Abstract

An emergency is a condition that must be dealt quickly. Fire and accident victims are one example of conditions that must be dealt quickly, but heavy traffic conditions severely hinder emergency vehicles on reaching locations, especially when dealing with a crossroad. A traffic light system that is capable of detecting the presence of emergency vehicles and prioritizing roads for emergency vehicles at a crossroad will greatly assist emergency vehicles in reaching locations that require a quick treatment. Even-Odd Algorithm is an algorithm that can be used to test a point whether the tested point is inside or outside the polygon. By implementing this algorithm, system can detect a vehicle location with GPS sensor that provides a coordinate point against the mapping area that called a system activation in detecting the presence of emergency vehicles at traffic light area. When the system detects the presence of emergency vehicles, system can immediately give a priority to the path where the emergency vehicle detected. With this detection system emergency vehicle can immediately get a priority to pass through the path, that will make an emergency situations served quickly. According to this research even-odd algorithm can be used to detect the location of emergency vehicle in mapping area.

Abstract

The war between Russia and Ukraine has received attention from the world's media, including in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of article 3 of the Journalistic Code of Ethics (KEJ) in reporting on the shooting of US journalists in the Russia and Ukraine war. This qualitative research uses a content analysis approach, namely research that has the nature of an in-depth discussion of the contents of written or printed information in the mass media, in this case, two CNNIndonesia.com news. The results of this study show that CNNIndonesia.com has tested the information they receive in the news by confirming it from several different sources. In terms of balance, the news is presented unequally. The news presented does not provide space or time for reporting proportionally to the Russian side. One of the two news headlines analyzed contains elements of judgmental opinion which are the journalist's personal opinion by making assumptions without news sources on these allegations. In terms of the principle of presumption of innocence, CNNIndonesia.com used the word ‘allegedly’ in the first news story about the perpetrators of the shooting of journalists in the Russia-Ukraine war. The use of these words prevents the news from being judged by the media (trial by the press)

Abstract

Green IT Management, which aims to save energy in the business process ecosystem, is rarely used in the field of information technology. Because there is still little research and empirically, the application of Green IT is still in the modeling framework or local policies set stage, so not all companies are willing and able to do it. Because there is a gap between theory development and theory implementation, the right research direction is required so that the Green IT policy can be updated with the most recent conditions and accurately adopted. As a result of this situation, research questions must be addressed, such as whether the research gap from Green IT from its inception to 2022 exists, and whether the current Green IT policy modeling research direction can lead to implementation research. Using the PRISMA method as a guideline for conducting systematic literature reviews on the 200 most cited articles in the Scopus database, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar. In the final stage, 20 articles with conceptual discussions, 12 articles with empirical research, and 10 articles with policy implementation discussions were discovered. Based on the findings of the SLR study, it is possible to conclude that the first, the research gap, remains in the implementation section. Next, modeling and policy have not resulted in comprehensive implementation. Green IT research is still in its early stages, despite its steady progression over the last ten years. Empirically, not all companies are willing or able to implement because experimental research is still relatively limited in comparison to policy modeling research. According to this explanation, there is a gap between the implementation and development of theories or policy frameworks within the context of Green IT.

Abstract

Human resources are an important aspect of digital transformation. People's understanding and acceptance of technology, which leads to digital literacy, can drive the success of the digital transformation. An adaptive society is needed to accept existing digital developments, so it is very important to know the data on the digital literacy level of the community in an area to support development in that region. West Bandung Regency (KBB) is one of the areas that carry out digital transformation in various fields of life. This study aims to determine the level of digital literacy in the KBB society, determine the relationship between several sociodemographic factors and digital literacy, and provide recommendations regarding the condition of digital literacy in the KBB society. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach, with a sample of respondents selected by random sampling in the KBB society in seven selected sub-districts. The analysis was carried out both descriptively to determine the level of digital literacy in the KBB society and statistically using the chi-square test to see the relationship between several sociodemographic variables and digital literacy. The results of the study show that the digital literacy level of the people of West Bandung Regency is generally at an intermediate level. There is a relationship between the variables of education level, occupation, and digital literacy in the KBB society.

Abstract

The reading index in Indonesia is still relatively low, so many students become victims of fake news that develops on social media. In addition, students have not been able to utilize digital technology and digital literacy optimally, which has implications for weak knowledge related to civic literacy. The research designs used are literature reviews and qualitative research types. The research method is literature, while the data collection technique uses document studies, and the data analysis used is content analysis. Civic literacy has an important role in facing the era of society 5.0, with the ability to greatly help students participate in realizing harmony in the lives of the nation and state. Society 5.0 has a tough challenge for higher education if each lecturer does not equip students with civic literacy skills. The strategy of strengthening civic literacy through digital literacy can be done effectively by implementing varied learning methods and using digital-based learning media. Through this, students will be interested in learning, considering that they are a digital native generation who cannot be separated from digital technology. Increasing civic literacy is very effective by utilizing digital literacy so that every student can adapt to the times, especially in the era of society 5.0.

Abstract

The government built a National Public Service Complaint Management System (SP4N) to control public services. Complementing the implemented complaint service running through various channels at the national level, as well as Ministries, Institutions, and Local Governments (K/L/D), the government initiated the People's Online Aspirations and Complaints Service (LAPOR) featured digital channels. This research examines the SP4N service channel usage trends, especially in the 2013-2022 decade after LAPOR launched. Conducting descriptive analysis of the national SP4N usage data, the research reveals SP4N usage trends, channel usage trends, and channel contributions to SP4N usage. The SP4N usage in the last decade fluctuated but still has a positive growth trend. There has been a shift in the channel usage trend among digital channels, with the three most dominant channels being SMS, website and Android apps. The three digital channels also have the highest contribution, but traditional channels still emerge as one of the channels that need to be considered. Face-to-face is the only traditional channel included in the top 1000 usage and once reached an annual contribution of 1%. The research provides three recommendations: ineffective channel management policies, strengthening social media channels, and strategies for developing traditional channels.
