Elementary is published twice a year (every six months, i.e. January and July) as scientific communication means of academic people in the study of Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education. Editorial Board receives the articles from the educators, observers, researchers on Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education to be published after having tight selection, peer review, and serious editting.

Abstract

Learning activities for each individual are not alwaysable to take place naturally. This is due to the individual differencesamong students. Students cannot learn properly called withlearning difficulties. Learning difficulties is a drawback that isnot outwardly visible. Inability to learn is not to be recognizedin a physical form different from people who do not experienceproblems learning difficulties. This paper identifies factors thatcontribute the learning affect in children.

Abstract

This research examined the effectiveness of conflictresolution counseling to solve student’s interpersonal conflictin senior high school. The experimental study used randomizedcontrolled trials design with triple blinding include: clien asparticipants, counselors, and pretest-postest administrator.Participants were 24 students with destructive interpersonal,devided into 12 students in the experimental group and 12 students inthe control group. Participants in the experimental group receivedconflict resolution counseling and participants in the controlgroup received counseling as usual. Based on anacova statisticaltest indicated implementing of conflict resolution counseling hasimproved: (1) positive perceptions of the conflict, (2) collaborativeattitude in the face of conflict. It can be concluded that, conflictresolution counseling can help the students of senior high schoolto solve their interpersonal conflicts. Conflict resolution counselingcan be adopted as alternative counseling for interpersonal conflictresolving.

Abstract

In the study, some students quickly understand whatwas described by teachers, some are slow to understand. Studentswho quickly understood what was presented by the teacher wouldnot have a significant problem, otherwise the students are slow inunderstanding a lesson is certainly a problem for him, if allowedto drag on. Therefore, there must be help and guide him so thatlearning the right way so he would not miss the lessons of morefriends. Here we need the help of various parties. In the contextof the subject teachers and school counselors have a major role inhelping and encouraging the students. Moreover, elementary schoolstudents / madrasah are incidentally still in a period of growth anddevelopment. Interest guidance related to learning including thedevelopment of attitudes and habits, especially in doing the taskin developing the skills and the attitude of the teachers, as well asfosters the discipline of learning and training, either independentlyor in groups. The efforts to do is first, enrichment fix that form ofteaching that is cure or correct any teaching that makes for thebetter, second, enrichment activities, is a form of service that isgiven to a student or students who are very fast in learning, third, increase motivation to learn, teachers and other school staff areobligated to help learners improve motivation to learn, fourth, andfifth increase learning skills, the development of attitudes and goodstudy habits.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaborativeimplementation of cbaghdadiyah method and hearing aid mediumto learn Islamic education in Al-Quran material on deaf childrenin SDLB Purwosari Kudus. This is a field research on deaf childrenclass in qualitative approach. The data collections are in the form ofpassive observation, interviews, and documentation obtained fromthe respondents associated with research and the data analysis usesreduction data, display data, and conclusion drawing techniques.The results of this study are teachers are able to understand thecondition of the students that prepare the right way to teach thestudents by bagdadiyah method who assist with hearing aids.Before the learning begins, the teachers prepare several stagessuch as: material to be delivered, and in the process also useslesson plans and syllabus as a reference in planning the learningand use special techniques in the learning and the teacher evaluatelearning outcomes by using the instruments in accordance withthe purpose of learning. After application of bagdadiyah methodand hearing aid medium in learning the Qur’an, the ability to readand write increases. This can be seen from the learning process ofstudents that is always active in mimicking what the educatorsas well as additional capabilities such as memorizing short letter,especially they deaf children.

Abstract

Disabilities are those who have physical, mental,intellectual limitations or sensory impairments in the long term. When they deal with various obstacles, they may hinder their fulland effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.Besides, the disabilities, this paper will reveal Islamic counseling forchildren in learning disabilities. Basically, people with disabilitiesneed an intervention in order to run a normal and decent life andto function as a member of society. But on the other hand, they alsowant to be treated as equal and independent individuals, withouthaving to invite pity excessive.The emergence of learning disabilities is influenced by severalfactors coming from both inside and outside of the individualconcerned. The cause of learning difficulties disabilities consistsof two factors; internal factors are the possibility of neurologicaldysfunction, whereas the main cause of the learning problems isthe external factors, which include learning strategies are wrong,the management of learning activities that do not generate themotivation to learn the child, and the inappropriate provisionreplicates reinforcement.

Abstract

Children are figures that parents do the best for them.The most valuable thing given by parents to children is education.In educating and teaching children, especially elementary students,parents and teachers often find it difficult. Lack of motivation isthe reason children are always first and foremost. To increasetheir motivation, parents and teachers need to understand thepsychology of child development. Elementary school age childrenhave different developmental psychology characteristics. Thesecharacteristics are classified into four points: physical, social,language, and cognitive. By understanding the characteristics ofpsychological development of children, parents and teachers mustteach and educate children in accordance with their developmentand not do things that are unwanted by children. It was provedthat any children of different ages have different developmentalpsychology. By understanding the psychology of their development,parents and teachers can teach and educate them easily knowingwhat can make children motivated and to obtain the best results ineducation, parents and teachers or schools to work together.

Abstract

This article talks about the concept of children’s educationaccording to Nasih Ulwan. Nashih Ulwan is a staunch in theIslamic movement devoted them to preaching and joins the MuslimBrotherhood. Nashih Ulwan said that the the most important andcared for responsibility by Islam is the responsibility of educatorsto children. They are eligible to receive guidance, instruction, andeducation from them. Educators are referred to here other than theparent, also including teachers in formal schools, among teachersin the education of children. Explicitly Nashih Ulwan 5 educationalmethods suggested in the book, namely: 1) Education by example,2) Education with customs (repetition). 3) Education with advice,4) education by providing care and supervision. 5) Educationthrough punishman. Ulwan emphases on children’s education;1) Attention in terms of faith in children. 2) Caution in terms ofmorals. 3) Attention children mentally and intellectually. 4). Interms of physical child’s attention. 5) The attention in terms of thepsychology of children. 6) Attention in terms of social development.

Abstract

The demand of a paradigm shift in teaching teachersis a necessity and the right thing to do to convince the ClassroomAction Research (PTK). PTK aims to improve learning outcomesart on perspective image material in class XII IPA 5 SMA Negeri1 Pemalang in the school year 2012/2013 by using 38 students asthe subjects. The data are collected by observation to teachers andstudents, students’ questionnaire responses, and product test results(performance). The validity of the data is done by triangulation.The procedure is performed through three research steps, namely:preparation, execution, and preparation of reporting. It wasconducted in two cycles. The essence of the action in the first andsecond cycles was divided into three initial learning phases, core,and an end.The results showed: 1) There is a growing mastery learningoutcomes of students in the learning perspective image by utilizinginstructional media photography by 52.57% (from 47.7% to theinitial mastery 97.27%) and the increase in the average value ofa class of 14, 68 (from 70.16 into 84.84), 2) the level of studentactivity in the learning perspective image by utilizing instructionalmedia of photography on a is very active on category of 52.42%,40% active, fairly active and 6.58%, 3) Level perceptions ofstudents in learning perspective image by utilizing the medium oflearning photography is in the category of strongly agree / verypleased to 76.32%, agree / pleased to 21.05%, and quite agree /somewhat pleased 2,63%, and 4) the level of teacher performancein learning picture perspective by utilizing instructional media of photography at the start of activities, the core activities (exploration,elaboration, confirmation), and the end of the learning activitiesreach optimalization of 94.11%.
