Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This paperhas objectives firstly, to explore the use of information and communication technology in accounting learning by vocational high schools used by vocational high schools teachers in Semarang City. The result showed that there were three ICT which mostly used by the accounting teacher. They were spreadsheet software like MS Excel to save grad, notes, etc, etc., computer laboratory based on learning, and word software like MS Word. Meanwhile, the most rarely ICT used by them were teleconference based on learning, online discussion with colleges and data analysis software like SPSS program. The complementary result showed that there was no significant  difference of ICT used by them were teleconference based on learning, online discussion with colleges and data analysis software like SPSS program. The complementary result showed that there was no significant difference of ICT used by teachers based on gender and teacher certification. This research suggests the decision makers to improve the intensity and quality of ICT in accounting learning process. Thus; it is expected that the further research can explain the determinant use of ICT

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the class assessment from many aspects; aspect and technique of class assessment, procedure of class assessment, they way to determine the students’ score rank, and the opinions of teachers, the principal, students about the practice of class assessment. The research is an evaluation research with a formative model. The subjects of this study were 3 teachers, 1 principal and 146 students of Office administration department. The data were collected with questionnaire, documentation and interview. The result showed that (1) aspect and technique of class assessment conducted by the teacher, based on students’ opinion was on poor category, based on the teachers’ opinion was on good category and based on the principal’s opinion was on very good category. Therefore, it was on good category, (2) assessment aspects conducted by the teachers were only cognitive and psychometric aspects; while affective aspect has not conducted yet. Thus, it was not comprehensive assessment, (3)the techniques of assessment used by the teachers were written test, oral test, practice, observation and task, however, portfolio assessment, journal, self-assessment and peer- assessment have not conducted yet in this subject, (4) the procedure of assessment based on students was poor, meanwhile the teachers and principal said it was good. (5) procedure of assessment conducted by the teachers did not fulfill the standard as stated in Panduan Penilaian Mata Pelajaran Produktif (The Assessment Guidance of Productive Subject) by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP), (6) determining students’ end score is by combining students’ daily test, mid test, midterm test and final test and then divided into three, while all tasks are only the supporting score, and (7) the principal, the teachers and students expect the class assessment in still conducted since it gives benefit and improve students’ development significantly in education world.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to know the effectiveness of contextual teaching and learning in economics subjet in SMA (senior high school) in achieving the standard of competency based on curriculum 2006. This research used quesi experiment research with randomized control group only. The result showed that contextual teaching and learning in Economics subject in SMA N 11 Semarang was very effectiveness in achieving the standard of competency based on curriculum 2006. The suggestions are: (1) it is needed a more comtrhensive study by using action research through cycling pattern so the percentage of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is found. (2) it is needed a preparation for teachers so they are ready to improve and innovate the way of teaching, (3) the implementation of CTL in groups can be tried in a bigger scope to support the implementation of KTSP (4) if three are students’ tasks of activities which do outside or at home, so teacher’s monitoring is needed, (5) it is needed to add individual tasks to decrease students’ dependence on their groups.

Abstract

The study was based on the real lecture of public sector accounting especially accounting for SKPKD process. During the lecture, most of the students did not participate actively. They did not show their self awareness in learning. Based on reality above, it is needed to know whether the collaborative learning model can improve students’ self awareness in learning or not. Thus, the objective of this study is to get the description of the teaching experience by applying the collaborative laerning model to improve students’ capability. This study is a pre-experiment study. The subjects of this study are four classes: two classes are the experimental groups with collaborative learning model as the treatment ant the rest two classes as the control group with conventional model learning. The participants are the sixth semester students of Accounting Department, Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. The sample t-test were used to analyze the data. The result of this study showed that the use of collaborative learning model can improve the students’ self awareness in learning because they were free to decide their own learning objectives and sources. All students in experimental groups were active in decision making.

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to know and analyze the planning, the teaching-learning process and the assessment in SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The significances of this study are firstly, as a means to improve knowledge and technology especially about learning management for educational institutions, secondly, as an input for schools about learning management so the learning objectives can be conducted effectively and efficiently, thirdly as an input for related institutions, especially about learning management so the result of the study can be experienced by the society directly. This research used qualitative approach since it was a descriptive qualitative study. The techniques for collecting the data were interview, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and concluding. And then triangulation was done to get the valid data. The result showed that before teaching, the teachers discuss together about planning until assessment under the control of the principal; next, the preparation by a techer including preparing the materials and media, until designing the method of teaching. After that, the teching-learning process which involves three activities; warming-up activity, main activities and cooling-down activity. And finally, the ssessment which is done during the teacjing-learning process and after learning in the form of students learning result. Moreover, for student who face difficulties in learning, the teacher gives remedial opportunity so their result can finally achieve Criteria of Minimal Score (kriteria ketuntasan minimal/KKM).

Abstract

Accounting lesson is considered as a difficult lesson by most students in SMK/SMA. It is even sometimes worse with the less ability of accounting teachers to select learning methods thatcan attract students’ attention and thought. Therefore, it is necessary to find an alternative learning which can help students to involve in the real situation which is fun and memorable. The learning model which can fulfill the fun situation is the role playing. The steps to implement this model in the learning of accounting cycle for trade firm are to divide students in groups and to give each of them an opportunity to play a role. In practice, each student changers the role weekly based on the order. The model makesstuents easier to understand the basic accounting and leads the teachers evaluate the materials if the lack of conformity occurs during the learning.

Abstract

The change of curriculum from KBK to KTSP expects more autonomous pupils and teachers, so it can improve students’ competency and teachers’ competency in teaching-learning process in the future. Every teachers’s perception, however, makes the implementation of KTSP different among each other because there are diversity in getting information, experiences, and fieldwork. It also occurs in teachers’ attitude because concerning to the KTSP socialization, culture which is various will make various teachers’ attitude toward the implementation of KTSP. So, the teachers’ attitude and perception leads to the different teachers’ readiness in implementation of KTSP. Therefore, this research has an objective to know the effect of teachers’ attitude and perception within implementation of KTSP. The research is conducted in state senior high schools in Biltar Regency on Februari – March 2008 by distributing closed-questionnaire. It uses path analysis with teachers’ attitude and perception as independent variable, while teachers’ readiness as dependent variable. After analyzing the data, the researcher gets correlation score 0.491. it means that the effect of teachers’ percetion and attitude within implementation of KTSP is strong with the percentage of it is 49.1%. it indicates that there are still many factors except those independent variables which influence the teachers’ readiness in implementing the KTSP. In conclusion, teachers’ perception and attitude has strong effect towards teachers’ readiness in implementations of KTSP.

Abstract

This study has objectives to examine empirically the behavior of teachers in accepting the use of e-Learning Ilmo (Learning Increasing Motivation) and ti improve the quality of lectures at Economic Faculty. The respondents of this research were lectures who were the users of e-Learning Ilmo. The data were collected through qustionnaire that was developed based on the construct of the theory of technology acceptance (Davis et al, 1989). The results of hypotheses testing were: (1) The usefulness and ease in using e-Learning Ilmo give positive effect to the lecturers’ interest in using it. (2) the lecturers’ interest in using e-Learning Ilmo gives positive effect which automatically can improve the quality of lectures at Economic Faculty, Unnes. To increase the use of e-Learning Ilmo, it is recommended to (1) make simpler and easier the features of e-Learning in Ilmo, (2) give an e-Learning training intensively and comprehensively for the lecturers. (3) replace some conventional lectures that can not be held as scheduled with E-Learning Ilmo course.
