<![CDATA[Population tends to expand agricultural land by opening up new agricultural land to improve agricultural output. This has an impact on environmental damage in Mootilango Village. Therefore, a community-based environmental conservation program is implemented, with details of the program including: (1) Counseling on environmental damage and mitigation of natural disasters; (2) training, practice and assistance of land conservation techniques; (3) Counseling of organic farming system; (4) The socialization of the application of local wisdom in the cultivation of plants; (5) training and assistance of agricultural waste processing; (6) counseling and facilitation of environmental hygiene. Community-based environmental conservation efforts in Mootilango Village can assist in the development of high cultural and economic value environments. These efforts are supported by landscapes owned by Mootilango Village which is very potential to be developed ecotourism. Ecotourism is one of the green economy's fastest growing components and focuses on environmental conservation.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to know the potential of cow blood waste in surabaya city slaughterhouse as natural gas subtitution with starter of Methanococus Sp bacteri. The type of research is experimental with complete random designs. The independent variable in this treatment is the slaughterhouse where the blood take place. Thedependent variable is the fire color, time and smoke color resulting from the fires. The control variable are blood volume and starter of bacteria Methanococus Sp. the sampel used is a cow blood waste from a slaugtherhouse pegirian, Kedurus and Kriane. Each of slaughterhouse take as much as 6 liters and then inserted into a airtight digester with a special pvc sized 1 dimensional tube equipped with thermoregulator and faucet. Starter of Methanococus Sp bacteria is added into the blood-filled digester and allowed to stand for 1 week to produce methane gas from the fermentation process. After 1 week the appliance is connected to the stove and the valve is opened so that the gas fermented by the bacteria can be chaneled. <![CDATA[Keberadaan para pedagang kaki lima yang berjualan di sekitar kampus unisba saat ini sedikit mengganggu kenyamanan dan kebersihan lingkungan kampus. Walaupun demikian, keberadaan pedagang kaki lima tersebut telah memberikan alternatif bagi mahasiswa Unisba untuk mendapatkan makanan dan minuman selain di kantin kampus atau di koperasi mahasiswa. Pengamatan awal menunjukkan bahwa cara berdagang yang mereka lakukan tidak berubah dari waktu ke waktu, padahal mereka sudah berjualan bertahun-tahun bahkan puluhan tahun. Manajemen usaha yang sangat sederhana menyebabkan usaha tidak berkembang secara signifikan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan manajemen wirausaha dari para pedagang kaki lima tersebut sehingga mereka dapat mengelola usahanya dengan lebih baik dan usahanya dapat berkembang secara signifikan.Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan mengenai manajemen usaha, meliputi manajemen produksi, manajemen keuangan sederhana, manajemen produksi, dan pemasaran. Untuk mengurangi kejenuhan peserta pelatihan, pelatihan tidak dilakukan dalam kelas. Selain itu juga dilakukan inisiasi pembentukan paguyuban pedagang untuk memudahkan koordinasi dan komunikasi antar pedagang atau antara pedagang dengan pihak lain. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada pemahaman para pedagang mengenai cara mengelola usaha mereka dan sebagian besar peserta pelatihan merasa puas dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan yang dilakukan. Para pedagang mengharapkan kegiatan serupa dilakukan secara rutin dengan materi pelatihan yang berbeda sehingga kemampuan mereka semakin bertambah.]]>

<![CDATA[This application of science and technology for community development is aimed to introduce applied technology of solar home system in Lahopang village which is located in Siau island, Sitaro District, North Sulawesi provience of Indonesia. In addition, this program is a real action implementation of university tridharma Sam Ratulangi University in implementing community-based solutions to the problems of energy for rural and remote area. Method of implementation of this activity consists of several stages, namely: (1) Application of solar home system technology as an example for a selected house in the village; (2) Training and technical guidance on the operation and maintenance of the solar home system for the enhancement of knowledge and skills on the technology applied. Through technology transfer in this activities, it is expected that technology implementation will be maintained in the future; (3) Counseling for increasing awareness of conservation of electric energy for island communities.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia has a larger ocean area than land, making it possible to develop a business in the field of fisheries. One of them is the development of shrimp and crab business. However, the business of crabs and shrimp were not separated from waste processed products. So it takes special handling to process crab and shrimp waste to be more economical value. Chipo is a mixture of chitosan and Polyvinyl alcohol. Chitosan is made from crab and shrimp. The purpose of this study was to determine the mass changes to temperature rise on chipo. The method used is by analysis of TGA (Thermal Gravimetric Analysis). The analyzed chipo samples were 20-22 mg. The result of TGA analysis showed that in Argon atmosphere chipo material lost mass of 9,964% when it reached 93,54oC. While in the atmosphere of oxygen up to 82.21oC temperature losing mass of 7.208 %. Thus, a thin layer of chipo don’t put at that temperature with atmospheric oxygen and argon conditions, in order to avoid mass loss of above.]]>

<![CDATA[The condition in area of SMP (Junior High School) IT Taruna Insani, Sasak Panjang, Bogor makes it impossible to use an online-base e-learning. Therefore, it is necessary to build infrastructure of intranet-based e-learning or local to facilitate the process of learning using e-learning application. E-learning is utilization of computer and information technology (TIK) to support learning process. The current learning method can be developed by using blended learning: a method to reinforce lecturing-form learningthrough provision of material content and technology development. The purpose of this program is to develop e-learning infrastructure of intranet-based which gives efficiency for the school in term of administrative cost implementation and other physical facilities. Three components of e-learning formation are infrastructures (computer server, personal computer, and computer network), e-learning application, and e-learning content.]]>

<![CDATA[Tingkat Target utama dari kegiatan PKM adalah Meningkatkan ketrampilan ibu-ibu dalam membuat olahan singkong menjadi berbagai kue/makanan yang mempunyai nilai tambah yang lebih tinggi. Dipilihnya singkong sebagai bahan dasar kue/kuliner, karena pertanian di Kampung Cipondoh menghasilkan singkong yang melimpah. Saat ini Singkong sebagian besar di jual mentah dengan harga yang relatif murah ke pengumpul, sebagian singkong sudah diolah menjadi makanan tradisional seperti kripik singkong dan opak singkong dll. Untuk mencapai target diatas maka kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan ialah: pengadaan mesin dan peralatan yang dibutuhkan, pelatihan administrasi keuangan sederhana, wirausaha pemasaran dan peningkatan ketrampilan pengolahan kue berbahan dasar singkong. Peningkatan keterampilan dilakukan dengan cara praktek langsung membuat kue/makanan. Selain mempunyai rasa yang enak olahan singkong diupayakan lebih menarik, kreatif, halal dan thayyib (baik untuk kesehatan tubuh). Selanjutnya pendampingan dan monitoring kegiatan diarahkan pada diskusi untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala di lapangan dan rencana pengembangan kuliner yang akan dikembangkan. <![CDATA[Keraton Kanoman and Kacirebonan have a history of the entry of Islam in West Java. Currently both keraton still have the building intact. In addition, there are also descendants who continue the tradition of the palace. The spatial system of the palace still follows the pattern of the past space. Similarly, the structure of the building. The purpose of writing this paper is to examine the phenomenon of contemporary space in Kanoman palace and Kacirebonan palace. This scientific paper is a research product using Husserl Phenomenology method. The results show the phenomenon of space pattern equation in the palace of Cirebon is the king's residence is the highest peak. Besides the palace in Cirebon facing north. In the North there is the Tomb of Sunan Gunung Djati located on Mount Sembung. This shows the parallel between the worldly life and the end. This phenomenon shows that space and place has something that is intangible, this is evidenced by the phenomenon of layout and the composition of the palace Kanoman and Keraton Kacirebonan.]]>

<![CDATA[Utilization of waste materials with various engineering for the manufacture of products in all fields has been done by many people to get a new alternative of material. One of these materials is corn skin that has a strong nature, light, and significant texture which make it a potential waste material. This research studies the utilization of corn skin through lamination process, which then put a tensile test and acoustic test/damping power by measuring the coefficient of damping to the sound. The method used in this research is experiment in laboratory by making lamination which is laying arrangement process with number of layers starting from 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 layer using wooden adhesive then pressing. After forming the laminated sheets, the specimens are made according to ASTM D638 standard for tensile test and ASTM E-1050-98 standard for acoustic test of specimen. The research results indicates that the laminate of corn skin produced the highest tensile strength value of 18.34 N/mm2 on the layer number of 10 layers. The value of this tensile strength is in the category of class V of wood power that can only be used for temporary construction. While the result of acoustical test indicated that the ability of sound damping shown with the highest of (α) 0.266 coefficient value with the number of layers of 5 layers at low frequency (<4000 Hz). Whereas for high frequency (> 4000 Hz), the reducing coefficient (α) is 0.382 with lamination of 10 layers. Compared with other materials, the results of this lamination of con skin at low frequency of (1000Hz) with α = 0.075 have better sound dumping value than play wood material (α = 0.05) and styrofoam (α = 0.07), so it can be used as an alternative material for sound absorbers such as:; floors, walls, recording studio rooms, inner walls and sound speaker boxes.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service in the field of e-commerce aims to strengthen the purchasing power of Small and Medium Enterprises products, one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) targeted is Rumah Jambu Bojong Gede Bogor through the implementation of Web-based E-Commerce and assistance using the use of information technology on the Business Small Medium House Guava in District Bojong Gede - Bogor, thus increasing economic independence through surrounding communities in order to improve the utilization of information technology and internet in marketing activities globally. The issues raised are the improvement of sales service, marketing, product ordering from consumers. The solution offered is the creation of E-Commerce application made based on web technology by introducing wordpress as one of the websites and blogs that can be used partners for free or paid, the introduction of online stores so that Small and Medium Enterprises can also register online stores for free. Application of the application to partners through transfer knowledge through training and partner assistance in using E-commerce applications. Stages of the implementation of dedication starts from the Identification and Situation Analysis, Information Exclusion of Partner Problems, Website Creation Training, Uploading and Content Filling Training Website so that in the future the partner of Small and Medium Enterprises can fill the content independently in the future, and Evaluate Use of Website.
