Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of workload and job stress on employee performance at CV. Pilar Emas Jember. This research was conducted using a quantitative research method and collected data through a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 53 employees, which were part of the total population of 62 employees at CV. Pilar Emas. The sampling technique used in this research was proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrument testing was conducted using validity and reliability tests. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses regarding the influence of workload and job stress on employee performance, and the results indicated that workload and job stress have a significant influence on employee performance at CV. Pilar Emas.

Abstract

Beggars have become the main problem in various regions, especially in urban slum areas due to the poverty conditions in their environment. One of the villages located in the Talangsari area in the Jember Kidul Village, which is often stigmatized by the local community by the nickname "Beggar's Village" because many of its children beg. This moved one of the village's local leaders to carry out a strategy to empower village children through the Singo Gendeng Community. This community was established as a forum for educating traditional arts that were developed such as jaranan art, reog and so on with the aim that the habit of begging in children can be reduced and replaced with creativity and artistic skills. This research approach is qualitative with the type of research used is a case study. The technique of determining the informants and research locations is purposive. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate a strategy carried out by local leaders through the Singo Gendeng Community in an effort to empower children to beg by fostering children's interest in art so that children are interested in participating in art activities. Besides that, it also cultivates potential and develops artistic talent in children through dance training activities, practicing playing musical instruments, performing and making crafts, so that their skills grow well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process innovation of integrated population documents at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Sumenep Regency. The Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Sumenep Regency, as the implementing element of population administration services, still faces several problems due to the lengthy process of providing services. Therefore, Disdukcapil made an improvement by launching an integrated population document service innovation. This innovation brings new work processes or service procedures to make it easier and faster. This study aims to describe the innovation of integrated population document services at Disdukcapil, Sumenep Regency. The type of research used is the paradigm post-positivism with a qualitative approach. The data analysis used is interactive model data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the process innovation in the integrated population document service launched by the Sumenep Regency Disdukcapil is still not fully optimal, but there has been a renewal in the process innovation launched, as seen from the simplification of the service process offline and also the availability of servicesonline. It’s just that, in its implementation it still encounters several obstacles, including the service process in person online provided is still not able to be used properly by the island community because access to the internet network is still difficult to reach. In addition, there were complaints regarding the attitude of employees who were still considered unfriendly and lacking in discipline which contributed to suboptimal community satisfaction.

Abstract

The 'Grandmother School' community is a place for the elderly to get education and actualize it. Elderly people are one of the most vulnerable groups in society and tend to experience discrimination, stereotypes, and social exclusion due to their aging condition. The presence of this community has an impact on increasing the capacity of elderly members of the community. Opportunities to actualize and re-learn that are accommodated by the community enable them to fight against various social constructions that undermine their potential. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is collected, it is presented descriptively and analyzed based on the data analysis method described by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) to draw conclusions. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the capacity building of the elderly through the 'Grandmother School' community in Sumberlesung Village, Ledokombo District, Jember Regency. Abstract

Singapore has renewed its Formula 1 Grand Prix contract in 2022 even though it has not benefited from the racing event for two years due to pandemic of Covid-19. This study aims to find out Singapore's reasons for extending the contract of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2022. This research uses qualitative methods. The theory of liberalism is used in this study to find out and understand Singapore's reasons for extending the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix contract. The result of this study is the Formula 1 Grand Prix Extention by Singapore is a form of the country’s nation branding efforts. Nation branding carried out by Singapore through the Formula 1 Grand Prix is divided into six aspects, namely tourism, cultural heritage, government, community, exports and investment. The success of nation branding in this event is the increase of country's image which is marked by the increase in foreign tourist visits to Singapore.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the recruitment process carried out by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP 9 in Jember in order to meet the need for manpower. The method used is descriptive qualitative research by observing, interviewing, and direct documentation. The results of this study indicate that the recruitment process of PT. KAI is carried out by following the company's Workload globally. Recruitment conducted by PT. KAI is a process of fulfilling the need for workers in each branch office. Thus, in practice it does not prioritize the needs of each but prioritizes the needs of PT. Indonesian Railways as a whole. The implementation policy is carried out based on the results of the head office's considerations and decisions to obtain workers according to the existing qualifications and apply the same in each branch.

Abstract

LKSA Al- Firdaus is an institution that provides substitute services for parents in meeting the needs of children who have an underprivileged background, do not have a complete family, neglected children and delinquent children. Referring to the conditions on the ground that all foster children do not live in the Al-Firdaus orphanage. Apart from that, regarding the physical condition of the children who looked healthy, contained even though they came from underprivileged families. This study aims to describe the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA AlFirdaus. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The informant determination technique uses purposive. Data collection techniques using non- participatory observation, semi- structured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing/ verification. In addition, the researcher used method and source triangulation techniques. The results of this study describe the form of meeting the needs provided by LKSA to their foster children. The conclusion is that the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA Al- firdaus is in the form of (1) fulfilling physiological needs which include fulfilling clothing, food, health, and education (2) meeting security and safety needs (3) meeting social needs (4) meeting social needs appreciation (5) fulfillment
