Abstract

Moving Area is learning techniques adopted from the model kindergarten class consisting of areas of learning. This technique oriented activity in which the teacher provides students with a variety of games moving area so that students understand the concepts being taught with enrichment-enrichment (reinforcement) found in these areas. With this technique are expected, students can discover the excitement of learning that marked the rise of interest, full involvement, the creation of meaning, a good understanding and excellent value. In the implementation of learning to write simple sentences in English through play method by using moving area, there are several steps that must be carried out before the implementation in the classroom. Teachers create lesson plans (Lesson Plan) for each competency, arrange activities that will occur under these competencies, and designing the media, and to determine the appropriate type of evaluation.Keywords: Moving Area, Competence, Designing Media, Writing Sentences

Abstract

Reading comprehension can be defined as a readiness of active thought process of a reader who deliberately construct meaning in the form of an understanding of the concepts and more in-depth information presented in text form. Reading comprehension, requires the reader to use the information they have to filter, interpret, organize, and reflect on the information coming from each page. Efficient interpretation of the text include a mixture of word comprehension skills, relations major new information to knowledge, and the application of appropriate strategies such as placing the main idea, making connections, questioning, infer and predict. Finding the main idea is integral to reading comprehension and often have a challenge to the efforts of the readers. Teaching reading to mengidentifikasiide main ideas in the text as a promising approach a positive impact on reading comprehension skills. In addition, the conclusion was able to build awareness of the value of the main ideas in the text. Exercise can replace concluded reading comprehension when direct teaching approach used to teach the technique, when students enough time to apply the technique, and when the special instruction on how to change the strategy supported for new materials.Keywords: Reading, Understanding, Teaching, Interpreting

Abstract

The core meaning of good university governance is that the university as an open system, reluctanly or not has to follow the change which happens in the society. In this case, as the paradigm of how to manage an organization which concerns with mass society has been changed, so the university has to follow this change also. They say that university has to implement the fundamental aspects of good governance namely transparancy, responsibility, effectiveness, accountability, law enforcement, and the participation of the stakeholders in decision making process as well as in policy runs by the university. If it is done, so it is hoped that mutual beliefs and mutual understanding as well as mutual honorus will emerge in the whole educational stakeholders sense to make the ouality of the university performances enhance optimally.

Abstract

The aim of this qualitative research is to understand comprehensively the process of learning mathematics in nature elementary school associated with developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and student’s atttitude towards mathematics learning. The research is conducted in the first grade of Cikeas Nature Elementary School located in Puri Cikeas Complex, Nagrak, Gunung Putri, Bogor. The data are collected though participant observation, interview and document study. The data analysis and interpretation indicated: (1) the teacher’s activities in the process of learning mathematics which appropriate to the children development are: explaining concepts by using props, asking open and close questions, teaching by using integrated learning, checking students’s works, guiding students, giving positive reinforcement and managing the class; (2) the student’s activities in the process of learning mathematics which appropriate to the children development are: manipulating props, learning while playing, doing worksheets, learning in group, and peer tutor; (3) the props in the process of learning mathematics are: concrete props, image props and symbol props; (4) the student’s attitude in the process of learning mathematics are: receiving, responding and valuing.Keywords: the process of learning mathematics, development appropriate practice (DAP), student’sattitude.

Abstract

Physical Education is essentially an integral part of a total sum education system aims to develop aspects of health, physical fitness, critical thinking skills, emotional stability, social skills, reasoning and moral action through physical activity and sport. Physical Education in the learning process, teachers are expected to teach a variety of sports basic movement skills, techniques and strategies of games and sports, internalization of values (sportsmanship, honesty, cooperation, etc.) and habituation of healthy living. In the lesson the teacher can provide a variety of approaches that students are motivated and keen to keep learning. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effectivness of problem solving approach, to increase students’ mathematics ability of multiplication. This research was implemented at SDN Guntur 04 Pagi Setiabudi South Jakarta, with 44 students as subject of research. This is an action research by using Kemmis and McTaggart model in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planing, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data was collected through the students’ mathematic ability of multiplication by test, and non test observation of implementation the problem solving approach by sheet of observation to teacher and students activities, transcript of activities and document analysis, interviews and the documentation. The implication of researched indicates that the usage of problem solving approach can make students more active based on their mental ages development. Teacher can develop innovative method to suit the needs of sudents, so that learning becomes dynamic and meaningful.Keywords: problem solving approach, mathematics ability of multiplication, action research.

Abstract

Education can be interpreted as a process with certain methods therefore man obtains knowledge, understanding, and way of behaviour matching with requirement. In election and usage of method must consider its(the evektifity aspect and its(the relevensi with the matter related. Skill uses various representing one of skill teachs which must be mastered by teacher. In process of study, not rarely rutinity which is performed by teacher like discourse, question and answer, then discuses with group makes bored and saturated student. In condition like this teacher must clever uses method teachs that is by changed style teachs, by using model multi method (Study Model of Interaktif Teacher-Centered, Study Model of Interaktif which Student-centered). Therefore student do not feel bored and can create more pleasant study situation. Through Multi this Metode, teacher creates the situation which pushs so that student feeling requiring each other. Relation requiring each other this can generate existence of positive interdependence which claims existence of possible interaction the neighbouring student giving each other motivation to gain result of optimal achievement.Keywords: Education, Study, Multi Method

Abstract

The research is to find the increasing of democratic affective in PKn learning trhough Role Play Methode. This reasearch was implemented at MI Al Muhajirien Jakapermai Bekasi with 40 students as subject of research.This is an action research by using Kemmis and Taggart model in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting.The qualitative result of this action research showed that student democratic affective can increase the student personality with good character and the implementation of role play method made students happy and active .In other side the quantitative result showed the increasing of percentage anquete from 55% to 68% in cycle I and become 92,5 % in cycle II. In both cycles, students achieved the minimum mastery criteria. The observation result of activity of role play methode of both teacher and students in cycle II achieved 100% of mastery learning.Finally from both qualitative data and quantitative data indicate that PKn learning activities by using role play method can increase the democratic affective of students
