Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of science process skills the applies to the inquiry training learning model, conventional learning, and to the differences in skills the process of science students. The research is a quasi experimental and the sample using the method of a cluster random sampling. The result showed the average value of the pretest experimental class 37,5 with the standard deviation 6,93 and the average value of the control class 36,8 with the standard deviation 7,10. In both classes of the test data obtained pretest that the ability of the students at the beginning of the second class of the same. After the treatment is given experimental class with inquiry training learning model and control class with conventional learning model the data obtained with the postest average yield experimental class and control class was 74,83 and 69,07. In both classes of the test data obtained posttes that both classes of data are normally distibuted and homogeneous along with there is the difference at a result of effect the training inquiry learning model to the science proses skills in learning physics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the conceptual physics students learning outcomes on temperature and heat subject matter. The sampling technique was conducted in cluster random sampling. Experimental class was a class X TPTU-2 and the control class was a class X TSM-1 consist 35 students each of classes. The instrument used was a multiple choice tested on students conceptual ability about 20 multiple choice questions. The gain value of cooperative learning model typed Group Investigation 0.29 included in the moderate category and the conventional learning was 0.12 included in the low category. Proved from hypothesis tested in cooperative learning model typed Group Investigation towards students conceptual ability was better than conventional learning in class X semester II of SMK in temperature and heat subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning model for learning outcomes on geometrical optics material in class X MAN 2 Tanjung Pura T.A 2015/2016. This study is a quasi experimental design with two group pretest-posttest. The population in the study were all students of class X MAN 2 Tanjung Pura. Sampling was done by clusster random sampling by taking two classes, namely class X-2 as the experimental class and class X-3 as the control class numbering, 38 students for grade 39 students for the experimental and control classes. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes are shaped achievement test essay test with the number of 10 questions. Achievement test in validkan by the validator. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using different test (t-test) results obtained studying the application of problem based learning model has a better improvement than the learning outcomes of students who applied by conventional learning at opyika geometric in class X the second half MAN 2 Tanjung Pura TA 2015 / 2016.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the effect of science process skills of students among the Inquiry Training (IT). This research is quasi- experimental study using pre-test and pos-test design. The population study of class X SMA Negeri 7 Tanjungbalai. Techniques that used to gain a simple is cluster random sampling, with a sample of two classes, class X-l as an experimental class and class X-4 as an convensional class. The instruments of this study were the science process skills test in the form of an essay test as many as six items, the affective, and psikomotoric was used observasion sheet. The analysis results showed that physics science process skills use Inquiry Training (IT)is different and showed better result compared with conventional learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of reseach to investigate the effect of guided inquiry learning model on students conceptual knowledge in fluid static topic at XI class semester II SMA Negeri 1 Salapian A.y.2015/2016. This reseach was quasi experiment. The population was all student of class XI semester II  consided 3 class. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling XI IPA 2 selected as experiment class while XI IPA 1 as control class. The instruments used in the essay test form and observation sheet to measure activity learning student. Result of research obtained average pretest value of experiment class 25.82 while the average pretest value of control class 22.38. The average postest value of experiment class 79.05 while the average postest value of control 72.08. During the learning process the activity average value of student in experiment class 72.29 included active criterion. Proved hypothesis on result student learn to effect of guided inquiry model was better than conventional learning in fluid static topic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa Kelas X Semester II pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor SMA Negeri 1 Stabat T.P. 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Stabat. Penarikan sampel dengan cluster random samplingyaituX MIA-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran  Model Problem Based Learning sedangkan kelas X MIA-4 sebagai kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan pembelajaran Konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah tes uraian berjumlah 10 soal. Data penelitian yaitu dalam bentuk hasil belajar. Untuk data hasil belajar diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Dengan data yang sudah telah berdistribusi normal dan homogen maka dilakukan uji statistik dengan uji t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Nilai rata-rata hasil pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 28,4 dan kelas kontrol adalah 23,1. Dan nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen 69,3 dan kelas kontrol 39,5. Hasil uji pretes kedua sampel antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol mempunyai kemampuan awal yang sama. Setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning, kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol sehingga terbukti ada pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Semester II pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor SMA N 1 Stabat T.P 2015/2016.
