Abstract

Amid economic courses situation and high number of employment caused by industries and  business  downsizing,  even bruncrupcies, therefore  it  is  necessary for students as intellectual people to be prepared not only for employed but also to be  self­ employed or (entrepreneurship).  The objective of this entrepreneurship course is in line with necessity above that students need to possess the knowledge, skill, attitudes, as well as a vision on entrepreneurship.The number of participants of the course were 36 students consists of 33 students from Building Construction Education  Study Program, one  student from Mechanical Study Program,  and  two  students  from  Educational  Faculty  in  University  State  of Yogyakarta. The course  was designed to educate students to master selecting material and-technical production in furniture production and how to market the furniture, especially to buyers in foreign countries. The methods were utilized in the course, such as lecture, demonstration, discussion, seminar, inviting professional business players/guest lecture, and field visit. The course consists of:  (1) Inspire the sole of Entrepreneurship, (2)  Strategy and  Efforts  in  Furniture  Business, (3)  ISO  14.000   Ecolabelling, (4) Selecting Row Material  Storage, (5) Business Plan: Situation analysis  Purpose of Business, (6) Proposing Capital to Bank for Small Business, (7) Strategy, Capital, and Marketing, (8)  Finishing  Process,  (9)  Break  Even  Point    Financial  Estimation  of Business, (10) Cash-flow, (11) Establishing Business, (12) Risk Management, (13) Business Ethics, (14) Business Presentation, and (15) Final Exam.The cause  accomplishment  would be valuable  contribution  to  the  institution, instructors and especially for the participated students who are still layman in the would of entrepreneurship. So far the students want to be government employees after their graduation. The course is expected provide the students insight especially in the furniture businesses.  Running  business  with  preparing  Business  Plan  will  minimize  the  risk, manage the business better and maximize profits. The indicators of the success of the course are such as : (1) The development of entrepreneurship class-note or module; (2) Business Plan and Its Presentation; and  (3) Most of the students would be ready to be new entrepreneurship.  Key words:  entrepreneurship course, and eksport  funiture

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to improve: (a) the knowledge of entrepreneurship ineducational  media· production,   (b)  technical   skill  in  education  media  production,  (c) entrepreneurial motivation, and (d) to develop collaborative networking with small industry in educational media production.The  internship  program  conducted  through  experiental  learning.  In  this  programstudents involved in the real process of media production and entrepreneurship. There are from activities: (a) Preparation. This activity is intended to give information about the process of entrepreneurship and educational media production, (b) Internship. In this activity students involve and learn the real process of entrepreneurship and production of educational media. (c) Evaluation. This activity is intended to evaluate the process and result of the program.The result of this program are: (a) 90% of students motivated to involve in industry of educational media, (b) 100% of students is able to make design of educational media in which each of them have one design, (c) The industry want expand and continue of the program in the next time, d) The lecturer know more about the real learning and model of teaching.Key words: educational media, and enterpreneurship internship.

Abstract

Program  of  Entrepreneurship  Volunteer  is  aimed  to  prepare  the  graduate  ofJavanese Language  study Program of FBS UNY Yogyakarta to compete in the job field., T,o achieve marketable graduates, the study Program offers cooperation with partners to prepare.the students in writing literary works, managing studios, and literary magazines., .       , ' Process' M  volunteering is perfomed by giving provisions in the partners'  places.Joining students are chosen from Sanggar Sastra Lecture and selected based on talents ang motivations. The indicators of success for each student are making a title for short strory, jagading   lelembut,  and geguritan,   and able to make a planning of studio establishment ang literary magazine.The participants were  16. However, the active persons were  11. After following.volunteering process, there were eight short stories to publish. Moreover, it is better since, there was a short story being published by mass media entitled Dak  Coreng  Mangsi  Abang(Ari Yuliani). Of  some  geguritaris made  by the  students,  almost  all  of  them  can be. published in mass media. There are 15 titles of geguritan recommended to publish, that it can be sent to mass media However, six titles need corrections. Some of the geguritans published in Sempulur   magazine are Sudra,  Sempati    written by Agus Yuana Dirgantara and Sepi witten by Sri Suranti. Then, in the category og jagading lelembut there was seven titles and all of them are proper to publish. In other case, the effort of studio management and literary magazine  establishment  are still  in the  form of proposal  consulted to the partners.Key words:  written  skills, literary  magazine, and  entrepreneurship  volunteer.

Abstract

Skill education to support life skill needs to be encouraged for each educationlevel including non-formal education. This is as done by the children in the BASA Orphanage, Moyudan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. that has pioneered new entrepreneur in the  field of  building  material  production  especially concrete block  (batako).  The problems are: (1) How far is the produced concrete block quality viewed on physical and mechanical characteristics?, and (2) Which category is the produced  concrete block viewed on its shear stress?The research was conducted by field survey and laboratory test especially toobserve the shear stress of the produced concrete block. The research samples were defined as recommended by the SII Number 0284-80. 10 test materials for each test types.  The  physical  characteristic  observation  on  the  produced  concrete  blocks includes the tests of: (1) Water absorption, (2) Water content, (3) Specific weight, (4) Outside  appearance,  and  (5)  Volume  weight.  The  observation  on  mechanicalcharacteristic is focused on the shear stress of the produced concrete blocks. All of the research activities were conducted in shaping location and the Building Materials and Testing Laboratory. The data collecting technique applies method of noting all the field and laboratory test results. The data analysis technique was conducted qualitatively by presenting the mean.The research shows that the produced concrete blocks with the ratio of 1 PC :12 Sand. have the mean values of: (1) Water absorption of 12.97%; (2) Water contentof 9.07%; (3) Specific weight of 2.11 gr/crrr' ; and (4) Outside appearances: right­ angled edges. not defect. and the edge decay of 60% good. Whilst viewed on the mechanical characteristic  especially the  shear  stress. It shows  the  mean value of20.155 kg/cnr', classified as Al quality.Key words:  new entrepreneur,   building  materials,  and orphanage

Abstract

This  program  is  aimed  at  givmg   the  students  knowledge  and  practical  skills through  screen  printing   training   in   skill   education  subject   in   special  education department.   The objectives 6:f'the"program  are (1)  The students know about screen printing knowledge and theotY,'«~) -Have screen printing practical  skills from setting, making klise, copying up to printing on the paper, plastic fabric, and solid matter, (3) Master in management and marketing, and (4) able to arrange a proposal for printing entrepreneurship.The methods  of this program are: (l)   Speech, giving information about screen printing knowledge and prospect, future chance, (2) Demonstrating the steps of screen printing from setting up to making the product, (3) Giving task, the students apply the screen printing knowledge they  have  from  setting up to  the  printing  on the  various printing product, and (4) Discussion, discussing about the students difficulties in screen printing.The products outcomes of this program are: (1) Paper yields cards, calendars, small boxes, invitations cards, stickers, (2) Cloth yields T-shirt, flag, banners, headbands, and syals, (3) Plastic yields, stickers, plastic bags, stopmaps, labels, and (4) Solid matters yield souvenir, name plate, souvenir (the hung key). .Key words:    entrepreneurship,   and  screen  printing  training.

Abstract

The objectives  of  this  program  :  (l)To     provide  the  knowledge,  skill  and experience in the tourism business, theoritically and practically; (2) To provide knC}'."fl~ggesk, ill  and  practice  to  the  studens  about  the  Indonesian  Culture  Historry Tourism; (3) To push ahead and to motive the students to be a new businessmen m the field of tourism; (4) To create the partnership between University with the middle and small business, especially business in the field of.the tourism, (5) To push the acceleation of the Indonesian Economic Recovery through developing the new businessmen, and (6) This program is expected to  be embryo for the' birth of study pro~ram of tourisn  in Yogyakarta State University. As for target of the aoutput of the activity of apprentice to business in filed of tourism as the following: (1) Minimally %0 % from the participants of appretice will be ready to be a new businessmen in thefield tourism service, especially management and torism amnagning, touris guide, journey tourism guide, avalilabillity for Inodnonesian history arid culture tourism package; (2) Minimally 50 % from the partisipants  of apprentice will be ready to prudoce the proposal of e new businessmen in the filed tourism, especially manageme~t for. tourism managening, t?ursmguide, journey tounsm  guide, availability of   Indonesian histony  and culutre tounsm  packade. (#) To create partnership between University with small and midle business, especially business in the filed of tourism; (4).  Apprentice participants and guidance lekturer can increase their knowledge and skill, especially work skill and practical knowledge. While the side of partner can increase management and marketing.The pattern of apprentice program realization is brougtht aout the following : selecting the participants, providing, transferring the knowledge skill and experience from tourism industry service to the  apprentice and apprentice participant  students making proposal for building a new business in the field of tourism, both for domestic tourst service and a foreign tourist  service. This new business can be pioneered in business service.  For the first stage they can cooperate with the side of the pertnerts who are in Yogyakarta or the other,place ..'            The apprentice program realization which as gone on for ane month, is followed11 students.   There' isno significant obstacle for the apprentice realization in the field. From the 11 apprentice participants, there are 4 student who have the best achievement and then have being taken as a freelance personnel by the partner side.  For next plan the team of apprentice is expected to be able to open the tour and travel bussines in thecampus, and as the  first  step,  it  is included in INWUB program  which has  been in presence.Key words    :  apprentice, and enterpreneurship

Abstract

Program   intention   of   this   activity,    which   named      job   trammg.  on~:::rrepreneurship,is giving the partical experience stock in the form of knowledge,skill, also motivation  and attitude  objectively, to  all  student as participant while aving a job training, doing together-the performance totally in the field of ceramic decorated industry.Further is also expected, that the participant will be able to apply the values of entrepreneurship, to be a benefit to the student after finishing their lecture in a period to coming.                                                                                      -Method and execition pattern used in this job training's  activity is, within the theory of stock purchasing, conception about entrepreneurship, and the management of medium small enterprise, and also direct pratice in industry.,          Result of this activity execution is inferential as follows. All of the participant from this job training on entrepreneurship have done the following activities. a) Stock phase in purchasing  which located in campus; b) Practising  of preproduce phase directly, in the from of ceramic raw material processing, namely clay; c) Practising the production, which consists of these activities : design making, making of product printing;  mould,  ceramic  products  making  by  various  techniques,  practising  in draining and  will  product,  and  also  finishing  product  by various  techniques,  d) Practice or application   the experince on postproduction   phase, which consists as follow; study of the warehousing,  naking of packing product, and management of show room; and e) The study of managing an enterprise and making of new proposal which aims to effort a new enterprise.Key words:   training,  production,  and finishing ceramic.
