Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, debt to equity ratio, and firm size on stock return. Current ratio used as a proxy from liquidity and ROA were used as proxy from profitability. The population that was used in this research consisted of all listed firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2020. After passed the purposive sampling method there were 16 firms obtained as samples from SRIKehati index during 2012-2018. The data analysis technique is path analysis, the wide version from multiple linear regression. The result of this research showed that current ratio and firm size have negatively non significant impact on stock returns, debt to equity ratio and ROA have positively significant impact on stock returns.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention with creative work behavior as mediators. This study uses entrepreneurship education as independent variable, entrepreneurial intention as the dependent variable, and creative work behavior as intervening variable. This study took a study on students of the Faculty of Economics dan Business, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The sample in this study amounted to 120 respondents who were all students of the 2016 Faculty of Economics dan Business Faculty of Diponegoro University dan had taken the entrepreneurship courses. Partial Least Square (PLS) method as statistical tools used in this research. The results of the study are as follows: 1) There are significant and positive effects of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention, this is indicated by T statistic 4,774 (p < 0,05). 2) There are significant and positive effects of the entrepreneurship education on the creative work behavior, this is indicated by T statistic 7,918, (p < 0,05). 3) There are significant dan positive effects of the creative work behavior on the entrepreneurial intention, this is indicated by T statistic 9,281 (p < 0,05). The results of the mediation testing also show a VAR value of 0.617114 (VAR <0.8), which means that the role of the creative work behavior variable as a mediating variable is partial mediation, in which the entrepreneurial education variable is able to directly influence the entrepreneurial intention variable without going through or involving the mediator variable creative work behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality, brand image and online marketing on purchasing decisions. The independent variables used in this study are product quality, brand image and online marketing. The dependent variable in this study is the purchase decision.This study uses primary data. The population of this research is the consumers of PT. Havindo Feed Optima. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 100 respondents who met the criteria. Test analysis using multiple regression analysis model.The results showed that the product quality variable had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Online marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study was conducted to test the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposite Ratio (FDR) and Operating Expenses on Operating Income (BOPO) on Return on Assets (ROA). Data obtained from OJK publications for the period 2016-2019. Obtained 4 Sharia Banks used in this research. The analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using tstatistics to test the coefficients of each variable and f-statis to test variable bettors together with a significance level of 5% and also perform classic assumption tests i.e. normality tests, heterocedastisity tests and multicolinearity tests. The results showed that CAR and BOPO are insignificant with significant levels above 5%, NPF is significantly negative with significant levels below 5% and positive FDR is not significant with significant levels above 5%. An F value of 0.022 indicates simultaneously having a significant influence on ROA.

Abstract

Capital structure is an important factor in a company because it is directly related to the continuity of the company's life. There are several factors that can affect the capital structure. This study aims to examine the influence of several factors, namely: liquidity, business risk, asset structure, profitability, and company size, on capital structure, which will be proxied by the Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), which is carried out in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2014 to 2018.  This study uses trade-off theory and pecking-order theory as a reference basis. The sample of this research is 70 companies which is using purposive sampling method as the basis for sampling. The data collected through financial reports and Bloomberg. This research hypothesis testing using multiple linear regressions accompanied by conducting classic assumptions test on the data to be used. The analysis tool used in this study is by the SPSS 25 program.The findings of this study indicate that liquidity and profitability have a negative and significant effect on capital structure. The variables of asset structure and company size show a significant and positive effect. Meanwhile, the business risk variable does not significantly affect in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variables of Transformational Leadership, Work Motivation, and Organizational Commitment on improving employee performance. Based on company data, it is shown that there was a decline in employee performance in the third and fourth quarter of 2019. The phenomenon of decreasing performance is what underlies this research. Then build an empirical research model of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Pos Indonesia Kudus through the concept of organizational commitment.The data used in this study are primary data in the form of distributing questionnaires as many as 50 employee respondents from all departments at PT Pos Kudus. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling. The analysis model of this study used the PLS Structural Equation Model and to test the effect of the intervening variables, the specific indirect effect test was used. The results showed that (1) transformational leadership was positive on employee performance. (2) work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. (3) transformational leadership has a positive effect on organizational commitment. (4) work motivation has a positive effect on organizational commitment. (5) organizational commitment has a negative effect on employee performance.From the results of the intervening test on the specific indirect effect, Organizational Commitment can be an intervening variable between Work Motivation and Employee Performance. This means that employees feel that their Work Motivation is very good and can show that employees have a sense of being motivated in terms of improving work to continue to develop so that inwardly employees have the instinct to increase their capabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of ETF performance in Indonesia. ETF is an exchange traded mutual fund and traded in the stock exchange around the world. Unlike equity fund actively-manage which has objective to outperform the composite index, ETF is passively manage and trying to replicate the benchmark index performance. This study uses model implemented by Rompotis (2012) who find that the ETF return is determined by its risk, tracking error, and expense ratio. This study examines the performance of 13 passively managed equity ETFs which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019. The result indicates that the ETF underperforms its benchmark index. Additionally, this study finds that risk, and expense ratio determine the ETF performance, while net tracking error does not.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of organizational culture, servant leadership, and organizational commitment to organizational citizenship behavior of employees at Hotel Grasia Semarang. This research was conducted by giving questionnaires to 66 respondents. This study used SPSS Statistic 25 software analysis tool. The test data used included validity, reliability, classical assumption, t test, F test, coefficient of termination, and multiple linear regression analysis. .Based on the results of the instrument test, it is known that all the instruments in this study are valid and reliable. In testing the classical assumptions also showed that the data were normally distributed, there were no symptoms of multicolonearity and no symptoms of heterocedasticity. Based on the results of regression analysis, show that the equation Y = 0.332 X1 + 0.409 X2 + 0.171 X3. The coefficient of determination shows the number 0.565, which means the dependent variable is influenced by the independent variable by 56.5%.The results showed that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior of employees, servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment has no effect on organizational citizenship behavior of employees.

Abstract

The retirement wave of Baby Boomer’s is placing industry at risk of labor shortages for the next few years. This results in severe competition between companies for attracting and retaining potential young workforces to be developed as superior successors. Hence, the concept of employer brand emerges as an element of company strategy to attract and retain potential candidates from the labor market. Although many companies in Indonesia have implemented employer branding strategies to attract and retain potential workforce, there is still a limited amount of research related to this concept in Indonesia.            Thus, this research aims to determine and analyze the effects of employer brand image on intent to apply for a job with work experience as a moderator among a sample of Generation Y Job Seekers. The population in this research is Diponegoro University Graduates that were seeking for employment at the time of participation. The sample consists of 105 Job Seekers.            Data in this research was collected through distribution of questionnaires using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling methods. Each item in the questionnaire is measured by five-point likert scale.             The results of this research showed that employer brand image is proved to give positive and significant effect on intent to apply for a job. In addition, the results also showed that work experience didn’t moderate the relationship between employer brand image and intent to apply.

Abstract

The development of the internet in the world is getting wider so that many companies are trying to create products and services to meet people's wants and needs. Companies must create new marketing strategies in order to survive and attract larger consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, perceived value, and perceived usefulness on continuance intention with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study were users of the OVO digital wallet (e-Wallet) who had used OVO to make purchase transactions. The number of samples used were 160 respondents and were selected by purposive sampling and data collection methods through questionnaires. The analytical tool used in this research is the AMOS program.The results of this study indicate that service quality, perceived value, and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on continuance intention. The process that has the most influence on increasing continuance intention on OVO digital wallets (e-Wallets) is an increase in service quality that affects customer satisfaction as a determinant of success in increasing continuance intention.
