domain have been constructed to measure those psychological features. They are attitude, behavior, interest, sportsmanship, leadership, social behavior, personality inventory. There are also some established methods and types of scale such as quantitative methods (Likert Scale), semantic differential scale, serial level scale) and qualitative methods (interview and observation). Abstract

The appropriate learning process for preschool children is by playing. Playing is inconsciously part of basic movement of pencak silat such as kicking, punching, eluding, or running. Not all of basic movements in pencak silat are appropriate for preschool children. Teachers need to be careful in selecting or defining appropriate technique and movement. In delivering basic movements of pencak silat for preschool children needs to include playing methods and develops socialization aspects including the use of language/ terminology modified in order not to have violent impression. Children do not need to be introduced about the concept of enemy, because the main aspect for them is to grow. Because growing them needs stumulations so pencak silat is only for fun, sport and discipline development, bot for sefl-defense. In other words, it needs to consider learning principals for preschool children. Leaning pencak silat using playing methods can be done by playing model, story telling, dancing, immitating movement, or demonstrating something. Abstract

Instructional technology is theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management and evaluation of processes and recources for learning. The aims of instructional technology is to ease, to stimulate, to facilitate, and to encourage learning process. The ultimate goal of learning is changing on cognition, skills, and affection which are relatively permanent. In pencak silat course, the need to improve its learning process is critical. This can be enhanced by implementing instructional technology in the learning. Kata kunci : Teknologi pembelajaran, Permasalahan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Among the spreading of shopping centers bring amenity for amount of people; not aside from Physical Education teacher who interested for a business. Someones shopping activity in fulfilling daily need, reading news, listening radio, television, transport service and also private vehicle for transportation fluency; all those represent activity of business for the existence of service provider and consumer side. Some needs of that human being represented business field to others so that the interaction of various needs will create business fields, not aside from sport business, for example founding sport shop, training, organizing a game, or sport activities and also serve the needs of athletes such as clothes, food and also calorie-contained beverage. Sport businesses in Indonesia are in partial existed, but such condition still needs the stakeholder touch in order to obtain more maximal result. In National Seminar of Sportsmanship Industry, it have been told some business chances to public that sport-related company, included home industry (e.g. shuttlecock, sport t-shirt, medal graver, self-defense uniform, glove softball, event organizer, etc.) which have expanded themselves so that necessary to snuggle up to be Sport Industry. The Law of National Sportsmanship System has given chances for every citizen to plunge in sport business world, not aside from Physical Education teacher. Consider their involvements, Physical Education teacher with their activity quite a lot related to sport; of course they understand so much the needs of sport perpetrators which represent potential business field for. In starting or developing sport business, Physical Education teacher needs certain tricks, such as: (1) have strong willingness to try by stocked of never give up spirit as well as learning desire, (2) the run-business is easy reached in ability, management, and monetary source, and also that activity have to pleasant, (3) seeing market potency and society needs and also majoring customer satisfaction, (4) in attracting the customer purchasing ability, its necessary using cost leadership strategy, and (5) for managed-company survival, its using forwards, rear, and horizontal integration strategies. Abstract

This paper describes the importance of modification equipment and facilities in physical education teaching learning for elementary level. One of the physical education qualities is indicated by the adequate equipment and facilities. The ratio of teachers, students, and the equipment and facilities is important data in preparing quality teaching physical education. Physical education in elementary level is the basic building of the national sport system. The adequate equipment and facilities will bring a foundation for children to enjoy physical activity in physical education programs. By including equipment and facilities for physical education and sport in the law such as National Sports System Acts No. 3, 2005 and Regulation of the Ministry of National Education No. 24, 2007 about equipment and facilities standards for schools, the government has clear authority and regulation. In fact, different school has different capacity to provide adequate equipment and facilities. This can be solved by modification of the games and sport either from number of players, and teaching strategies. It is also necessary that the modification of physical education equipment and facilities is appropriate for elementary students. Winning and losing in games which are part of physical education programs is not the main point but how the children play it. Kata Kunci : Modifikasi, sarana, prasarana, pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

This action research was aimed to improve the learning quality of the physical education by using the audiovisual media in SMPN 1 Kalasan, Sleman in the academic year of 2005-2006. The subject of the research was the students of grade VII D SMPN 1 Kalasan. The number of the students was 38 students, consisted of 17 male and 21 female in the academic year of 2005-2006. The subject matter of learning is shooting in basket ball. The techniques of the data collection of the research were questionnaire, interview, and observation, while the technique of the data analysis of the research was descriptive. The result of research showed that implementation of audiovisual media by DVD can improve the students appreciation in learning as well as enhance the students learning performance. The suggestions to be considered are the need of implementing the audiovisual as media learning in large scope and different subject matter. The school needs special class for audiovisual media. Abstract

The idea that physical education is to improve physical fitness is impossible because the limited time provided in secondary high school curriculum. Therefore, the policy to have sports as extracurricular is important which are driven to provide programs based on students interest, talents, situation, and needs. Basketball as an extracurricular contributes to improve students physical fitness and also talent scouting. Regular and systematic exercise will improve physical fitness components such as : (1) cardiorespiratory endurance, (2) muscle strength and endurance, (3) flexibility, (4) body composition. Basketball as an extra curricular program functions as development of basketball elite athletes. Kata kunci : ekstrakurikuler bolabasket, pembibitan, kesegaran jasmani.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal a description on the participants understanding of teaching learning process in elementary physical education on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. They were the participants of training for classroom/ religion teachers in Yogyakarta Special Province. The population was 80 classroom/ religion teachers who participated in the training of 2005. The sample was 60 teachers taken by purposive sampling procedures. This research employed descriptive approach using questionnaire as the data collection technique. The results showed that for cognitive aspect, it was 91, 67% of cognitive aspect categorized as high, 8,33% as medium, and 0% as low. It was 6,7 %of affective aspect categorized as high, 5 % as medium, and 18,33 % as low. It was 63,33% of psychomotor aspect categorized as high, 36,67% as medium, and 0% as low. The total of those three aspects showed that the understanding of the training participants were 43,33% included as high category, 56,67% included as medium category, and 0% included as low category. Abstract

The target of this research was to know the profile of interest of instructor practice gymnastic aerobic in Town Bandung. Research method used in this research was descriptive method as a mean to depict an event at the time of now which look in a situation. In this research, data obtained to be collected, compiled, explained, and analyzed to specify conclusion, because this research wish to express problem that happened at a period to now that is instructor interest profile practice gymnastic aerobic. The population and sample of research of taken as source of information of teachers of physical education exercising gymnastic of aerobic center Fitness of Hotel Jayakarta, Majesty and Bikasoga Bandung. Research instrument in this research is questionnaire to measure instructor interest practice gymnastic aerobic. Enumeration and data processing use percentage technique. As for result of its enumeration shall be as follows: sub of cognate variable own score equal to 1605 or 71.33% from ideal score, affective own score equal to 1480 or 70.48% from ideal score, and psychomotor own score equal to 2658 or 70.88% from ideal score. Its conclusion is profile of interest of instructor practice gymnastic aerobic in Town Bandung earn indication through sub of cognate variable. While other aspect are psychomotor and affective. Matter this means to know interest of instructor practice gymnastic aerobic in Town of Bandung earn seemly its cognate ability later on ability of psychomotor and affective. Pursuant to result of processing and data analyses, hence conclusion from result of this research either through public and also special: “profile of Interest of instructor practice gymnastic aerobic in Town of Bandung is included in good criterion.” This matter relied on acquirement of score of actual equal to 5743 or 70.90% from ideal score Kata kunci: instruktur, senam aerobic, guru penjas.
