Abstract

The Environment and Forestry Office (DLHK) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is a government agency that manages the Integrated Waste Disposal Site (TPST) located in Piyungan. In the TPST, there is dissatisfaction from the local community regarding the management system. The peak is the closure of Piyungan TPST by the local community as a form of their dissatisfaction. This problem impacts the survival of the surrounding community and the emergence of demands for the DLHK. This study aims to determine the crisis management steps selected by the DLHK of DIY in dealing with crisis management issues and restoring the image of the institution. This study utilized descriptive qualitative as the research method. The data were collected through interviews with the public relations (PR) officer of the Piyungan TPST of the DLHK, a member of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of DIY, and community members. Moreover, the data were supported by documentation data in the form of mass media clippings. The qualitative data analysis technique was applied to collect, present, and conclude data. This research discovered that the PR of the DLHK employed prevention, preparation, and mitigation strategies through changing policies and communication patterns by committing direct dialogue, compromise, and negotiation with the local community to overcome the crisis. The dialogue was also carried out on a routine basis; thus, the Piyungan TPST of the DLHK could determine the shortcomings, complaints, and opinions of the surrounding community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan perubahan pola kerja jurnalistik di Indonesia pasca COVID-19 dan implikasinya pada kualitas berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan ekonomi politik dalam menggali relasi antara jurnalis, media dan pemerintah, sebagai kontribusi akademik lebih lanjut dari studi-studi terdahulu yang hanya berpusat pada budaya jurnalistik pasca COVID-19. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari wawancara mendalam, observasi konten portal berita dan pengumpulan dokumen terkait kinerja media jurnalistik pasca pandemi COVID-19 di Jakarta dan Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan terjadinya perubahan pola kerja yang signifikan pada jurnalis dalam melakukan liputan jurnalistik sebelum dan sesudah COVID-19. Model komunikasi berbasis daring antara jurnalis dengan sumber berita dan pengumpulan dokumen berbasis daring membuat kualitas berita menurun, melahirkan berita yang seragam yang menunjang propaganda stabilitas ekonomi dan politik pemerintah. Pemerintah adalah narasumber dominan dan menjadi pihak yang paling diuntungkan ketimbang publik. Memasuki era normal baru di Indonesia, studi ini merekomendasikan perlunya suatu regulasi yang memperkuat independensi redaksional dan kualitas jurnalistik pada kegiatan liputan bencana serupa.

Abstract

Kemudahan dalam mengakses berbagai sumber informasi kesehatan secara online serta situasi pandemimendorong terjadinya perubahan perilaku pencarian informasi kesehatan. Beberapa tantangan munculterkait aksesibilitas layanan kesehatan serta tingkat literasi yang belum merata. Seiring dengan prosestransformasi teknologi yang berlangsung diperlukan gambaran terkait pemanfaatan media baru sebagaisumber informasi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa jauh layanan website kesehatandapat memenuhi harapan pengguna dengan melihat persepsi pengguna menggunakan kerangka Uses andGratification dalam konteks kesehatan melalui besaran gratifikasi yang diharapkan (GS) dan diperoleh (GO).Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei kuisioner yang dilakukan kepada 96 respondendi Jakarta, Bandung, dan Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aspek kemudahan penggunaan sebagaipertimbangan utama dengan nilai rata-rata 3,55, sedangkan aspek kualitas informasi tidak dipersepsi sebagaipertimbangan utama dengan nilai rata-rata 3,31. Website kesehatan dipandang memberikan kepuasantertinggi dalam kemampuan pencarian informasi kesehatan dengan nilai rata-rata 3,56 dan kepuasan terendahdalam kemampuan berbagi informasi kesehatan dengan nilai rata-rata 3,36. Kesenjangan kepuasan tertinggiditunjukkan oleh aspek penyelesaian masalah dan pengambilan keputusan kesehatan serta pengelolaanriwayat komunikasi kesehatan. Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi diskusi pengembangan riset ke depan terkaitdengan pemahaman kualitas informasi kesehatan, pola pengambilan keputusan kesehatan, pengelolaanriwayat medis serta memberikan informasi terkait upaya penguatan layanan kesehatan digital di Indonesia.

Abstract

Most Muslims in Indonesia believe that the 'habaib' (the plural of the word 'habib') have a lineage from the Prophet Muhammad SAW, so their existence must be glorified and respected. Television media responded to this in various ways. The careers of the Habib expanded not only in the field of Islamic da'wah but also in politics, as shown by figures such as Habib Rizieq Shihab and the former organization he led, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). Television media highlighted the political roles of these habibs with various news constructions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the perspective of television media in framing news about the figure of Habib Rizieq Shihab and claims to be descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and to find a model for framing television media in reporting about 'Habib' in the perspective of claiming descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This research uses the constructivism paradigm with qualitative research method with framing analysis approach. Namely through data collection techniques through several news broadcasts on three television media, interviews, and observations. The results of this study conclude that every television media report that reports about Islamic figures of Arab descent in Indonesia always brings up models and perspectives of news about the object being reported. The many roles of Habib such as Habib Rizieq Shihab are viewed with different perspectives by the news television media. Some Indonesian citizens of Arab descent who are predicated as 'habib' provide different perspectives for television coverage such as KompasTV, MetroTV, and TVOne. The television media KompasTV and MetroTV do not always agree that their reporting about the activities of the 'habaib' is related to the lineage of descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

The government Surabaya city is one that uses Instagram as a forum for delivering information to the people of Surabaya, especially during crisis conditions like now, this research on this analysis aims to analyze the Instagram content of the Surabaya city government, namely @sapawargasby which is managed by the Surabaya Department of Communication and Information during the period. the beginning of the covid 19 pandemic to the mid-pandemic period. This @sapawargasby Instagram analysis research uses qualitative research methods, namely, using a case study method with discourse analysis techniques. Data collection was done secondary by means of screenshots / screenshots of Instagram account posts @sapawargasby for later analysis and drawing conclusions related to problem formulations. The results showed that the Surabaya city government was very active and creative in presenting information on Instagram, almost every day the @sapawargasby account posted everything about the policies or activities of the Surabaya city government, and in the early days of the pandemic, it was seen that the Surabaya city government was very responsive in making prevention and application of health protokols to inhibit the Covid-19 virus, not only that on Instagram, it also displays other policies that are very beneficial to the people of Surabaya, such as giving free seeds and deductions for building permits, even though in the middle of the pandemic there were several posts related to the covid virus 19 began to decrease, but the attention of the Surabaya city government is still clearly visible, the activeness and transparency of the Surabaya city government in utilizing social media technology, both imitated by governments in other regions.

Abstract

Salah satu misi yang ingin diusung oleh Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) Riau-Kepri sebagai lembaga penyiaran publik (LPP) adalah menyelenggarakan siaran yang mendidik, menghibur, serta memberi pelayanan informasi yang sehat dan berimbang, dalam membangun budaya daerah dan sebagai kontrol sosial. Hal ini menjadi suatu tantangan bagi seorang pengarah acara untuk dapat berfikir secara kreatif dalam menghasilkan suatu program acara hiburan yang menarik pemirsa ditengah persaingan industri televisi dewasa ini. Dalam  menghasilkan suatu program acara hiburan yang menarik tentunya seorang pengarah acara harus memiliki berbagai strategi dan berkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan mengkaji bagaimana strategi pengarah acara dalam menyajikan suatu program acara hiburan di pada LPP TVRI Riau Kepri. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dimana sumber data didapatkan dari proses observasi, wawancara dengan pihak terkait serta studi literatur yang relevan. Program Hiburan di LPP TVRI Riau Kepri selalu medapat dukungan dari TVRI pusat baik SDM maupun pendanaan. Selain itu dalam strategi LPP TVRI Riau Kepri harus tetap mengikuti perkembangan jaman baik teknologi maupun sosial, karena dengan demikina maka  TVRI Riau Kepri dapat bertahan.

Abstract

Kemampuan teknis kecabangan umumnya pasti dikuasai oleh pelatih karena mereka yang berprofesi pelatih adalah mantan atlet atau person yang sudah memiliki sertifikasi kepelatihan dari berbagai macam penataran, training dan coaching clinic. Namun kemampuan melakukan komunikasi dalam kepelatihan belum tentu sepenuhnya dikuasai oleh kebanyakan pelatih.. Ttjuan penelitian ini adalah menambah pengembangan teoritis terhadap kajian komunikasi kepelatihan olah raga terutama dalam proses pelatihan fisik dan mental atlet dalam meningkatkan prestasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi kepelatihan di antara empat cabang olah raga yang berbeda antara pelatih dan atlet berkembang dalam proses pelatihan dan diluar pelatihan. Bentuk komunikasi kepelatihan selama pelatihan dan di luar pelatihan umumnya adalah bersifat langsung tatap muka. Metode yang digunakan dalam  komunikasi kepelatihan adalah menggunakan ceramah, dan demonstrasi serta juga melibatkan media video untuk lebih memberikan stimuli motivasi prestasi kepada masing-masing atlet. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam komunikasi kepelatihan adalah pendekatan keterbukaan, kekeluargaan dan personal dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi serta pemanfaatan video. Pemilihan metode dan pendekatan  komunikasi kepelatihan tersebut sudah terbukti mampu memotivasi dan membangun kepercayaan diri atlet serta atlet dapat menerima dan menfsirkan pesan instruksional yang disampaikan dan diinginkan oleh para pelatih. Saran dan rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan dalam penelitian ini adalah pada sertifikasi pelatih pada masing-masing pelatih cabang olah raga.

Abstract

Many surveys show that the level of public trust in the Indonesian parliament (DPR) often occupies the lowest position compared to other government institutions. This study aims the efforts of the PR Bureau of the DPR in organizing the Parlemen Remaja (the Youth Parliament) program as an attempt to improve public trust and reputation through political education for the younger generation, to understand better the reputation management and relationship management mechanisms applied by PR Bureau of the DPR. The research method using an evaluation was carried out using the reputation management theory and relationships management theory of political public relations. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature study and in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that the Youth Parliament program is considered helpful in increasing student interest in politics, providing opportunities to interact with the community, and can improve their perception of the DPR. Moreover, the students can be used as brand ambassadors for the DPR by endorsing the Indonesian parliament on social media and doing word of mouth in their social milieu. It can be concluded that the program is fruitful in increasing positive perceptions and bridging the relationship between the DPR and its key stakeholders, but it is not significant enough to increase public trust and the institution's reputation.
