Development of a country not just the responsibility of government alone,every human being contributes to social welfare and community enhancement.The business role is to promote healthy economic growth with environmentalconsiderations are a factor. Now the business is no longer just pay attention to thecompany's financial records alone (single bottom line), but already includes thefinancial aspects, social aspects and environmental aspects of the so-called triplebottom line. Synergy of these three key elements of the concept of sustainabledevelopment (sustainable development). patterns of partnership (partnership) withall stakeholders to play a role in development, while improving its performance inorder to continue to survive and even thrive into the compa pany that is able tocompete. These efforts can be generally referred to as corporate socialresponsibility or corporate citizenship and is intended to encourage more ethicalbusiness world in carrying out its activities so as not to influence or a negativeimpact on society and the environment, so that eventually the business will beable to survive in a sustainable manner to obtain economic benefits the main aimof the business world.

The focus of this research to investigate the involment of women in villages in markettrading acticity in the economy, especially the old palant. reasonwomen are engaged intrading activities of market economy. The involvement of women in the villlages marketmeans to rebuild the local economy because the forerunner of entrepreneurship. Theinvolvement of women traders provide their own style to the typology groupsentrepreneurship in Minangkabau.The methodogy used a qualitative research with hermaneutik interpretative methods,sociology and historical studies.The result show that there are several groups entrepeneurship, first typology is thesmall traders (one man interprise), there are three categories : strongcapital, trader withoutcapital and wholesalers. The second typology is family enterprise, in the form of commercialbusiness unit or firm. The third typology small enterprise, which distuingishes the familyenterprise. This gruop has begun to expand business network not just to traders but alsoexport to other trading outside of the region.

ABSTRACTThis study examines the decision of farmers to convert agricultural landinto non-agricultural land in Padang city. It is associated with widespread use ofagricultural land which has now changed its function into non-agricultural landuse due to construction progress. The study was conducted in Kuranji District andKoto Tangah District in Padang city.The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method,namely to determine the factors associated with the decision of farmers to convertagricultural land into non-agricultural land. The sample in this study were drawnfor the non-random sampling. Respondents were people who were directlyinvolved with the utilization of space in the area of agricultural households inparticular.

The purpose of this research is to disclose the influence of reward andwork motivation toward the lecturers’ performance in STKIP PGRI of WestSumatera. There were three hypotheses tested. Firstly, reward influenced thelecturers’ performance. Secondly, work motivation influenced the lecturers’performance. Thirdly, reward and work motivation collectively influenced thelecturers’ performance. The population of this research is 171 lecturers in STKIPPGRI of West Sumatera. Sample is taken by Stratified Proportional RandomSampling technique and they are 63 lecturers. Instrument used for data collectingis a questionnaire of Likert Scale model. The results of the research indicated that(1) reward influences 10% to the lecturers’ performance, (2) work motivationinfluences 12,9% to the lecturers’ performance, and (3) collectively, reward andwork motivation influence 19,1% to the lecturers’ performance. From theseresearch findings, it can be concluded that reward and work motivation are twoimportant factors for increasing the lecturers’ performance.

Sritical analysis of the polemic of imam ghazali and Ibnu rusyd about the physical punishmenton the judgement day eventhough. Iman Al-ghazali and Ibnu rusyd have different ideals andarguments about the punishment all the judgement day, both of them have a great contribution tothe progress of Islamic thought. Rationally, it can be said that Ibnu rusdy has encounter Alghazalycriticsm, but from the affection of Islamic world, Al-ghazaly more powerful that Ibnurusdy. The latest philosopher is well know and he also called “hujjat al islam”.

This written indentification is about endo paracit in Singkaraklake. The specific namely is Cirolana sp which has attacked Hampala sp(sasau) in gill net. This paracit attack anather fish there. It could be seenfrom caring fish floating net in singkarak lake. Because of this paracit, thefarmer can not explore the potential of Singkarak lake in growing thefloating net fish.3

Ties in the social structure and culture Saniangbaka society which denies its members have beenable to create a socio-economic forces in society as a whole Saniangbaka. The discussion in thisstudy focused on the Social Capital anchored in the social structure of Minangkabau society,namely in the form of organization Saniangbaka Residents in Jakarta. In discussing itinvestigated a). whether the social structure of Minangkabau culture influence the structure andorganization Saniangbaka Citizens Association (IWS) in Jakarta, b). whether the social structureand culture of Minangkabau and organizational structure will emerge capital di Jakarta IWSculturalcapital, c). and whether the cultural structures that emerged capital-capital culture.The study investigated using the framework of thinking about socio-cultural bonding structureSaniangbaka community about social capital as a value Mutual trust (trust) between members ofthe public against the leadership. The 14-18 years old high school students begin to plan their future lineincluding secondary school plan. The secondary school has been a concern of highschool students and would be a big work that possibly determines their life andfuture. Many factors that contribute to students career direction plan, some ofthem are self-concept.The study is a quantitative one using the correlation analysis approach.Population including all students of XI grade in Padang Panjang Senior HighSchool 1 that amount 165. Sample used is 116 students that taken by proportionalrandom sampling technique considering the sex and field of study. The instrumentused to collect data is the questionnaires that having a tested validity andreliability. Data analysis is using correlation and regression technique throughSPSS program.The result of the study show that hypothesis above is significantly proved.The self-concept is contributing 16,9% towards students career direction plan. Theresults reveal that self-concept rate can not be ignored besides other variables thatalso considered to have same contribution. Therefore, it is hoped that thecounseling teachers are able to improve the counseling programs through a moreeffective and creative activities.

Mathematical abilities of eighth grade students at SMP N 20 Padang hadnot been satisfactory yet because the students still had difficulties inunderstanding the mathematical communication abilities. These were due theinstructional methods used were less variable and less appropriate, as an effort toovercome the above problem, the researcher used stratagem method throughcooperative learning method. The purpose of this research was to determine:whether the communication mathematical abilities of students taught by stratagemthrough cooperative learning methods were better than conventional method. Theresearch was carried out to eighth grade students at SMP N 20 Padang. Themethod used was quasi experiment with posttest only control design. The result ofdata analysis showed that: abilities mathematical communication of studentstaught by using stratagem through cooperative learning method were better thanthose through conventional method. From the above result, it can be concludedthat the use of stratagem through cooperative learning method in teachingmathematics at SMP N 20 Padang was quite effective for improving student’smathematics learning outcomes on the ability in understanding thecommunication mathematical abilities.
