Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja pelayanan aparatur kepolisian pada bagian pengurusan Surat Ijin Mengemudi di Wilayah Kerja Kepolisian Negara Repu¬blik Indonesia Resort Sleman Polda DIY dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja pelayanan terhadap terhadap kepuasan masyarakat yang sedang mengurus surat ijin mengemudi. Dari hasil penelitian baik analisis deskriptif maupun analisis kuantitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kinerja kualitas pelayanan Aparatur Kepolisian di Unit Pelayanan Surat Ijin Mengemudi di Polres Sleman sudah sesuai dan bahkan melebihi harapan masyarakat.

Morinda House untuk medeskripsikan proses penerapan audit pemasaran dengan metode Competitive Audit berdasarkan kerangka kerja Strategic Marketing Plus 2000. Hasil dari analisis audit ini dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan sebagai dasar untuk memodifikasi strategi dan taktik pemasarannya serta meningkatkan nilai perusahaan sehingga mampu beradaptasi dengan segala perubahan lingkungan bisnis.Kata Kunci: Audit pemasaran, Strategic Marketing Plus 2000

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji penerapan manajemen laba pada perusahaan yang mela¬kukan penawaran perdana, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kewenangan (discretionary) pi¬hak manajemen untuk mengatur tingkat keuntungan yang dilaporkan dalam laporan keua¬ngan. Dari hasil penghitungan, pengujian dan pembahasan secara keseluruhan, bukti yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini mendukung adanya penerapan manajemen laba pada periode-periode pelaporan keuangan sebelum penawaran perdana saham. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada periode-periode sebelum dan pada saat penawaran perdana saham, teridentifi¬kasi adanya penerapan manajemen dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan.Kata Kunci:    Manajemen Laba, Discretionary Accruals, Arus Kas, Laba Bersih, dan Pena¬waran Perdana

Abstract

The study was conducted to measure the effectiveness of using two tools of technical analysis, namely the Stochastic Oscillator and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) in 10 stocks of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in Indonesia Stock Exchange within three years, 2008, 2009, and of 2010. The conclusions are that in that year, the use of the Stochastic Oscillator generates signals true on average for every 47.1 times as many shares or 72.76% and false signals as much as 18.3 times, or 27.24%. The use of true MACD signal produced 14.10 times (61.81%), false signal 8.7 times (38.19%). These results indicate that the use of technical analysis tools that can provide a return on stocks JII. It was not statistically proven that the Stochastic Oscillator gives better results than the MACD, or vice versa. Furthermore, although these tools provide benefits, but not proven that these tools can provide abnormal returns for its users. This study also implies that the capital market in Indonesia, especially stocks that meet the criteria of Islamic stock market does not show any efficiency.Keywords: Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), Analisis teknikal, Stochastic Oscillator, Moving Average Convergence-Divergence (MACD).

Abstract

The main aim of this research was to find out how far the influence of the characteristics of budget preparation style was on the cost efficiency of manufacture companies in Jakarta Stock Exchange in the period of 2004. According to a survey of 32 manufacture companies the result of the analysis showed that all variables of the budget preparation characteristics style had significant influences on cost efficiency variables. In partial analysis, however, only two of the five variables i.e. the distinctiveness of the budget goals and budget evaluation had significant influences on the cost efficiency variables.Keywords: budget preparation style, cost efficiency

Abstract

This research tests the effect of insider ownership, market risk, market to book value, size, earning variability, profitability, and growth to the dividend policy represented by dividend pay-out ratio. Main independent variables and control independent variables are employed in this research. The main independent variables consist of insider ownership and market risk. Meanwhile, the control variables consist of market to book value, size, earning variability, profitability, and growth. The analysis of this research proves that the dividend policy does not depend on the amount of the share ownership by insider parties such as managers. Additionally, the dividend policy also does not depend on the market risk. Those mean that the bigger amount of share ownership by insiders and the higher market risk do not cause to the lower dividend payment represented by dividend pay-out ratio.Key words: insider ownership, market risk, market to book value, size, earning variability, profitability, dividend policy, dividend pay-out ratio.

Abstract

Organizations need to form the appropriate human resource management plan¬ning to meet the challenge of the dynamic, competitive, and global organizational environ¬ment. Human resource management planning is the process by which management determines how the organization should move from its current position to the desired position in the fu¬ture competitive realities. Through HR planning, management strives to have the right number and the right kinds of person, at the right places and time for the benefits of both organization and the people. However, the traditional succession planning is not enough and need to be modified. Rather than focusing on the right men at the right time, organizations need to de¬velop strong leadership teams for strategic tasks. Future competitive success requires not only different leadership success model, but also succession system that is feedback-rich, highly flexible, transparent, and that accelerates the development of leaders for the next generation. Abstract

Iklan bertujuan untuk mengenalkan, membujuk, dan mengingatkan pembeli mengenai keberadaan suatu produk dan meningkatkan penjualan. Musik merupakan salah satu unsur periklanan. Penggunaan iklan dengan latar belakang musik akan efektif dalam pengingatan merek dan pesan-pesan yang disampaikan sampai akhirnya konsumen bersedia melakukan pembelian produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklan televisi menggunakan background musik terhadap recall audience. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi variabel recall audience sebagai variabel terikat, variabel jingle iklan, bintang iklan, dan tema iklan sebagai variabel bebas. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Kontribusi seluruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat sebesar 86,3%. Dari hasil perhitungan regresi diketahui bahwa keseluruhan variabel secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap recall audience, tetapi secara parsial hanya variabel jingle iklan yang berpengaruh secara signifikan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa perbedaan perilaku karyawan dan iklim organisasi serta menguji pengaruh perilaku karyawan. terhadap iklim organisasi sebe¬lum dan sesudah restrukturisasi pada Badan Kesatuan dan Perlindungan Masyarakat Pro¬pinsi DlY. Penelitian ini latar belakangi dengan pemberlakuan PP NO: 84/2000 tentang pe¬doman organisasi perangkat daerah yang berakibat pada perubahan struktur kelembagaan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui penye¬baran kuesioner kepada 98 orang karyawan. Dari hasil analisa uji beda rata rata dapat di¬simpulkan bahwa restrukturisasi kelembagaan menghasilkan implikasi selain penurunan iklim organisasi, juga perbedaan yang signifikan perilaku karyawan yang berbentuk ancaman rasa aman, penarikan diri antara sebelum dan sesudah restrukturisasi kelembagaan, serta adanya pe¬ngaruh ancaman rasa aman dan penarikan diri terhadap iklim organisasi yang semakin kuat.Kata Kunci: Restrukturisasi, Kelembagaan, Perilaku Karyawan dan Iklim Oganisasi

Abstract

This research analyzes determinants of corporate dividend policy in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research hypothesizes that four financial ratios, which are dividend yield, ROA (return on assets), leverage and PBV (price-to-book value ratio) are determinants of corporate dividend policy.Samples of 25 firms, which are included in many sectors, are all fulfilling data completeness criteria. Research periods are from 2002 until 2006. A balanced panel data study technique is employed to analyze determinants of corporate dividend policy in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). There are two models to estimate regression model used in this research, that is usual Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression model and the Fixed Effects (FE) or Least Squares Dummy Variable (LSDV) regression model.The study documented that dividend yield, return on assets and leverage have positive effect to dividend payment significantly based on OLS model. Otherwise FE model found dividend yield is the only variable that statistically significant influence dividend payment. The better model to predict determinants of corporate dividend policy is FE model. FE model has higher R-squared value and Durbin-Watson d value than OLS model. In addition, FE model can explain this issue clearly and specifically.Keywords: dividend policy, dividend yield, ROA, leverage, PBV.
