Abstract

Personality of a teacher should be a role model for students. This is because the personality of the teacher have direct and cumulative effect on student behavior. Behavior of the teacher in teaching directly or indirectly have an influence on student’s motivation either positive or negative in nature, means that, if the teachers personality displayed in accordance with the expectations of student teaching, students will be motivated to learn well.

Abstract

Islam is a logical religion. Consequently, those who cannot think logically cannot be categorized as those who poseses a religion. A logical religion is one that has rational or logical teachings. This also means that those who believe in such a religion will not become a blind following taqlid, this is even worse if the followed only one or certain madzhab or school.

Abstract

According to Jacques C. Reiser opinion that during 500 years Islam was empowered whole world accompaniying by strength, science and a great civilization. There are many islamic contribution to the world‟s civilization and education, such as finding some mathematic concepts, medicinal treatments, and gave contribution for renaisance and enlighment age in Europe. This progress which was produced by islamic civilization, especially the science field was previoused by moeslem spirit and effort within searching for the science before. This papper will explain the historical study abaut the foundation of islamic science searching and its developing started at prophet periode untill the middle age (Abbasiya periode).

Abstract

Education reform in Indonesia initiated the decentralization of education. Decentralization of education is meant kewengan central government and provincial government allowed only limited autonomy organizing activities specified in government regulations. While the local government authority covering the planning, implementation, monitoring, control and evaluation. Form of education decentralization is local autonomy which gave birth to school-based management. There are some who carried out the order of SBM reforms such as planning and evaluation of programs and curriculum management. In an effort optimasilsi implementation of MBS is the first regulation kewenagan clear between central and local government, and education units. To-two Need for Reform MBS according to the characteristics of Indonesia All three Application MBS in total. All four should be the training of MBS to the organizers of education and socialization model of MBS to Stakeholders

Abstract

Career counseling is a process of assistance, information services and approach to the individual/ group of individuals to be able to know and understand themselves, to know the world of work to determine the career choice, able to take career decisions and acknowledge that the decision is the most appropriate / in accordance with the situation himself associated with requirements to be practiced career. Given the importance of career problems in human life, the children need to be prepared early on and helped to plan for a brighter future, by providing education and career guidance sustainable. Schools have an important role in career guidance. Through career counseling in elementary, junior high, high school and college facilitate learners in the achievement of his career.

Abstract

Fundamental social change in an era of globalization that tends to establish communication between the population of the world without any barriers of a countrys territorial boundaries resulted in the acceleration of the shift cultural values also result in the acceleration of the shifting role of education within the scope of the informal and formal and non-formal. To face the reality of this change, the author of a scientific journal article recommends three kinds of alternatives role of education in passing cultural values to the next generation successor to current and future generations.
