Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe learning activities in this digital era that must utilize internet media with various platforms including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning because PAI is a compulsory subject for all types and levels of education. PAI teachers are required to have the ability to modify their learning, so that PAI material will be interesting and liked by students. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of YouTube media in PAI learning. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis. The results of this study state that PAI teachers at Kartini Junior High School use YouTube a lot in their learning activities, especially when learning themes of worship that require practice, such as the theme of Hajj or Umrah, obligatory prayers, eclipse prayers, funeral prayers, and other worship services. From the measurement of students' attitudes, the results provide a lot of information and knowledge for students in PAI learning. YouTube media is not only a means of entertainment, attracting attention, and developing knowledge, but more than that it is able to provide clearer and broader information and knowledge on the topics studied. And the results of the assessment aspects in the use of YouTube media are cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. Thus, from these assessment aspects, students have excellent thinking and reasoning skills after learning PAI material with the help of YouTube media with a score of 8.

Abstract

This article aims to discover and explain the relationship between pedagogical studies and teachers’ teaching performance, which can be reflected in students’ learning outcomes. This article can be helpful and add insight into pedagogical studies' role in improving teacher teaching performance. In writing this article, the researchers used a method that can be referred to as library research. In this library research, the researchers used the media to collect library materials, such as books, journals, articles, and the like, to support this research in solving problems. The result is that pedagogic studies, in this case, pedagogic competencies, are very important for a teacher because they can help improve a teacher’s performance. Pedagogic studies and a teacher’s teaching performance have a proportional relationship; the better the teacher's ability/competence in pedagogic studies, the better the teacher's teaching performance is. Pedagogic Competence is a fundamental ability that teachers must possess and has an essential influence on Indonesian education. This is because pedagogically competent teachers must determine the success and failure of a learning process that will affect students' future.

Abstract

The study of the currently developing mode of thought of Islam (Mode of Thought), which is then known as contemporary Islamic thought, through an investigation of the logic and reasoning that has a role behind this thought. With regard to attitudes toward the emergence of modernism, liberalism, traditionalism, fundamentalism, cultural Islam, and structural Islam in general, the main problems of contemporary Islamic thought. The method used in this research is literature study, which tries to reveal by analyzing textually and contextually. Textual analysis is carried out using several interpretations and relevant journals, while contextual analysis is the author's understanding so as to form a complete understanding The results of the discussion can be described as follows The growth of contemporary modes of Islamic thought in order to straighten out the real meaning related to the existence of terms because these trends and modes of thought cannot escape from the dynamics of thought in the last four to five decades. We can see the defeat of science and technology, even the defeat of civilization during the defeat of Arab Islamic politics in 1967. Concern for cultural heritage, traditions, or turrets has created a new awareness so that it can be transformed into the present so that it remains current and can solve contemporary problems. Likewise, science and technology born of modernity are sought to be utilized for progress and solving contemporary problems. So the mode of contemporary Islamic thought generally makes epistemology, reason, 'aqal, book or paradigm as the basis for the growth and development of science and tradition as the object of their thought. Abstract

The knowledge that originated from the Muslims was adopted by Western people and applied by them in their country resulting in Western people experiencing the development of knowledge. The development of science in the West has been rejected by the teachings of the church because the science that developed is not in accordance with the teachings of the church which resulted in many Western scientists being killed. The incident gave rise to a scientific dichotomy, namely the division between general knowledge and religious knowledge. The use of the methodology in this study is a descriptive type of research because there is a goal to get answers that are associated with opinions and responses so that qualitative (descriptive) research must be carried out. The research method used in data collection is literature-based data collection aimed at processing data and information from written documents, namely books related to the research title. The results of the discussion can be described as follows: The influence of the scientific dichotomy by Western people affects civilization, especially in the field of education. Many educators do not know or do not want to know about this knowledge sharing. Until finally the dichotomy of science is believed to be different when in fact all knowledge only comes from one, namely Allah SWTt. Therefore, to eliminate this influence, a new concept is needed, namely Wahdatul Ulum. This concept is the opposite of the scientific dichotomy. In the education system, this concept is applied using a transdisciplinary concept in developing curriculum and learning strategies. Curriculum preparation plans that are implemented before the learning process takes place, while learning is an educator's activity in selecting and determining methods and media in the learning process.

Abstract

This paper aims to understand the reasoning of Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani through a descriptive qualitative approach, namely by collecting various kinds of literature related to Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani. Bayani is a methodology of thinking based on texts, this method existed before Islam came, Irfani is a method of thinking based on approaches and direct experience related to religious spiritual reality. The method used in this research is literature study, which tries to reveal by analyzing textually and contextually. Textual analysis is carried out using several interpretations and relevant journals, while contextual analysis is the author's understanding so as to form a complete understanding. The results of the discussion can be described as follows: Bayani is a thinking methodology based on the texts, this method existed before Islam came. It is the sacred text that has full authority in giving the direction and meaning of the truth, while the ratio only functions as a guard for the security of the text’s authority. Irfani is a method of thinking that is based on a direct approach and experience related to religious spiritual reality. And Burhani is a thinking methodology that is not based on texts or experience but on the basis of logical truths that when the existence of sacred texts and spiritual experiences can only be accepted if they are in accordance with logical rules

Abstract

Character education is something that is very important to carry out in everyday life both in the school environment and in society. If character education does not go well, it will cause problems for students. problems related to the declining character of students is evident from the records of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI). During the Covid-19 pandemic, the world of education experienced a lot of learning loss and a decline in student character, including many students who did not do the assignments given by the teacher, did not greet each other between students and teachers, denied the advice given by the teacher, were not disciplined in learning, and etc. This study uses qualitative research using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed by combining the Creswell model and Mathew and Hubermen, namely by performing three stages namely, data reduction (data reduction), data display (date display) / description, and interpretation/verification of data. To check the validity of the data, triangulation, member checking and extension of the observation were carried out The results of the study show that the forms of strengthening character education at Indralaya 1 Public Middle School include class, school culture, and community-based. The teacher's role in strengthening student character education at Indralaya 1 Public Middle School includes: as a learning manager, role model, facilitator, evaluator, and counselor. Factors that influence the strengthening of character education include: a) internal factors, including instincts, will, customs/habits, conscience, and heredity b) external factors, including schools and society

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Analyze teacher competence according to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's perspective. 2) Analyzing the contribution of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's thoughts on education and its relevance to Islamic education in Indonesia. This research is qualitative research that produces descriptive data To examine the problems that have been formulated, literature studies are used. Research data sources are grouped into (1) primary data sources are the original works of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, and (2) secondary data sources are written documents in the form of books and journals that discuss Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's thoughts. The results showed that: 1) The competencies that must be possessed by a teacher from the perspective of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan are sincerity, taqwa, knowledge, polite forgiving, and awareness of responsibility. Through these competencies, a teacher is expected to be an educator who can develop the potential of students 2) The book of Tarbiyatul Awlad Fil Islam itself has a contribution to Islamic education, namely Abdullah Nashih Ulwan offers a method of moral education for children in the family, including: 1. Abstract

Bullying behavior is considered commonplace nowadays, even though the impact is very large on the perpetrators and victims of bullying. Bullying behavior does not only occur in public areas but also educational buildings, not only regarding the use of inappropriate names but also rough touching. Researchers took Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya Middle School as one of Islamic education to get a solution for handling bullying behavior that should not occur in educational buildings, especially in pre-adolescent or junior high school students. Researchers took a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach through observation of research subjects in a personal way. The results of this approach are translated into a description in the form of a detailed sentence. In this study, the role of the PAI teacher is very influential in solving students who are victims or even perpetrators of bullying at school because religious immunization plays a very important role in reducing bullying behavior in schools. The role of the PAI teacher continues beyond giving theory in the classroom but also assists in the learning process by providing stimulus and motivation. Besides that, the teacher must also set a good example for his students in teaching and behavior inside and outside school.

Abstract

This paper is a study of the philosophy of Islamic education that seeks to formulate the concept of the purpose of Islamic education by examining the essential thing in the educational process, namely, humans. Referring to the main guideline for all forms of Islamic activity, namely the Qur'an, is the main source of this study. To limit the scope of the study, the author limits human verses that contain the sentence Human; then, to understand the meaning of the verses being studied, the author conducts an interpretive study of Prof. Hamka, Tafsir al-Azhar. The research paradigm is qualitative, and the type of research is library research with a philosophical approach. The analytical method that the author uses is content analysis to reveal the content of the message contained in the data source in this study, namely al-Azhar's interpretation. The research findings show that human nature lies in the potential or innate character possessed, namely Positive Potential and Negative Potential. In the process of education, all these potentials can be trained so that humans remain on the path of their creation goal. The goal of Islamic education that is needed is an integrated education. Education that is integrated between science (intellectual), faith (spiritual) and morals and morals (emotional). Not education that focuses on one of the potentials contained in humans

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) to describe and analyze how the strategy of the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House in Producing Huffaẓ in Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai; 2) to analyze the obstacles faced by the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House in Producing Huffaẓ in Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai; and 3) to describe how the results of the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House in Producing Huffaẓ in Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai. This study uses a qualitative method. While collecting data, researchers obtained by observation techniques, interviews and study documentation. The data source in this study was obtained from the research location, namely the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai. Related to the focus of this study are the Deputy Head of Madrasah for Curriculum and Student Affairs, & Facilities and Infrastructure, Teachers and Students at MTs Rumah Tahfiẓ Al-Qur'an, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai. The analysis used refers to model data. Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are: 1) The strategy of the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House in Producing Huffaẓ in Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai, is the muraja'ah strategy. 2) The obstacles faced by the Al-Qur'an Tahfiẓ House in Teluk Nibung District, Tanjung Balai, stem from two factors, namely a. Internal factors, lack of interest and talent, lack of self-motivation and older age. b. External factors include how the teacher provides guidance and the density of the material that students must learn. 3) The results of this study indicate that the strategy applied is appropriate and requires even stricter guidance from caregivers. The existence of good cooperation between teachers and students makes this strategy work well.
