Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas masa depan CTN di Pasaman PRRI. CTN, secara khusus, dipengaruhi oleh rasionalisasi pemberontak terakhir pada cabinet Hatta. CTN adalah orang Jawa yang baik dan  berasal dari Yogyakarta, orang-orang Jawa yang telah tinggal di Kalimantan. CTN masuk Pasaman, khususnya pada daerah Bukit Nilam. Hal ini karena desa Bukit Nilam adalah bekas perkebunan Belanda pada munculnya PRRI yaitu peristiwa sentimen terhadap orang Minang Jawa, khususnya di Bukit Nilam. Akibatnya kehidupan CTN menderita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kedatangan awal CTN di Bukit Nilam Pasaman, dan menggambarkan kehidupan CTN di Bukit Nilam Pasaman pada masa PRRI (1958-1961).Metode penelitian ini metode sejarah. Awal pengumpulan data (heuristik) adalah mencari dokumen, surat kabar dan buku yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan masa depan CTN PRRI. Wawancara lebih lanjut dilakukan dengan anggota CTN dan orang-orang yang menyaksikan peristiwa PRRI di Pasaman. Setelah data terkumpul,  dilakukan kritik sumber, memilah-milah berdasarkan kategori atau fokus penelitian, kemudian, menjelaskannya secara tertulis (historiografi)Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa CTN di Pasaman adalah mantan jenderal angkatan darat berdarah Jawa yang berasal dari Kalimantan. Alasan CTN untuk datang ke Pasaman karena sulitnya mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik di Kalimantan. CTN Pasaman ditempatkan di daerah-daerah terutama di Bukit Nilam, karena Bukit Nilam adalah mantan perkebunan jaman penjajahan Belanda. Setelah kemerdekaan Indonesia,  Bukit Nilam diserahkan kepada pemerintah Indonesia Belanda kerajaan, khususnya Menteri Pertahanan dan Keamanan (Menteri Pertahanan). CTN bertempatlah di Bukit Nilam.

Abstract

Existence PKPEK (Society for Research and Development of Community Economy) as one NGO aims to empower communities to improve people's income Pelemadu after the massive earthquake that occurred in 2006. The earthquake caused many casualties both material and non materti. Upon entry there PKPEK a significant increase of the income of the people, especially artisans dent.PKPEK existence begins with a change in the views seen from the aspect of change in the business entity, to provide infrastructure needed by the community as an asset, manpower and motivation. While the obstacles faced during the process of mentoring, among others: a) capital mainly raw materials, b) the means of production, c) market and d) price.

Abstract

Kemampuan siswa dapat dikembangkan melalui perkuliahan, salah satunya adalah melalui variabel Kalkulus 2. Agar kuliah menjadi lebih maksimal, diperlukan bahan yang dapat mendukung proses perkuliahan. Di Sumatera Barat, Padang, mahasiswa STKIP PGRI hanya mengandalkan satu buku ketika kuliah. Hal ini mengakibatkan motivasi dan minat mahasiswa dalam belajar menjadi rendah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan bahan kuliah yang dapat membantu memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan, yaitu sebuah modul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam mata kuliah Kalkulus 2 di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Modul ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4D (mendefinisikan, mendesain, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan). Tahap menyebarluaskan tidak dilakukan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan validasi dan pengujian modul. Modul divalidasi oleh Dosen dan Ahli Kalkulus 2, serta Dosen Bahasa Indonesia. Pengujian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat untuk mengetahui praktikalitas dan efektivitas dari modul tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul sudah valid (termasuk isi dan validitas konstruksi) dari hasil penilaian validator. Selanjutnya, penggunaan modul di kuliah tidak mengalami hambatan yang berarti. Buku ini adalah kerja praktek yang sesuai dengan mahasiswa dan Dosen dan modul ini sudah efektif. Hal ini terlihat dari aktivitas dan motivasi mahasiswa yang tinggi untuk belajar setelah kuliah.

Abstract

Regional autonomy is the right, authority, and duties of the autonomous regions to organize and manage their own affairs and interests of local communities in accordance with the legislation. The purpose of regional autonomy under Law no. 5 1975 is to allow the relevant area to control and manage their own households to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government administration in the context of service to the community and implementation. Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of regional government, especially in the implementation of development and service to the community and to improve pembinanan political stability and national unity.

Abstract

The function of BAMUS is to receive people’s aspiration and to be Wali Nagari’s companion in administering Nagari. BAMUS and Wali Nagari are Nagari’s officials who are able to guide and prosper Nagari’s people. Institute of Nagari’s government is stated on Peraturan Daerah Kabuten Agam number 12, 2007 which is about Nagari’s government. PERDA must regulate the organizing of Nagari, in contrary it produces some overlapping interests between BAMUS and Wali Nagari. This problem directs the researcher to conduct a research about the authority of BAMUS in administering Nagari at Kabupaten Agam. The finding of this research prove that it is rarely for BAMUS to corporate with Wali Nagari in organizing the governmence. It is happen because a conflict which is shown that both BAMUS and Wali Nagari fell that they have same opportunity in deciding systems and programs for Nagari.

Abstract

Structure subtest merupakan masalah yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa bahasa Inggris STKIP PGRI dalam menyelesaikan tes TOEFL. Berdasarkan data mahasiswa bahasa Inggris yang telah lulus, ditemukan bahwa skor tes tata bahasayang didapatkan jauh dari harapan. Sulit bagi mahasiswa untuk menentukan penggunaan setiap particular of speech pada kalimat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan tata bahasamahasiswa tahun ketiga jurusan Bahasa Inggris STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat pada setiap variabel yang ada pada test TOEFL, khususnya bahagian tata bahasa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara statistik kemampuan mereka pada level unsatisfactory. Hampir setengah dari subjek peneletian (42.30%) berada pada level rendah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam test tata bahasa TOEFL masih rendah.

Abstract

The human dependence of nature requires a harmonious relationship between them, in which humans are part of nature itself, which means having to maintain balance and sustainability. In an effort to maintain balance and sustainable marine resources, Tanimbarnise at Adaut village have principles or traditional norms which are respected and practiced in the management of marine products in the form of sasi. SASI enforcement of ocean is primarily intended to keep the sustainability of marine resources that are not disturbed by the exploitation activities carried out continuously, which ultimately makes it the trouble themselves to earn income from marine products. Abstract

The general puposes of experiencing math subject to elementary and middle school students are; first preparing the students to face the changing of real life through the thinking rehearsal based on the effective, effisien, honesty, critical, rationale, and logical way of thinking, and second, preparing the students to apply the mental principle of math in their daily life and as basic in learning other disciplines. Regarding to the importance of learning this subject, teacher of math should be able to create an effective teaching learning process to stimulate and to rise students enthusiasm in learning match. One of the strategy that can increase students desire in learning math is PAILKEM (Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Lingkungan, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menarik). There is an interactive dialoque between teacher students and students-students, during teaching-learning process.This creates a condusive situation in wich students feel free to discuss their problems in learning math to their teachers and their classmates. At the end, through this strategy, students can increase their ability in learning and it is hoped that teaching learning process will be done in optimal achievement.

Abstract

Fokus utama penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki serta memahami perempuan yang ikut berdagang di pasar nagari. Bagaimana keterkaitannya dengan lahirnya jiwa enterprenuership masyarakat Minangkabau serta keterkaitan enterprenuership dengan pemberdayaan ekonomi wilayah Sumatera Barat dan Nasional. Ada beberapa alasan perempuan pedagang terjun ke perdagangan eksport yaitu; (1) ingin melanjutkan kehidupan keluarga, (2) ketimpangan kepemilikan lahan pertanian yang dikuasai, (3) tingkat pendidikan yang rendah, (4) asal suku (sosial budaya).Keberadaan perempuan pedagang di pasar nagari merupakan incubator lahirnya dan terlanggengnya jiwa enterpreneurship untuk generasi selanjutnya di Minangkabau sekaligus telah memberikan sumbangan terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi wilayah Sumatera Barat secara khusus dan ekonomi Nasional secara umum.

Abstract

The observations showed that there were five problems faced by the students in reading comprehension class : (1) students were lazy to read English texts; (2) students fount difficulty to understand the contents of reading text because the have limited vocabulary; (3) students did not  have enough time because they have busy to consult the dictionary for any difficult words they found on the reading text; (4) the students were extremely passive during the class; and (5) the teaching technique used by the teacher was not interesting to the students.To solve the problems, a classroom action research of applying the summarizing strategy was conducted. The results showed that the application of the summarizing strategy to reading comprehension classes successfully improve students’ performance on reading comprehension tests. This success was confirmed by increasing average students score during cycle 1 to cycle 2. The average score during cycle 1 was 64.13, the average score during cycle 2 was 69.88, and that during cycle 3 was 72.38. Furthermore, students’ perceptions of the application of summarizing strategy to reading classes were also improving. These were supported by average percentages of positive perception of 40.5 in cycle 1, 73.9 in cycle 2, 84.6 in cycle 3.Thus, it was concluded that the summarizing strategy id effective to improve students’ reading comprehension. In addition, the strategy also enhances students’ perceptions of the application of the strategy to reading classes.
