Abstract

This study aimed to determine the capability of top soil fertility which will becuted from mining area and will be used as main material in land reclamation. This research conducted in term that there will be mining activity in TanjungBaru, Bakong Village, Singkep Barat District, Lingga Regency of Riau Province, with total area 106.62 ha. The mining activity will cut the top soil 5,608,643 m3or equal to 6,730,372 ton of soil. The cutted soil will used to be main material ofland reclamation and become a substrat for revegetation plants. The resultshowed that the capacity of study field soil fertility was categorized as very low tolow. In order to preserve the soil condition, it must be properly stored. Therecommendation from this research is, it needs to re-analysis of soil conditionbefore used to revegetation in order to test the land fertility status, and as thebasic for determine the fertilizer dose that can be applied.

Abstract

The most important hazard problem at Dieng Plateu Region is land slide that giveintensive risk to the people especially who stay in the low land of the hilly land. Atthe other hand, land degradation happend very intensive and decreasing landfertility. It’s happend because of land erotion and over intensive using ofchemistry product such as chemistry pestiside and fertilizar. That problem ismore seriously because the people do not understand or do not aware about landconservation. Awareness to land conservation have many purpose, in short timecan increasing land degradation, and in long time it’s means investation ineconomic meaning because of the sustainable land. The outcome of conservationawareness is ability to facing risk disaster. This research give the optionalconservation model based on community that have multi purposed, not onlyincreasing land quality but also stronger the community building to facing thedisaster risk.

Abstract

This study have the following objectives: 1. Knowing the threshold value oftourist numbers in temple cultural tourism area according to physical carryingcapacity, 2. Knowing the threshold value of tourist numbers in temple culturaltourism area according to ecological carrying capacity, 3. Knowing the thresholdvalue of tourist numbers limitation in camp area according to physical carryingcapacity, as well as, 4. Knowing the threshold value of tourist numbers in camparea according to ecological carrying capacity. The threshold values calculatedby the Douglas method (1975) in Fandeli (2001). The results of the thresholdvalues calculation are as follows: 1. The threshold value of tourist numbers incultural tourism area according to physical carrying capacity is 514 people /acres, 2. threshold value of tourist numbers in cultural tourism area according toecological carrying capacity is 9,374 people / acres, 3. threshold value of touristnumbers in camp area according to physical carrying capacity is 3 persons /acres, and 4. threshold value tourist numbers in camp area according toecological carrying capacity is 40 people / acres.

Abstract

Banyumas highly vulnerable to landslides. These conditions require researchonlandslide risk levels. Geographical information about the landslides risk is veryimportant to reduce the disaster vulnerability level. Spatial presentation ofdisaster will be very useful to society because it can be used to identify disasterproneareas. Pekuncen subdistricts in Banyumas have relief with a heightbetween 500 meters to 1200 meters above sea level. Slope is dominated bymedium to steep (8% - 25%). The highest rainfall average is 221 mm, with anannual rainfall of 2,648 mm height and number of rainy days 266 days. Based onthese data it appears that the region is prone to landslides. The method used isdescriptive quantitative analysis with spatial analysis using ArcGIS to analyzephysical and social parameters so that the result of the landslides level of dangerand landslide risk level can be used as reference in disaster mitigation efforts inthe district of Pekuncen, Banyumas Regency.

Abstract

Geomorphology object study is land form which composed in earth surfaceweither in the land or in the bottom of the sea. Geomorphological condition of aregion is a natural resource. A part of it is land resource. Land resource optimalutilization is a must to get an optimal result. Using remote sensing image, it couldbe analyze the connection of land form. The aim of this research was to analyzeland form of fluvial process in Karangsambung area using satellite imagery. Thisresearch’s result showed that land sub-form of fluvial process consist of fivekinds, i.e.: inundation land, meander river, woven river, pothole, point bar anddead river.

Abstract

In flight operation, there are three popular term which are take off, cruising andlanding. Within flight safety, landing is the most crusial phase, one ofmeteorology factor which has intensive effect is runway surface wind. A researchabout wind data analysis is used for determining existence pattern. In DepatiAmir Airport, Pangkalpinang conducted a research of wind data analysis to showrunway surface wind pattern in order to reduce flight accident potential. Theresearch’s result which analyzed used wind rose method and data range between2000 to 2012, showed that the dominant surface wind of Depati Amir Airportalmost during a year flew from 135 to 1650 (South-East) with 1 - 4 knotacceleration. Although, in November until April various wind is high. Beside that, from the morning to afternoon, the dominant surface wind flew from East andfrom afternoon to night the surface wind flew from South-East.

Abstract

This study aims to assessing changes in watershed vegetation density in multitemporalBodri (1992-2009) with remote sensing satellite imagery. This researchis descriptive-eksplanatory. Research variables include changes in vegetationdensity on the watershed Bodri (1992-2009). The results showed that thevegetation density of Bodri watershed began in 1992, 2002, and 2009 may changerelatively dynamic and each category is different. Tightly categories grew wide, otherwise meeting the more narrow category. This indicates that reforestation bedone in the upstream watershed Bodri progressing well.

Abstract

Study process could be say success if could improve student result from cognitive, psicomotoric and affective aspect. The aims of this study were: 1) Improvingactivity in Action Class; 2) Creating study process based on active student. Thisresearch consist of three cycles, and each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Result showed that in cycle I, innovative action fromthe teacher in Action Class could improve until more than 22%, which showed byresponse from 2 out of 9 exist activity indicators. In cycle II, student’s activityincrease 16,7% from cycle I or with other word, cycle II activity was more than86%. The significant improvement (more than 97%) or increase more than 27,8%got from cycle III. Based on research’s result, it could be confirmed that byinnovative action from the teacher between Action Class and Parallel Class, therewere no different in study activity of hydrosfer and its impact to daily life. Theconclusion said that each cycle improvement more than 33% got from innovativeaction of the teacher.

Abstract

Garang watershed is one of critical watershed with first priority treatment. Thedamage of Garang watershed have caused environment problem in SemarangCity become more complex. Natural limit of Garang watershed which lay onbetween Semarang Regency, Kendal Regency and Semarang City, need integrityin it’s management. This research aimed to assess the integrity level of Garangwatershed management and formulate strategy to improve it. This is descriptiveresearch with qualitative and quantitative approach which focused on integritymanagement function of Garang watershed. The aspects which assessed wereplanning integrity, organization, action and control. While strategy analysisusing AHP. The result showed that the integrity level of Garang watershedmanagement was still low, so it need a strategy to improve it. The prioritystrategy which can be used are arrangement of integrity planning management, organizing watershed limit with administrative area, and clearly separation offunction from each stakeholder in Garang watershed management.
