Abstract

Kajian kesejahteraan pada guru anak usia dini belum banyak dikaji. Pemaknaan mengenai kesejahteraan psikologis pada guru akan memberikan gambaran mengenai bagaimana guru memaknai kesejahteraan terhadap profesinya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) untuk memahami bagaimana guru memaknai kesejahteraan. Partisipan melibatkan 5 narasumber guru Taman Kanak – Kanak di Kota Semarang yang sekolahnya memperoleh akreditasi A dan telah bekerja minimal 5 tahun. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur.Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa kesejahteraan bagi guru pendidikan usia dini mengacu pada perasaan bahagia dan tercukupi dalam menjalankan perannya sehingga mampu mengarahkannya pada pencapaian yang lebih baik. Kesejahteraan ini muncul dari rasa dicintai oleh siswa, teman guru dan orang tua; rasa dihargai; dan adanya rasa didukung. Perasaan sejahtera hadir semakin kuat apabila disertai rasa syukur dan adanya tujuan yang akan dicapai dan memberikan dampak positif bagi sekitar. Pemahaman ini akan membantu dalam proses diskusi mengenai pemetaan kebutuhan guru dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis.

Abstract

The idea of integration between psychology and Islam in Indonesia has been set up almost two decades. This scientifc discourse philosophically and methodologically illustrates Indonesian Muslim scientists vary in seeing Islam as a paradigm. Analyst identifes the integration can be classifed into two terms, either Islamic psychology (IP) or psychology of Islam (PoI) unfortunately both represent respectively a monodiscipline. If it is so, the integration is likely to reach its failure, since both of the terms entails a new dichotomy instead of an interdisciplinary study. By studying Islamic philosophy of science this paper –on one side- works to highlight a new synthesis within the dynamic of integration process, namely ftrah psychology (Psikologi Fitrah), yet criticize its methodological problem. On the other side, it focuses on the possibility of Islamic studies (Dirasat Islamiyya) in order to offer an adequate method for Muslim spiritual experiences. To that end, this paper proposes two major steps in fnding the method, namely by: 1) proposing falsifable project for two previous generations (IP and PoI); 2) re-examining a ‘self-consciousness’ method through essensial-authentic experience (irfānī) that has been handed down by the classical Islamic thinkers and scientists in Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kepriabdian, sikap terhadap pengendara bersiko, persepsi risiko dengan perilaku pengendara berisiko pada remaja. Jumlah subjek adalah 393, pria 39,9% dan wanita 60,1% dengan rerata umur 16,9, SD= 1.24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama variabel kepribadian (cemas, marah, mencari sensasi, altruisme dan nomlessness), sikap terhadap pengendara berisiko, persepsi risiko berperan terhadap perilaku berisiko pengendara pada remaja. Setelah di uji melalui hirarki regresi model, ditemukan hanya variabel mencari sensasi, sikap terhadap pengendara berisiko dan persepsi risiko yang konsisten berperan terhadap perilaku pengendara berisio pada remaja. Secara umum terdapat perbedaan antara faktor kepribadian, sikap terhadap pengendara bersiko, persepsi risiko perilaku pengendara bersiko berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Implikasi hasil akan dibahas dalam artikel ini, Kata-kata kunci: pengendara berisiko, kepribadaian, sikap, persepsi risiko, perilaku pengendara ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to the examined the correlation personality factor, risk driving attitude, risk perception and risk driving behavior. Total of participants were 393 (men: 39, 9% and women: 60, 1%).with mean of age 16, 9, SD 1, 24) from student and undergraduate student. The result showed that personality (anxiety, anger, sensation seeking, altruism, and formlessness), risk driving attitude, risk perception as predictor for youth risk driving behavior. After using hierarchical regression model, only sensation seeking, risk driving attitude, risk perception as predictor for youth risk driving behavior. In general, there are difference personality factor, risk perception and risk driving behavior based on the gender Implication of the result are discussed in this article. Abstract

The lack of prososial behavior among students, prevents them from performing their role as agent of change ang agent of control in the middle of society. Mainstreaming IQ as an indicator of intelligence and succes contributes to the occurrurrence of student apathy behavior. To counteract the phenomenon, need positive psychology-based research to though the excavation of prososial values, especially altruism and promote it among strudents. Researchers use mix method approach with sequensial explanatory aimed to test and understand the role of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence to build altruis behavior, especially in organization Aku berada di jalan Allah (AbdA), namely a voluntary organization created by a students who is famous for their activities in the field of orphan welfare in all the orphanages in Tulungagung. the results of the research of 35 volunteer studied showed that the level of EQ and SQ quantitatively influential in forming altruist behavior of AbdA’s volunteers. Qualitative research results also clarify and broaden the understanding of the relevance of EQ and SQ influence in altruist behavior of volunteers.

Abstract

This study aimed to find a training model of the of Islamic character development. The honest character was chosen by the researcher because it was called by the researcher as the root of all goodness in the Sahih Hadith of Rasul SAW. The research method consisted of a literature review and expert assessment. On the first phase, the researcher examined the basic concepts of honest morality according to Imam Al Ghazali. Furthermore the researcher developed the concept through the logoanalysis, behavior modification and character education. On the second phase, the component drafting of of Shidiq Personality Training Module was done. On the third phase, the researcher generated a training module guide for trainers. There were four experts who became the informants of the content validity of the training module. The result of the study was a module with a range of the material including The Importance of Being The Honest Personal, honesty in Intentionand Willingness, honesty insaying, honesty indetermination and ambition, honesty in action, honesty in Worship, Skills To Be Honest: Assertive Communication, Being Example of Honesty and the Reflection of the Honesty and the Diary of the Honesty.  The training activities were divided into two parts that were activities inside the session and activities outsidethe session.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to know the effectiveness of the SAS method (Structure Analytic Synthetic)  for improving the reading skills to slow learner children in SDN Demangan. The subject were 8 slow learner student, who were divided into two groups, 4 student in experimenal group and 4 student in control group. The characteristics subjects in this research was slow learner children and indicated a low reading skills. The hypothesis of this research was SAS method effective in improving reading skills for slow learner studentin SDN Demangan. This research was a pure experiment research with randomized pretest-posttest control group design or using two independent groups with pretest-postets design.  Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon were used as data analisys technique. The result of Wilcoxon analysis, between the scores of pretest and posttest in experimental group  is p = 0,011 (p < 0.05). These results indicated that there was differencess between the scores before and after in reading skills of group experiments. The results of Mann Whitney U analysis between a score of posttest control group and the experimental value obtained p = 0.019 (p < 0.05). These results indicated that there was a difference reading skills between the control group and experimental group. So it can be concluded that the SAS method is effective for improving the reading skills at subjects in this research.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal deeply the coping stress used by caregiver in its treatment to a spouse who have experienced stroke. This study used qualitative method with case study approach, using interview as data collection method. The data analysis technique used in this study was content analysis. The study involved two subject participants, both of them are patient’s wife who become caregivers of their husband and two others significant person. The results showed that the subjects I stress conditions caused more by the attitude of husband who is fussy and dual role that must be endured since her husband suffered a stroke. Subjects I more independent economically and have adequate social support so that is more likely to use the problem-focused coping in the form of informational seeking and confronting coping. The subject I only uses emotion-focused coping when distressed and feels unable to change the conditions. As a housewife, subject II economically depends on her husband as the family backbone, therefore she feels that the heaviest stress condition perceived from economic problem besides taking care of her unruly husband. Subject II which does not have social support out of her family tends to use emotion-focused coping in the form of avoidance and seeking social support to endure in a situation which perceived depressing. It is found in this study that the using of religious coping helps acceptance of the conditions that must be endured by both subjects.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the coping strategies used by each subject is influenced by social support and economic conditions underlying the subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi terhadap kelompok referensi dengan pengambilan keputusan membeli produk kosmetik tanpa label halal pada mahasiswi muslim. Hipotesis penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi terhadap kelompok referensi dengan pengambilan keputusan membeli produk kosmetik tanpa label halal pada mahasiswi muslim. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang menggunakan kosmetik tanpa label halal ini. Data diperoleh menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala pengambilan keputusan untuk membeli produk kosmetik tanpa label halal dari teori Assael (1998), dan skala persepsi terhadap kelompok referensi dari teori Assael (1992). Metode analisa data dengan teknis Pearson dan Product Moment, menunjukkan nilai korelasi r=0,369 dengan p=0,000. Hasil ini menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat signifikan persepsi terhadap kelompok referensi dengan pengambilan keputusan membeli produk kosmetik tanpa label halal pada mahasiswi muslim. Persepsi positif kelompok referensi berkontribusi sebesar 13,6% terhadap pengambilan keputusan membeli produk kosmetik tanpa label halal pada mahasiswi muslim. Kata kunci: perspektif positif, kelompok referensi, pengambilan keputusan membeli, produk kosmetik tanpa label halal Abstract The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between perceptions of reference group to the decision making to purchase cosmetic products without permitted halal label on woman students. Hypothesis of this study is that there is positive correlation between the perceptions of the reference group to the decision making to purchase cosmetic products without permitted halal label on woman students. The subjects of this study are the woman students of Syari’ah and Law Faculty, Sunan Kalijaga Islam State University, which use the cosmetic products without permitted halal label. The data was collected using two scale for it measurement, are the decision making scale to purchase cosmetic products without permitted halal label, refers to the step of purchased decision making stated by Assael (1998), and the perceptions scale to the reference group, based on the theory proposed by Assael (1992). The data analysis method used is Product Moment and Pearson technique, which shows the correlation values of r = 0.369 with p = 0.000. It means that the relationship between the perceptions of reference group with the decision making to purchase cosmetic products without permitted halal label on woman students are very significant. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted. Positive perceptions of the reference group gives effective contribution to the decision making to purchase cosmetic products with permitted halal label as big as 13,6%. Abstract

Lecturers and students are the main actors in higher education who are tasked with implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education namely education / teaching, research, and community service (Law No. 12 of 2012, Article 1 Paragraph 9). The fact that is happening now, lecturers and students are still having difficulties in implementing the Tri Dharma, especially in research. One proof that shows the low publication in Indonesia is the Scimago Journal and Country Rank (2015) data which placed Indonesia in the 49th place in the world and 11th in Asia in 2015. Therefore, this study aims to determine what factors include the limited costs become an obstacle in improving the publication capacity of the Psychology study program at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University in Yogyakarta. The researcher used a qualitative method namely semi-structured interviews. The subjects of this study were 20 people consisting of lecturers and Psychology students at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. The results of this study indicate that there are many obstacles and obstacles in publicizing the psychology study program of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. These constraints lead to the lack of understanding of the research subject to the use of technology for publication.  Dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan pelaku utama di perguruantinggi yang bertugas melaksanakan  Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi  yaitu pendidikan/pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat (UU No. 12 Tahun 2012, Pasal 1 Ayat 9). Kenyataan yang terjadi saat ini, dosen dan mahasiswa masih kesulitan dalam melaksanakan tri dharma tersebut, terutama pada penelitian. Salah satu bukti yang menunjukkan rendahnya publikasi di Indonesia adalah data Scimago Journal and Country Rank (2015) yang menempatkan Indonesia pada peringkat 49 di dunia dan 11 di Asia pada tahun 2015. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa selaian keterbatasan biaya yang menjadi penghambat dalam meningkatkan kemampuan publikasi di prodi Psikologi UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif yakni dengan wawancara semi terstruktur. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa Psikologi UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada banyakkendala dan hambatan dalam melakukan publikasi di prodi psikologi UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Kendala tersebut bermuara dari ketidakpahaman subjek penelitian terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi untuk melakukan publikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how parents conduct early sexual education for their children. The outlines for early sexual education include reproductive health and sexuality issues in biological, medical, religious, social, cultural, and psychological explanations. Informants consist of parents who are educated max high school and parents who are highly educated (S2) and work as teachers and lecturers (15 people). The research data was explored using literature method, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results showed that parents who are both highly educated and low have difficulty in conducting sexual education in their children. However, highly educated parents seem more able to overcome barriers in providing early sexual education. Good knowledges on reproductive health and sexuality make them able to express advice and guidance on  reproduction and sexuality matters. However, parents still need to know more about the sexual education materials which given in schools so that there will be consistency between parents and teachers. Forms of early sexual education at home are explainations, prohibitions, discussions, suggestions, examples or modeling, and brief conversations. The compactness of father and mother and school along with the consistency of the way and the material is very helpful to achieve the goal of early sexual education. Integrative early sex education is agreed upon by the respondent and the result of a researcher's textual study as a sexual education that leads to abstinence by considering how religious texts speak about the content, and methods of delivery. Sciences related to early sex education are: psychology, religion, biology, medical, sociology, gender analysis, information technology, economics, law, and so on.
