Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a scientific-based learning module on a valid ecological concept, practical and effective to the students of Senior High School. The development procedures of the research employed Thiagarajan Model or 4-D Model which consisted of four stages, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The data were collected through learning module validation process, students and teachers' responses questionnaire, learning implementation observation sheet, and learning result test. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The results of the research reveal that Biology learning module based on scientific approach is valid, practical, and effective. It is stated as valid because Biology learning module based on scientific approach which is developed had met validity criteria with "Valid" category. It is stated as practical because the learning implementation by using Biology learning module based on scientific approach had learning implementation in high category, and students and teachers positive responses on the module. It is stated as effective because it had fulfilled effectiveness namely the students' learning result test had met classical completeness criteria by 84.21%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the package about the Academic Potential Test, to know the procedure of equalizing the package of test of Academic Potential Test and to know how to get two sets of tests that have equality with the method of testEquatigdata .. The type of research is explorative, which will reveal the equivalence of test scores based on response- Items. Tithe equivalence procedure, horizontal equalizer selection, common item nonequivalent group equalization selection, third parameter estimation using 2P model (different power and difficulty level) and four equalization process using testEquatingData. Results Equivalence tests with the EQuestData method based on the grain response theory using the 2 parameter model, indicating that the average difficulty level on both packages differs from the packet value of 01 (-1.32934) and the packet value 02 (-2.63645). While the difference between the two packages is different and shows that it can not distinguish the ability of the participants, between high ability and low participant ability, based on the value of package 01 (-0.26831) and package 02 (-0.37774).

Abstract

In this study, we discuss about Jigsaw type cooperative learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes on the basic competence of cubes and beams of students of class VIIIA SMP. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in SMPN 2 Lasusua Year Learning 2016/2017 even semester. This study uses two cycles, each cycle has procedures such as planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw type can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. The value after the first cycle action increased compared with the initial test of 45,85 to 65,75. Furthermore the average score of students after the second cycle action increased compared with the average score of students on the implementation of the first cycle action that is 65,75 to 80,60 and has met the predetermined performance indicators that 85% of students have received a minimum score of 65.

Abstract

The objectives of the research (1) the implementation of assertive training technique in reducing negative conformities toward peer group, (2) the students negative conformities before and after being given assertive training technique, (3) assertive training technique in reducing negative conformities toward peer group. The research employed quantitative approach by using true experimental design with pretest-postest control group design. The subjects of the research were 22 students of class IX who were identified they had high negative conformities toward peers. Thw data collection technique employed negative conformitas scale, observation, and interview. The results of the research reveal that (1) the implementation of assertive training technique in reducing negative conformities toward peer group is implemented based on the procedure designed in 5 meetings, (2) negative conformities towards peer group before the implementation of assertive training technique is in high category. However, after the implementation of assertive training technique, peer group is in low category, (3) the implementation of assertive training technique in reducing negative conformities toward peer group at SMPN 1 Sungguminasa, meaning that the students who were given the implementation of assertive training technique showed the reduction of negative conformities toward peer

Abstract

The purpose of this empirically is to get a clear picture of low intervensi given mild mental retardation (cerebral palsy) in children to improve their academic abilities. Research that started from Maret 2017 through may 2017, on a boy named AMR student in the Homeschooling Seto Brothers (HKS) Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. The collection of data through observation, interview and document research. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The result sducahowedan increase in academic knowledge after being given an educational intervention for 4 months. This is evidenced by the significant increase in work in class AMR, The LKS (Student Worksheet). Suggestions keep motivate students to remain willing to learn, the cooperation between teachers and parents should pay more attention to giving the effect is more significant in the progress of interventions undertaken in the school, pursued no alternations teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of the study are produce a proper textbook that can be used at school by knowing the process of learning on the implementation of Integrated Natural Sciences Disaster Mitigation textbook for students, to find the efectivity of textbook that is developed. The study is conducted by using research and development with Borg and Gall model. The stages five study development. Analysis of feasibility and book effectiveness are conducted by testing the normality, homogeneity, hypothesis, and textbook effectiveness. The results of the study show that (1) expert test on Integrated Natural Sciences Disaster Mitigation material is in Very Good qualification (94.4%) (2) expert test on teaching media is in Very Good qualification (96.3%) (3) book feasibility of the user is in Very Good qualification (85.9%) for teachers and Very Good qualification (90.1%) for students. (4) on limited and extensive trial show that the data is normal distributed but it is not homogeny that why then the researcher used Kruskall Wallis Test with p-level 0,000 is less than alpha 0,05 (p < 0,05). It means that there is influence of the implementation of Integrated Natural Sciences Disaster Mitigation textbook model on students’ achievement.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the use of Barron’s TOEIC preparation course package to improve the listening of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011.The objectives of the research were to find out whether or not the use of Barron’s TOEIC preparation course package significantly improves the listening ability of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011.The research used quasi experimental research design. The samples consisted of 50 students which belonged to two groups; experimental group and control group. The research data were collected using two the listening test was given to the both groups. The research results indicated that the use of Barron’s TOEIC preparation course package significantly improved the listening ability of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011. The results of posttest of both groups were improved, but the use of Barron’s TOEIC preparation course package was more improved than English in Progress Business & Management for SMK Year XI: TOEIC based Activities, By Munash F. Anwar. It was proved by the result of mean score of posttest of the experimental was higher than the control group in listening (85.00 > 79.40).

Abstract

This research aims at examining the implementation of academic supervison by schools’ supervisors, supervision by the principals and teachers’ performances, the influence of the implementation of academic supervision by schools’ supervisors toward teachers’ performance, the influence of supervision by principal toward teachers’ performance and the influence of the implementation of academic supervision by supervisors and the supervision by the principals simultaneously toward teachers’ performance at SMKN in Majene district. Type ex post facto research, with 210 teachers of civil servants as a population in the sample of 138 teachers determined by proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires with teacher respondents. Instrument development begins content validation, grains and instruments. Analysis using descriptive analysis and infrensial analysis. The results of descriptive analysis indicate that the implementation of supervision of school supervisor supervision is not done well and categorized low, supervision of principal executed well and categorized high and performance of teacher executed well and categorized high. The results of inferential analysis using linear regression indicate that; (1) the implementation of academic supervision by schools’ supervisors give significant influence toward teachers’ performances, (2) supervision by the principals significant influence toward teachers’ performances, (3) the implementation of academic supervision by schools’ supervisors and supervision by the principals collectively give significant influence toward teachers’ performance.
