Abstract

The decision making process of information technology adoption is affected byinformation technology (IT) characteristics. The purpose of this research is examineeffect IT characteristics (relative advantage, relevance, complexity and perceived cost)A survey was conducted in Yogyakarta city by purposive sampling technique.The samples that are used to data analysing are 102 small business. Partial LeastSquares method was used to examine five research hypotheses. Research instrumensvalidity was measured by convergent validity and discriminant validity. Instrumentreliability was measured by cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability.This research shows that relative advantage, complexity and perceived costhave significantly effect to small businesses decision to adopt IT. On the other, relevancenot effect to small businesses decision to adopt IT. This study contributes to insight thatIT adoption is affected by relative advantage of IT, level of IT complexity and perceivedcost of IT investment.Key words: adoption, information technology, small businesses, technological inovation

Abstract

The government and private had unable to fullfill the demand of simly house inSemarang that compare with the increasing of population. This condition impact to thecitizens of Semarang City as the consumers, they can not buy a simply house.This reasearch focused on analysis factors that influence toward the demand of thesimply house in Semarang City. Analysis with multiple linear regression used in thisresearch.The result shows that simply house price, consumer income, credit interest rate, renthouse price and location distance were influenced toward the demand of simply house.Keywords: demand, elasticity, price, interest rate

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analize the eastern little tuna market betweenPekalongan with Jakarta. The result shows that known by natural by loss of Trader inPekalongan because lack of market information, especially the problem of volume akind of fish which step into fish market in Jakarta. Trader in Pekalongan better optimalof market information which the was obtaining of in decision making of purchasing akind of fish. This Information Optimalisation is done by Trader in Pekalongan do notonly getting market information of trader of commissioner of Jakarta and just guard,but can is also obtained to pass trader of other area. Lack of the market informationseen at index of market between market a kind of fish in Pekalongan with Jakartawhich is his value > 1 ( 13,75). Abstract

This study tried toconduct a study such as testing whether Wagner's Law applies in the Indonesian economy. The study is divided into the study at the central and provincial governments. Wagner Law be interesting tostudy, since there are many variations of the specifications used in previous studies and there varaisi finding whether the law is valid or not in a country. Most of the studies conducted in developed countries, and yet manystudies conducted in developing countries. Therefore, it is interesting to conduct a study for the case of developing countries like Indonesia. The study concluded that Wagner's Law applies partially at the level of thecentral government and the provincial government. There are limitations to the data series has a perfect causality test can not be met. The study concluded that in the case of routine expenditure and developmentexpenditure, Wagner laws apply as predicted, that the increase in government spending to respond to an increase in income per capita.Key words: Wagner law, government spending, income per capita, Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Kweka and Morissey Model in explaining the economic growth in CentralJava province. The Kweka and Morissey Model shows variables influencing the economic growth are privatesektor investment, government investment, government expenses, labour and economic openness. This researchemployed secondary data published by Biro Pusat Statistik (Statistic Centre Bureau) and Bank Indonesia(Indonesian Bank). They were annual data from 1985 to 2009. This research used Ordinary Least Square (OLS)regression with Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The selection of ECM model was due to its capabilityto explain short term and long term phenomena. The result showed that variable of private sektor investmentinfluent positively and significantly in both short and long term. Government investment variable influentsignificantly in both short and long term and its influence towards economic growth was positive. Governmentexpenditure variable investment influent positively and significantly in both short and long term. Meanwhile,labor variable investment influents positively in the long term but it did not influents significantly in both shortand long term. For economic openness variable the value of coefficient regression of short and long term waspositive and significant.Key words: economic growth, private sektor investment, government investment, government expenditure,labour

Abstract

International trade has developed very rapidly in recent years. In fact, Indonesia' export reaches US$ 11,8million in August 2010, especially from non oil export. That's the highest during the Indonesia's trade.Agroindustry sector can be the alternative to open the opportunities of efficient market. That's refers toachievement the economics of scale, due to using the local raw materials. Based on that, this research aimed toidentified the competitiveness of agroindustry's commodities. The data taken from the Standard Classification ofIndonesian Business Field (KBLI) in the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2009 and the Standard InternationalTrade Classification (SITC) 3 Digits from Comtrade, United Nations during 2005- 2009. Competitivenessperformance measured by the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), and the Revealed SymmetricComparative Advantage (RSCA). The result showed 3 commodities, namely 'non soft' vegetable oils (SITC 422),natural rubber (SITC 231) and cocoa (SITC 072), that have the highest index of RCA and RSCA continouslyduring 2005-2008. Other outcomes indicates the decline of commodities that have Indonesia's market share isbigger than the world's market share. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Non Performing Financing of Sharia Banks in Indonesia. Thisresearch is important to do because of bad credit has a very high fluctuation. As for some of the factorsanalyzed in the influence of Non Performing Financing is: Gross Domestic Product, Inflation, Exchange Rates,policy type of financing Islamic banks as well as the allocation ratio murabaha receivables rather than theallocation of profit loss sharing financing (RF).The population in this study were all Islamic Banks in Indonesia.The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which is a sampling method based on multiple criteria,namely: a). Islamic Banks which publish quarterly financial statements during the period 2005-2011. b). IslamicCommercial Bank which has a complete data based on the variables studied. Data analysis methods used in thisstudy is an analysis of Multiple Linear Regression. These results indicated that the growth of real GDP and theexchange rate of rupiah against the dollar had a positive impact on the Non-Performing Financing but notsignificant; inflation has a negative impact to Non Performing Financing and significant; profit and loss sharingratio of return on total return of financing (RR ) has a negative effect on the Non-Performing Financing, but notsignificant. Murabaha financing allocation ratio to the allocation of profit loss sharing financing and asignificant negative effect on Non Performing Financing.Key words: non performing financing, GDP, kurs, inflation, total return to financing.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether Economic Value Added (EVA) and cash flow ratios can differentiatebetween healthy-performing companies with unhealthy performing companies in manufacturing companieslisted in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this study indicates that EVA and cash flow ratios candifferentiate significantly between companies with sound financial performance that is not healthy atmanufacturing companies listed in the Stock Exchange. This can be seen from Wilk's Lamda value of 0.901 asindicated by the Chi-square value of 37.306 and has a significance level of alpha 0000 below 5%. It means thatthe model is statistically significant. Hence, it is concluded that the average performance of a healthy orunhealthy performing companies and this model can be utilized to predict the company's financial performance.Key words : financial performance, ratio cash flow, Economic Value Added

Abstract

This study has the objective to answer the research question how the position of Corporate Social Responsibilityfrom the strategy perspective by HOLCIM. Object of study is the text of Corporate Sustainable DevelopmentReport, published by HOLCIM in 2008- 2009. This study used a qualitative approach in which, the reviewconducted by multipers pective problems or multipoint of view. Phenomenology was chosen with the aim of thestudy of the phenomenon. The results obtained in this study that the Corporate Social Responsibility is aprogram that embedded with corporate strategy. Position of Corporate Social Responsibility as a shift from justa charity effort into a mindset that must be developed by the company. Based on the research Linda & Jenny(2008) developed the mindset that the 2009 Sustainable Development Report categorized as an alternative thatsupports the value of the company in corporate strategy development phase. Hope is to be achieved related tothe recognition of the legitimacy of the activities carried out under achieving not only economic, but also socialand environmental compliance objectives aimed at continuity of the company as well as providing a positiveimpact in the form of a better life for the community. It was an effort to take into account the company's presencein this community stakeholders around because stakeholders have the power to influence survival.Key words: phenomenology, corporate social responsibility, corporate strategy

Abstract

Customer loyalty is considered by many service providers as an important source of competitive advantage.Enhanced cuatomer loyalty in service firms will lead to greater profitability. The objective of this research is toexamine the effect of image of traditional food and service recovery on the effect on customer satisfaction andcustomer loyalty. Research involved 100 customers. By measuring criterion validity and reliability of image andservice recovery, it found that both of them have a good validity and reliability for measuring the customersatisfaction and cuatomer loyalty. By using path analysis, the result revealed that image, service recovery andcustomer satisfaction have direct significantly effects on customer loyalty. The managerial implication of thisresearch is that management of restaurant should build their image, implement service recovery programconsistanly and create customer satisfaction to miantan their customer.Key words: image , service recovery, satisfaction, loyalty
