Abstract

The rainfall-runoff model is required to ascertain the relationship between rainfall and runoff. Hydrologists are often confronted with problems of prediction and estimation of runoff using the rainfall date. In actual fact the relationship of rainfall-runoff is known to be highly non-linear and complex. The spatial and temporal precipitation patterns and the variability of watershed characteristics create a more complex hydrologic phenomenon. Runoff is part of the rain water that enters and flows and enters the river body. Rainfall-runoff modeling in this study using Artificial Neural Network, back propagation method and sigmoid binary activation function. This model is used to simulate single or long-term continuous events, water volume, making it very appropriate for urban areas. Back propagation is an inherited learning algorithm and is commonly used by perceptron with multiple layers to change the weights associated with neurons in the hidden layer. Back propagation algorithm uses output error to change the values of its weight in the backward direction. The location of the review is the Ciujung River Basin (DAS), the data used are rainfall and debit data of Ciujung River from 2011-2017. Based on training and simulation results, obtained R2 value: 2012 = 0,85102; 2013 = 0,78661; 2014 = 0,81188; 2015 = 0,77902; 2016 = 0,7279. on model 2 = 0,8724. On model 3 R2:  January = 0,96937; February = 0,92984; March = 0,90666; April = 0,92566; May = 0,9128; June = 0,87975; July= 0,85292; August = 0,95943; September = 0,88229; October = 0,90537; November = 0,93522; December = 0,9111. with MSE (Mean Squared Error) of 0,0018479. The closer value of MSE to 0 and the value of R2 close to 1 then the better designed artificial neural network. If the data used for training more, the artificial neural network will produce a larger R2 value.

Abstract

Quality of Service merupakan metode pengukuran tentang seberapa baik jaringan yang terpasang dan juga merupakan suatu usaha untuk mendefinisikan karakteristik dan sifat dari satu layanan. Dengan dibuatnya sistem pembayaran online yang terdapat di PT. PLN (Persero) Jember, layanan internet yang digunakan hendaknya harus memenuhi standar TIPHON (Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Networks). Maka diperlukan optimasi kinerja QoS sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kualitas layanan data yang harus dipenuhi. Parameter QoS yang digunakan untuk analisis layanan komunikasi data adalah jitter, packet loss, throughtput, dan delay. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa pada jam sibuk (09.00-11.00 WIB) dan non sibuk (11.00-13.00 WIB) mendapatkan hasil rata – rata indeks QoS sebesar 2,125 dalam kategori “kurang memuaskan”. Dengan kapasitas bandwidth yang disediakan sebesar 3 Mbps. Kemudian dari hasil perhitungan optimasi bandwidth yang diperlukan sebesar 7,154 Mbps dan disimulasikan mendapatkan rata–rata indeks  QoS yang sebesar 3,5 dalam kategori “sangat memuaskan”.

Abstract

MRI adalah bagian dari ilmu kedokteran untuk mediagnosa kelainan organ dengan memanfaatkan medan magnet dan pergerakan proton atom hidrogen. Salah satu pemeriksaan MRI adalah pemeriksaan brain. Pemeriksaan MRI brain dapat dilakukan T1 weighted image Spin Echo (T1 SE) atau T1 Fluid Attenuated Inversion Recovery (T1 FLAIR). Kajian dilakukan untuk menentukan perbedaan T1 SE dan T1 FLAIR dari segi citra berdasarkan nilai Rasio Signal terhadap Noise (SNR) dengan MRI GE Type Signa HD xt 1.5 Tesla. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.  20 pasien  telah diambil pada pemeriksaan MRI brain pada potongan axial, dengan parameter T1 SE potongan axial dengan parameter Time Repetition (TR) 700 ms, Time Echo (TE) 20 ms, Field of View (FOV) 240 mm, Slice Thickness 5,0 mm, Spacing 1,0 mm, Number of Excitations (NEX) 1, Phase 224, dan total slice 20. T1 FLAIR  parameter TR 3000 ms, TE 13,9 ms, TI 920 ms, FOV 240 mm, slice thickness 5,0 mm, spacing 1,0 mm,   NEX 1, phase 224, dan total slice 20. SNR dihitung pada anatomi brain meliputi CSF (Cerebro Spinal Fluid), White Matter dan Gray Matter. Hasil penelitian kedua sequence tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sequence T1 SE lebih baik daripada sequence T1 FLAIR.

Abstract

With the advancement of social media and its growth, there is a lot of data that can be presented for research in social mining. Twitter is a microblogging that can be used. In this event, a lot of companies used the data on Twitter to analyze the satisfaction of their customer about product quality. On the other hand, a lot of users use social media to express their daily emotions. The case can be developed into a research study that can be used both to improve product quality, as well as to analyze the opinion on certain events. The research is often called sentiment analysis or opinion mining. While The previous research does a particularly useful feature for sentiment analysis, but it is still a lack of performance. Furthermore, they used Support Vector Machine as a classification method. On the other hand, most researchers found another classification method, which is considered more efficient such as Maximum Entropy. So, this research used two types of a dataset, the general opinion data, and the airline's opinion data. For feature extraction, we employ four feature extraction, such as pragmatic, lexical-grams, pos-grams, and sentiment lexical. For the classification, we use both of Support Vector Machine and Maximum Entropy to find the best result. In the end, the best result is performed by Maximum Entropy with 85,8% accuracy on general opinion data, and 92,6% accuracy on airlines opinion data.

Abstract

Application of SS 316 metal is commonly used as a building material in the chemical industry. This material is commonly used because it has good mechanical properties, corrosion resistant, but in reality, the SS 316 L metal can corrosive its acid environment, making it easy to solve the problem. corrosion. Therefore, this study is aimed to study SS316L corrosion level in H2SO4 acid by using weight loss method with 1 day, 3 days and 5 days immersion in H2SO4 environment with concentration 0,1 M, 0,3 M and 0,5 M The results showed that the corrosion rate increased with increasing concentration of H2SO4 and yield up to 5 days with average corrosion rate (CR) 2.729078 x 10-6 mpy. Morphological damage SS 316 L is demonstrated by SEM (Electron Microscope Scanning) there is a pitting corrosion on the metal surface

Abstract

Ditengah persaingan saat ini yang sangat ketat menuntut perusahaan harus dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya agar dapat terus mempertahankan pelanggan yang dimilikinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui mengetahui perbedaan (gap) antara persepsi pelanggan dengan harapan pelanggan terhadap kualitas pelayanan, mendapatkan gambaran tentang atribut kualitas apa yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan, dan mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap kualitas pelayanan perusahaan selama ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode servqual dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari survei yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pelanggan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 pelanggan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa gap rata – rata yang diperoleh bernilai negative yaitu -0,323 dengan tingkat kepuasan rata - rata 92,83% yang berarti pelayanan yang diberikan masih berada di bawah harapan dari pelanggan. Gap tertinggi berada pada dimensi empati yaitu sebesar -0,465 dengan tingkat kepuasan 89,83%. Dan gap dengan nilai terendah berada pada dimensi reliable yaitu sebesar -0,227 dengan tingkat kepuasan sebesar 94,97%. Dari analisa matrix importance performance didapat atribut teknologi yang modern dan pemberian informasi yang mudah dimengerti berada pada kuadran I, yang berarti atribut ini harus dilakukan perbaikan.

Abstract

Bearing acts as a pad that supports a shaft to rotate without excessive friction, hold the radial load and maintain the motion towards the left and right shafts (Thrust Load) when turning together. Due to frequent taper bearing damage to the wheels, predictive maintenance is therefore necessary. One of the predictive maintenance methods widely used today is vibration analysis. The principles of vibration-based bearing damage detection using the Frequency Response Function (FRF) method will be shown in this paper. Harmonics signal is given to the bearing surface in a vertical or perpendicular direction to the taper bearing surface. The vibration response measurement was carried out on three axes (x, y, and z). The results of this study indicated the ability of FRFs to predict any damage on the bearing taper.

Abstract

Kondisi gedung yang memiliki banyak ruangan juga terdapat banyak redaman yang mengakibatkan pelemahan sinyal sehingga diperlukan adanya perencanaan jaringan nirkabel. Tulisan ini membahas perencanaan jaringan 4G LTE pada Gedung A Fakultas Teknik Universitas Jember yang kemudian disimulasikan oleh perangkat lunak Radiowave Propagation Simulator (RPS) 5.4 dengan variasi pengambilan data berupa jenis antena dan letak ketinggian Femtocell Access Point (FAP). Perencanaan jaringan 4G LTE menggunakan metode propagasi indoor COST 231 Multi Wall diperoleh jumlah FAP yang dibutuhkan pada Lantai 1 sebesar 2 FAP, Lantai 2 sebesar 4 FAP, dan Lantai 3 sebesar 4 FAP. Analisa cakupan yang efektif pada perencanaan jaringan 4G LTE indoor diperoleh saat FAP menggunakan jenis isotropic antenna dan letak ketinggian FAP 2 meter dari permukaan lantai seperti pada Lantai 1 saat ketinggian FAP 2 meter dan menggunakan dipole antenna diperoleh mean level daya sebesar -88,04 dBm dan isotropic antenna diperoleh mean level daya sebesar -87,89 dBm, sedangkan saat FAP 3,5 meter menggunakan dipole antenna diperoleh mean level daya sebesar -88,89 dBm dan isotropic antenna diperoleh mean level daya sebesar -88,33 dBm. Perencanaan jaringan 4G LTE menggunakan RPS 5.4 dan metode COST 231 Multi Wall dapat diterapkan pada Gedung A Fakultas Teknik Universitas Jember.

Abstract

Kinerja merupakan suatu tampilan keadaan secara utuh atas perusahaan selama periode waktu tertentu. PT. BPAS adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri papan semen. Selama ini sistem pengukuran kinerja di PT. BPAS belum merepresentasikan kinerja organisasi secara komprehensif dan integratif. Oleh sebab itu pengukuran kinerja perlu dilakukan pada PT. BPAS dengan menggunakan metode Performance Prism dan Scoring OMAX agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan secara maksimal. Performance Prism merupakan pengukuran yang terintegrasi, meliputi seluruh aspek perusahaan (stakeholder) yang menyangkut kepuasan stakeholder dan kontribusi stakeholder, strategi, proses dan kapabilitas kepada perusahaan. Pengukuran kinerja dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan secara bertahap dengan menggunakan beberapa metode antara lain pembobotan dengan Analytical Hierachy Process (AHP) untuk mengetahui skala nilai prioritas setiap KPI, Scoring System dengan metode Objectives Matrix (OMAX) dan Traffic Light System untuk mengetahui level setiap KPI pada perusahaan di tingkat korporasi. Dari hasil pengukuran kinerja pada PT. BPAS terdapat 16 KPI yang telah sesuai dengan harapan, 19 KPI yang masih memiliki performa yang cukup namun perlu diperhatikan dan 5 KPI yang memiliki performa sangat rendah. Sehingga didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu perusahaan perlu memperbaiki 5 KPI kinerja agar perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keseluruhan kinerjanya secara maksimal.

Abstract

Anyer Beach is one of the famous tourist destinations. In addition to tourist destinations, the Anyer beach also has residential and industrial areas. In managing coastal areas, a study of vulnerability is needed due to threats from sea level rise, abrasion/erosion and also high waves that can damage infrastructure and cause losses. The research method is to collect data of hydro-oceanography, coastal vulnerability index calculates (Coastal Vulnerability Index). The coastal vulnerability index is a relative ranking method based on the index scale physical parameters such as geomorphology, shoreline change, elevation, sea level rise, mean tidal, wave height. On the results of the analysis of the criteria of vulnerability based on the parameters of geomorphology in the category of vulnerable with scores of 4, shoreline change in the category of vulnerable with a score of 4, the elevation in the category of extremely vulnerable with scores of 5, sea level rise into the medium category with a score of 3, mean tidal in the category less susceptible with a score of 2, the wave height is very vulnerable in the category with a score of 5. The variable that most influences the vulnerability of Anyer Beach is elevation and wave height.
