Abstract

ABSTRACT The purposes of this research are: (1) Determine the implementation guidance for the group was held in Junior High School Semarang; (2) Examining of learning discipline level (3) The discovery of the model development group counseling services with self-management techniques to improve discipline of students’ learning; (4) determine the effectiveness of the model development group counseling services with self-management techniques to improve discipline of students’ learning. Methods This study was conducted by the Research and Development (R & D) withthe following steps: (1) preparation of model development, (2) formulating hypothetical model, (3) feasibility test of hypothetical model, (4) improvement of hypotetical model, (5) field test, (6) the end result ot the product. Generating a model of group counseling by self management techniques to improve students learning discipline. Key words: Learning discipline, group guidance, self management.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Comparison Anger Management Skills of Students with Emotional Literacy and FGD Strategies. The purpose of this research is to understand the comparison anger management skills of junior high school with emotional literacy and focus group discussion strategies intervention. This research used quasi experiment method with the pretest- posttest two treatment designs. The subjects of the research were taken from the students of grade of VII.3 and VII.5 SMPN 5 Malang with purpossive technique selection. Pretest result shows that there are twelve students have low and very low anger management score, then they were divided into two groups which consist of six students each. The first group, experiment I, with emotional literacy strategy treatment and the second group, experiment II with focus group discussion strategy treatment. The research instrument uses anger management scale. The data analyzed by using Wilxocon sign rank test to verify the improvement of anger management in each group experiment and Mann-Whitney U test to examine any differences, if any, in the effectiveness among the two treatments. The result of the analysis indicates that the two methods used shows a significant increase and there is no significant difference between the effectiveness of the two toward the managing anger skill improvement. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of research to empirically examine the factors of non-cognitive include: self-control ability, coping with anxiety, time management skill, problem solving skill, and academic achievement of student’s SMAN Malang. Data were collected using self-inventory self-control ability, coping with anxiety, time management skill, problem solving skill, and grades in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, then analyzed by Spearman correlation. These samples included 224 students that high school students Pola Lima, drawn using multistage random sampling technique. Findings of this study are (1) Self-control ability, time management skills, coping with anxiety has a significant relationship to student achievement; (2) self-control ability themselves have a significant relationship with time management skills, coping with anxiety, problem solving positively oriented, rational problem-solving style, and avoidance problem solving style. Abstract

ABSTRACT One's academic achievement is influenced by many aspects, one of the aspects that affect academic achievement is the psychological aspects including self-esteem, self-regulation, and achievement motivation. A person who has self-esteem, self-regulation, and high achievement motivation was possible to have high academic achievement. This study aimed to test theoretical models to test students' academic performance acceleration and influence between variables using data analysis is a statistical test of the structural equation modeling (SEM) The results of hypothesis testing through SEM analysis, we concluded that the theoretical models of student achievement accelerated program has proven its worth (GFI = 0924 criteria> 0.900) and obtain the support of empirical data (X2 = 149 799, p = 0398 criteria> 0.05), as well as self-esteem affect achievement motivation, self regulation affecting achievement motivation, self-esteem affect academic achievement, self-regulation affects academic achievement, and achievement motivation affect academic achievement. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to test empirically the theoretical models of student achievement excellent class and influence the efficacy of academic self-esteem, skills set goals, and creative thinking on student achievement excellent class in SMPN Malang, in terms of efficacy academic self-esteem, skill set goals, and creative thinking. Data was collected using methods Causal Relationship Study and analyzed using path analysis. The sample was featured grade students Malang number of 141 students, drawn by purposive random sampling. The results showed that the theoretical models of student achievement is not fully proven. Academic self-efficacy directly influence significantly to academic achievement, while the variables of self-esteem, setting goals skills and creative thinking have no direct impact significantly to academic achievement. Furthermore, self-esteem and skills to set goals affect academic self-efficacy. Key words: Academic self-eficacy, self-esteem, creative thingking skills to set goals, academic achievement

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aims of this research were to describe the process of the increasing students’ linguistic intelligence and to knows how far the result of the increasing by students’ linguistic intelligence through story the legend. Respondent of the research involved of 15 children from grade B at PAUD Dahlia kindergarten. The method of this research was used by Kemmis and Taggart models and it does by 8 times of meeting by two cycles. The data analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative approach. The result of this research were an increasing by the students’ linguistic intelligence through story the legend, it was evidence by the quantitative and qualitative data. At the quantitative data it showed of pre-cycle 53,25%, it was increase to cycle I 19,42% be 72,67%, and it was increase to cycle II 16,64% be 89,31%, then at the qualitative data shows the increasing of linguistic intelligence by process that the teacher tells the story by using many kinds of media, the children give attention and respond it, and then the children tell the story based on their imagination. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to improve children's creativity through entrepreneurship (market day). Using action research methods to model Kemmis & Taggart. The study was conducted from March to May 2015 and conducted over 13 meetings were divided into two cycles. Subjects in this study are the children of Kelompok B3 TK Insan Cemerlang Pringsewu, Lampung. The results showed an increase in children’s creativity after following the market day activities. The data show that the level of children’s creativity in pre-cycle is 46.58%. Children's creativity then increased to 64.5% at the end of the first cycle and increased again to 82.25% at the end of the second cycle. The results obtained based on observations during the study that the children play an active role in expressing his ideas, both when making decisions or when making crafts. Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this study and the fact the field observations, that the young generation today lacks a sense of nationalism and patriotism to the country, and even the little they know about the history of Indonesia, especially the history of the monument Trisula. It is apparent from the number of visitors who come to the Trident and even rare monuments of people who know about Trident Monument in South Blitar. History Monument Trident is originally with the arrival of PKI from outside the area to the south of Blitar, where they teach communism to the people, that the Communist Party was the party of the workers and farmer. Because the G30S / PKI, namely the murder of the Armed Forces General in alligator holes made by the PKI, thus making the government requires PKI eradicate completely. TNI know that many PKI members who fled to the south of Blitar, then the military, police and people together crush the PKI in Blitar south-named Trident operation. Many casualties in the operation, in order to honor the hero in maintaining the purity of Pancasila and wholeness NKRI then place it was established Monuments Trident, as proof that the place that's the end of the trip the communist parties in Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the application of rational emotive behaviour counseling group to help students cope with distress. The subjects of this study were eight students from class of XI APk 1 at SMK Negeri 4 Surabaya as the experimental group and seven students in class of XI APk 2 as the control group which were identified as having high level of distress. Distress questionnaire was used as the data collecting methods. This research used quasi eksperimental approach along with the design of nonequivalent control group design, which is using the comparison group or control group. The analysis tried to compare the results obtained on the data collecting before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the method given between the control and experimental group. Non-parametric statistic along with the Wilcoxon Rank Sum test was used as the data analysis technique. From the analysis obtained showed that the hyphothesis which stated “the level of distress among the group of students who helped with the rational emotive behaviour counseling group declined significantly than the other group of students who assisted with conventional methods” are acceptable. So it can be concluded that the rational emotive behaviour counseling group is effective to be applied as the counseling intervention strategies for helping students cope with distress. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: (1) the character of the artifacts in the text Semar Semar, (2) private counselors drawn from the text Semar. Used a qualitative approach with Gadamerian hermeneutic method. Hermeneutic Gadamerian is a kind of hermeneutic research objective (Objectivist hermeneutics). Source data from this study are primary and secondary. The primary data comes from the book What and Who Semar Semar bouquet Sri Mulyono and the Inner Javanese Tuti Sumukti bouquet. Secondary data comes from interviews with Ki Purbo langsug Asmoro, S.Kar, Hum. The results showed that the character of Semar that can diadikan model for personal counselor, namely character (1) counsel, (2) encouragement, (3) prevention, (4) the waiter, (5) friendly, (6) wise, (7) honest (8) concerned.
