Abstract

This study aims to determine:(1) the level of inventories of cassava as raw materials to minimize the cost of inventory on cassava chips agro-industry in Bondowoso, (2) the level of re-ordering (reorder point) cassava chips and cassava in the agro-industry in Bondowoso, and (3) development strategy of cassava chips agro-industry in the Bondowoso regency. Area the study determined intentionally (purposive method) in the Bondowoso regency. The type of data used primary data and secondary data. Methods of data analysis using EOQ analysis, ROP, and SWOT. The results showed that: (1) the level of inventories cassava as raw materials in cassava chips agro-industry domestic scale and small scale uneconomical. EOQ on agro-scale cassava chips households amounted to 181.2 kg. EOQ on agro-industry small-scale cassava chips amounted to 279.4 kg, (2) Level of reordering cassava or Reorder Point (ROP) agro-industry domestic scale cassava chips is by 64 kg and the booking rate back raw materials or Reorder Point (ROP) on agro-industry small-scale cassava chips is equal to 320 kg. Scale agro-industries and small-scale household has a level reordering (ROP) is equal to the amount of the initial booking, each of which is 64 kg and 320 kg so it is said to have shortage of cassava as raw material, (3) agro-industry development strategy for cassava chips in the regency (strategy SO) as follows: (a) Cassava chips agro-industry domestic scale: Increase productivity and maintain existing markets, (b) Cassava chips agro-industry small scale: Maintaining existing markets, expand market reach and increase productivity.

Abstract

Sumberpinang Village, Pakusari Subdistrict is one of the producers of Kasturi tobacco in District of Jember.. Kasturi tobacco is a contributor to one of the country's foreign exchange in the plantation sector and cultivated by farmers in Jember. This study aims to determine (1) The differences in the revenue of farmers who sell “tebasan, setengah kering/kerosok, untingan”, (2) The market performance Kasturi tobacco, (3) The level of equity of market participants of Kasturi tobacco. Determination of the study area is done intentionally (purposive method) i.e. Sumberpinang. Methods Descriptive, comparative, and analytical method is the method used in conducting this research. The method of analysis used is the analysis of farmers' revenue, followed by one-way ANOVA test, analysis of marketing margins, efficiency of marketing, price transmission elasticity, share profits and costs and chi-square distribution analysis. The research states that (1) There are differences in the revenue of farmers in all three of Kasturi tobacco sales, (2) Marketing of Kasturi tobacco at Sumberpinang is not efficient (3) Average percentage of profits is not same with the average percentage of costs for each marketing agencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the consumer’s attitudes toward layer feeds of three different brands. Data collected from 56 layer breeder in Jember. The respondents were asked to evaluate ten attributes of the products on a 5 point scale, based on Multiatribute Fishbein of The Attitude-Toward-Object Model. The result showed that the six of ten atributes of the product were evaluated to be important. Consumer’s most concerned with the availability of the product in the selection of a product. The Fishbein attitude score for Japfa Comfeed was higher than Charoen Pokhpand and Sierrad, Charoen Pokhpand was higher than Sierrad, indicating that respondents were more favorable toward Japfa Comfeed.

Abstract

Based on the data from Department of Fisheries Tulungagung shows that the production of fancy goldfish at Tulungagung in 2014 (to the third quarter) has decreased up. This study aims to determine: (1) the management of fancy goldfish breeding (2)What are the factors that affect the revenue (3) business development strategies of fancy goldfish breeding? The determination of the research at Wajak Lor village, Boyolangu, Tulungagung. The method used is descriptive analysis method. The sampling method, it was done by taking the sample using simple random sampling and purposive sampling. This research used primary and secondary data. Methods of data analysis used descriptive analysis, multiple regression and force field analysis. The results showed: (1) the management of the fancy goldfish breeding by experience , (2) cost of the feed and the seed that negatively affect the revenue, on the contrary, the volume of the pond, production and the selling price positively affect, the labor costs do not significantly affect, (3) business development strategies of fancy goldfish breeding by improving the product quality of fancy goldfish breeding, and by cooperating with the government to know the weather predictions in the future and about good breeding from Department of Fisheries Tulungagung.

Abstract

Indonesia is the producer of pepper number two in the world after Vietnam. Pepper is one of the leading commodity that has a major role as source of foreign exchange, the source of farmer’s income, and job creation. The high demand on the international market is an opportunity for the development of pepper pepper. In Indonesia, Bangka Belitung Province is a major producer of white pepper which one is the producing regions of District of Bangka Tengah. The development effort pepper plants must be based on land suitability evaluation for optimal production. Moreover, analyzing the feasibility of farming of pepper, analyze marketing margins in the marketing system of white pepper, and arrange referrals pepper plantation development is needed to guide policy makers in Central Bangka Regency. Pepper development requires commitment and effort which is based on plantation development policies implemented proportionately and professionally.

Abstract

Red chili is a vegetable commodity that is much needed, not only domestic needs but also abroad. District of Tempurejo Wonoasri Village area is an area where there is a group of farmers who namely farmers partnership and not partnership. The goal of study are: (1) Examines the factors which to base decisions for partnership and not partnership farmer. (2) Examines the income disparities for partnership and not partnership farmer. (3) Examines the factors that effect a level of income for partnership and not partnership farmer. The method used descriptive analysis method and comparative analysis method. This research used primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used priority setting analysis, income approach, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of study shows that: (1) The order of priority factors for partnership farmers are: Indemnity risk; Capital guarantee; Market; Availability of fertilizer; The cultivation technical guidance; Post-harvest technical guidance; Government involvement; Planting certain varieties; and The openness of the employers. The order of priority factors that farmers do not partner are: The openness of the employers; Planting certain varieties; Government involvement; Availability of fertilizer; Post-harvest technical guidance; The cultivation technical guidance; Capital guarantee; Indemnity risk; and Market. (2) Average income of non-partner farmers and growers partners on red chili farming in the village Wonoasri is not significantly different, (3) factors that affect farmers' income levels are partnership and partnership is a production, the cost of soil lease, and farmers' membership status.

Abstract

Gracia Farm is a company which produces eggs of layer chicken in Timor- Leste. This study aims to determine: marketing channels of eggs that are applied by the Company Gracia Farm Timor-Leste; marketing margin of eggs in the Company Gracia Farm Timor-Leste; and the prospects of development of eggs in the Company Gracia Farm Timor-Leste. Determination of the study area is done intentionally (purposive method) i.e. Ermera District of Timor-Leste. The research method is used descriptive and analytical methods. The sample in this research is used snowball sampling. The analysis is used Margin Marketing and SWOT analysis. The results of research show there are three marketing channels of chicken eggs in Gracia Farm are marketing channel I (Company Gracia Farm-Distributor-Wholesalers- Consumer), marketing channel 2 (Company Gracia Farm-Distributor- Retailer-Consumer Trader) and marketing channel 3 (Gracia Farm Company-Distributors-Wholesalers-Retailers-Consumers Traders). Margin marketing of eggs in Gracia Farm Timor-Leste on the three marketing channels are Rp 6.618 / kg (marketing channel I), Rp 8.997 / kg (marketing channel 2), and Rp 9.119 / kg (marketing channel 3), Prospects for the development of eggs (laying) in company Gracia Farm located at the position of White area which means that eggs (laying) both to be developed .
