Abstract

This study discussed the role of service quality in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty of The Breezes Bali. Respondents in this study were 91 respondents with the criteria ever stay at The Breezes Bali hotel more than twice, at least 17 years old. Determination of sample using purposive sampling method. This research used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with SmartPLS program. The results showed that: 1) Quality of service had a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, 2) Quality of service had a positive but not significant effect to customer loyalty, 3) Satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty, 4) Customer satisfaction able to be a mediation variable shown by the results of service loyalty analysis is able to influence consumer satisfaction and customer satisfaction influence loyalty. The results of this study imply that the management of The Breezes Bali to improve the quality of services with emphasis on reability by serving customers or customers well. Increased customer satisfaction is more emphasis on improving corporate image by maintaining the good name of The Breezes Hotel Bali. Furthermore, customer loyalty can be improved by word of mouth communication to the customer. With word of mouth communication, customers will give positive information about Hotel the breezes Bali to others.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa thereafter called BUMDesa is a social business institution that provides the needs of the village communities. The Badung Regency Government always tries to encourage the villages in Badung Regency to form a BUMDesa by issuing the legal product of the Badung Regency Regional Regulation Number 1 on 2015 concerning the Establishment and Management of Village-Owned Enterprises. The research method in this study used a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, with a research focus are (1) the importance of the establishment of a BUMDesa in Badung Regency, (2) business opportunities that can be worked on by BUMDesa in Badung Regency and (3 ) the principle of financial management of BUMDesa in accordance with the values ​​of Balinese local genius based on Hinduism. The result of this study is that the existence of a BUMDesa must be in accordance with the laws and regulations and the Badung Regency Regional Regulation which is then regulated by the Village Regulation. Business development carried must be adopt the village's potential and the design of the Badung Regency Spatial Plan. For existence and sustainability, BUMDesa must be implemented Balinese local genius based on Hinduism such Slokantara, Catur Purusha Artha, and Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

UD. Eka Setia Lestari is a business that is engaged in agriculture. The resulting product is an organic vegetable. Currently the change of community life for health is an opportunity for organic vegetable business. Analysis of internal and external environmental conditions is needed to provide an overview of the company's position and find solutions for companies to compete and still exist. Based on the analysis of internal and external environment of UD. Eka Setia Lestari is in an average position. There needs to be improvements on the internal and external side of the company in order to improve its position for the better.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to examine and measure the market orientation effects on marketing performance. The population used in this study is the manufacturing companies in Semarang, consist of furniture, food & beverages, printing/offset, machinery & workshop, garment & footwear, metal industry, plastic waste cycle, soap& cleansing ware and plywood. Number of respondent in this research is 105 unit of companies, each company represented by their owner or manager. The results showed that market orientation is positively and significantly affect the marketing performance. Moreover, the model developed in this study proved that: 1) Market orientation result also positively influence marketing performance through process of product adaptation and business strategy quality; 2) Business strategy and product adaptation has positive effect on competitive advantage; 3) Product adaptation and competitive advantage has positive influence to marketing performance.

Abstract

Employees are the company’s assets that determine success in achieving its objectives. In obtaining a good performance of the company should provide Emotional Quotient and Confidence that serves to enhance the employee performance. The research was conducted on employees of PT Wings Surya Semarapura Branch. The phenomenon that occurs is the resulting performance of the employee has been unable to meet the specified performance targets management of PT Wings Surya Semarapura Branch. The method used in this study is qualitative and quantitative methods. The unit of analysis in this study is a combined workforce of about 39 employees. The test statistic used is regression analysis, correlation, hypothesis testing.The results of the analysis explain thatEmotional Quotient and Confidence simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. And based on t test results, Emotional Quotient and Confidence variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performanceofPT Wings Surya Semarapura Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of financial architecture dimension consisting of ownership structure, capital structure and corporate governance as well as adding another variable that is directors compensation to firm value. This study was conducted at companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2016 using secondary data source, consisting of 543 companies, of which 437 companies as a sample because it has complete data. The analysis method used is linear regression analysis, determination analysis and t test. The results showed that the financial architecture, capital structure, corporate governance and directors compensation have a positive and significant impact on firm value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak (impact) suksesi terhadap kinerja Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) di Prov. Analisis data dilkukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Likert scaledan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor karakteristik suksesor yang berdampak terhadap kinerja LPD, digunakan regresi linier bergandadengan menggunakan SPSS. Penelitian ini menemukan,dampak suksesi terhadap kinerja finansial, 63,3% LPDmempunyai pendapatan bersih naik, dan 70% LPD mempunyai totalkredit naik. Sedangkan dampak suksesi terhadap kinerja non finansial, 88,3%LPD mempunyai pemberian jaminan pelayanan meningkat, 71,6 %LPD mempunyai total produksi naik, dan 51,6% LPD mempunyai pangsa pasar naik.Pengalaman suksesor dalam menerima transfer bisnis dan lama suksesor bekerja di LPD berdampak positif terhadap kinerja finansialLPD. Pengalaman suksesor dalam menerima transfer bisnis dan kemauan suksesor untuk mengambil alih sebagaiKetua LPD memiliki dampakpositif terhadap kinerja non finansial LPD.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of external and internal factors on the performance of Village Credit Union – Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (hereinafter referred to as LPD) and village community loyalty in Badung Regency, Bali. The performance of LPD that has been measured based on financial approaches only, will be studied more deeply through several more approaches such as customer or village community satisfaction, internal business process, and growth and learning that is known as balanced scorecard measurement concept. This research is conducted in Badung Regency and using purposive sampling as sampling technique. Thera are 64 LPD out of 119 LPD that is chosen as the research sample. It was based on the consideration that the LPD which was established before 1997, which was the beginning of the year of the economic crisis experienced by Indonesia and the condition of the LPD in the crisis years still existed, while many similar financial institutions collapsed. Data analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Theoretical findings of the study reveal that external factors with indicators of local regulations, awig-awig, economic conditions, competition from similar financial institutions have a significant positive effect on LPD performance; Internal factors with indicators of organizational structure, culture, human resources have a significant positive effect on LPD performance; External factors have a significant positive effect on internal LPD factors.

Abstract

This study is intended to determine the effect of sales costs and advertising costs on mobile phone sales. Type This research is a causality research with sales promotion cost and advertising cost as independent variable and sales as dependent variable. Methods of data collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research use classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, F test, and t test.The results of this study found that the cost of sales promotion partially have a positive and significant impact on mobile phone sales. Meanwhile, advertising costs showed no significant positive effect.Therefore, the company still performs the cost of selling promotions effectively so that it can increase the sales of mobile phones, which in turn will attract potential buyers.

Abstract

Research on bonds is still limited compared to research on stocks in Indonesia. Bonds can be one type of asset that is quite interesting, because the bond is able to provide fixed income for investors who do not like the risk and can be used as an alternative investment in addition to stocks. This study aims to determine the effect of market interest rate, coupon and bond maturity to the price change of AAA rating bonds and BBB rating in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are all listed corporate bonds traded in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2012 until 2015. Testing research hypothesis used multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The result of this study is that market interest significantly negatively affect the price change of AAA rating bond and BBB rating, coupon rate significantly positively affect the price change of AAA rating bond and BBB rating, and maturity time significantly negatively affectthe price change of AAA rating bond and BBB rating in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
