Abstract

The announcement of the first PSBB decision is a non-economic event that can affect stock price movements. Signaling theory is the basis of this research. The latest information signals that the regional quarantine announcement can affect the stock price index movement in the capital market. Abnormal returns and trading volume activity are indicators that measure the reaction rate of a stock in the capital market. This study aims to determine whether there is an average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the announcement of the PSBB decision. This research is an event study that studies the market reaction with a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study are company stocks listed on the LQ45 index for February - July 2020 using the Purposive Sampling technique. The research period is five days before and after the event (a total of ten days). The hypothesis test used is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The result was differences in abnormal returns before and after the event. The Wilcoxon signed rank test results on the trading volume activity variable did not find any significant difference in trading volume before and after the announcement regarding the initial PSBB decision.

Abstract

The collection of retribution for waste in Gresik Regency is experiencing problems due to limited human resources collecting retribution. These problems have an impact on payments and billing processes manually. To overcome these problems, the Department of the Environment should innovate by adopting e- payment for market service retribution for the City of Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research focuses on applying retribution payment in the Gresik Regency and analyzing the feasibility of adopting e-payment in the Gresik Regency. The results of this study are the manual method is considered ineffective because collecting retribution payment data takes a long time and indicates illegal levies. The implementation of e-payment using the virtual account method is considered applicable because transactions can be done anywhere. Based on a SWOT analysis, E-payment is feasible to be implemented in the retribution for waste services if it pays attention to the urgency of understanding information technology from the Environmental Service and planning for mature technology adoption in collaboration with the Gresik District Communication and Information Agency, as well as stakeholder participation. To take part in the preparation of business strategies to the process of compiling e- payment technology.

Abstract

One of the employees required to have optimal performance is an employee within the scope of a health service organization. There are indications of problems in the performance of non-medical health workers at Aliyah General Hospital, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. Researchers built the perception that their low performance could be influenced by perceived organizational support, work environment, reward, punishment, or job satisfaction. The study was conducted at Aliyah General Hospital (1, 2, and 3) in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. This study used a quantitative approach with 157 respondents. Data analysis used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that perceived organizational support did not significantly affect employee performance and job satisfaction. In contrast, the work environment significantly affected employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction cannot mediate perceived organizational support on employee performance; on the contrary, it has a mediating effect on the work environment on performance. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees of the Aliyah General Hospital in Kendari City is driven by their work environment, especially the support of colleagues.
