Abstract

Community in the 21st was faced with a number of challenges, one of which was environmental problems and how to survive in the 21st century. For this reason, there were two important things to be developed, namely an environmentally caring attitude and an interest in entrepreneurship. The development of both should be facilitated by lectures on Environmental Knowledge. This research is intended to analyze the environmental care attitude and interest in student entrepreneurship. The research method used was descriptive qualitative and data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are 1) The attitude of caring for the student's environment needs to be improved; 2) The interest in student entrepreneurship is very high so it needs to be facilitated through learning that invites students to practice the skills that have been taught. The results of this study are expected to be a foothold in how to develop learning to support the development of environmental awareness and interest in student entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The ability of critical thinking is very important to have. If the students have an ability of critical thinking, they students can solve the problems that facing them on the lesson study especially biology. Based on that problem, the writer was conducted a research which have the aim to know the difference between the ability of male students’ and female students’ critical thinking on blood circulation system material in biology lesson of XI MIPA MAN 1 Banyuasin. This research was conducted on july 17, 2018 At XI MIPA class of MAN 1 Banyuasin. This research was descriptive analysis research. The subject of this research was the students of XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3 XI MIPA 4 of MAN 1 Banyuasin with the total of the students are 157 students. Data analyzing technique used probability sampling technique that is proportionate stratified random sampling with descriptive analysis method, the result of this research showed that the ability of male students’ critical thinking are low with the average 13.15. The ability of female students’ critical thinking are high with the average 14.05. There is the difference between the ability of male studets’ and female students’ critical thinking. In conclusion, the ability of female students’ critical thinking is higher than male student’s in MAN 1 Banyuasin.

Abstract

Peatlands are one of the ecosystems that have a very high biodiversity of flora and fauna both. One animal that has an abundant amount in peatlands are insects. This is a descriptive qualitative study conducted in october carried on peatland in District Lalan Banyuasin district. Catching insects is done by using sthe sweep net, pitfaal traps and light traps in the risearch results in the identification of UIN Raden Fatah Biology Laboratory Palembang insect species diversity index (H) were analyzed using the Shannon-Weiner calculations. The results of this study indicate that insects are caught in Peatland consists of 93 individual 6 Family and 12 species. Insects that dominates in Peatlands District of Lalan Musi Banyuasin is Atractomorpha crenulata , Oxyachinensis and Valanga nigricornis , and insects that have the fewest number is Stagmomantis carolina , blatta orientali ( L ) and Periplenata americana ( L ). The Shannon diversity index values insect - Weiner ( H ) shows the value of 1.62 which means that the diversity of insect species that exist in Peatlands ( medium ).

Abstract

Red chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of vegetables that useful for Indonesian people. Red chilli contains high vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and beta-carotene that surpass fruits often consumed by people like papaya, mango, pineaple and watermelon. Red chilli easily rotten so scientist use sodium benzoate to preservate anti-fungi. Red chilli which use sodium benzoate stored in 10oC (freezer) with variate in one day, 5 days and 10 days saving. This research point is to know the impact of sodium benzoate, saving time, saving in the room teperature and saving in the freezer to the red chilli vitamin C level. This research is held in the Politeknik Kesehatan Palembang Jurusan Gizi Laboratory. The decision of the vitamin C level based on the iodin titration. This research used completely randomized design with 8 treatments, 3 replications and 3 saving times till we get 72 trials. These treatments are A1= 0%/100g, A2= 0,07%/100g, A3= 0,09%/100g, A4 = 0,1%/100g, B1= 0%/100g, B2= 0,07%/100g, B3= 0,09%/100g, dan B4= 0,1%/100g which each saved one day, 5 days and 10 days in the room teperature and freezer. This research result show that saving time treatment have real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level is F count 238,57 more than 3,30 in the F table. In the adding concentration treatment sodium benzoate doesn‟t have the real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level that F count 0,023 less than 3,49 in the F table. The temperature treatment doesn‟t also have the real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level that F count -0,0008 less than the 18,51 in the F table. This research higest vitamin C level in the adding sodium benzoate 0,07% treatment which save in the room temperature since from H0 until H+10 the vitamin C level is increassy.

Abstract

This research is about ―The Effect of Application Cooperative Learning Model Technique Make a Match Result Studying Biology in MTs ‗Aisyiyah Palembang‖. Based on initial observasion of the result obtained from the value of studying biology teacher that only 40% of students who achieved the minimum completeness 70. This is a problem and need to be treated with the uses of appropriate learning strategies so that these problem can be solved. In this process of learning a lot of communication is expected to occur toward the expected activity and creativity. With that in mind it was attempted to explore the uses of a cooperative learning model technique make a match. Through cooperative learning model is expected to improve students learning outcomes. This research carried on 28 October until 1st November 2013. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students taught with cooperative learning technique make a match. Sampling of this study amounted to 80 people in the class VIIIA and VIIIB class as the subject of MTs ‗Aisyiyah Palembang. Data retrieval result by using the instrument of learning achievement test (24 items). Data analysis using t-test and obtained tcount 3.98 at 5% level and obtained ttable 1.99, then tcount> ttable, so it can be concluded taught using cooperative learning technique make a match have a significant influence on student learning outcomes eighth grade in the subject matter of biology at MTs ‗Aisyiyah.

Abstract

The learning process, the teacher always use conventional method so the teacher is more activities and the situation of the activities make the students bored. From the explanation above the result of learning process is less. The writers are interested about the influence of dicovery learning method to improve the students achievement. The research of study was conducted in MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang academic year 2013/2014. Whether there is influence learning discovery learning methods to the learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Biology class VII MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang . The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of discovery learning method learning on learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Biology class VII MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. Type in this study experiment study using a quantitative approach analysis techniques using t test analysis. The results of the analysis of the posttest valuesobtained is 3.54 at a price t table at 5% significance level and d f = ( 34 +35 ) -2 table = 2.00. Turns t count > t table or 3.54 > 2.00 . This suggest that Ho rejected Ha accepted the hypothesis stated that "the result of study of students from experiment class better than from students of control class”.

Abstract

Water used for drinking is healthy water that must meet the requirements of Bacteriology, based Kepmenkes RI No: 907 / Menkes / SK / VII / 2002 concerning the terms and monitoring the quality of drinking water, where for the value of the Most Probable Number (MPN) is 0 / 100 ml water samples were analyzed. In the method of testing microbiological quality of drinking water is used as an indicator Coliform group. The purpose of this study was to detect the presence of Coliform bacteria in water samples tested wells. Samples were tested in the form of water wells located in the Village RT.V Padang Jati. Research Well Water Quality Test Method Using MPN (Most Probable Numbers) was conducted in March 2014. This study uses observation deskription is through direct observation to determine the possibility of Coliform bacteria and fecal Coli. Data based on observations or surveys taken directly to the location you made to sample, as well as the examination of samples directly in the laboratory to obtain primary data. Results or Coliform MPN index and fecal Coli were compared using the formula 555 Thomas MPN table. The results showed that all samples test positive for Coliform bacteria, so it is not fit for use as drinking water. Abstract

Tujuan dari studi kasus ini untuk melihat cara guru mengkonstruksi lingkungan belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar IPA. Sampel dalam studi kasus ini adalah guru biologi SMP kelas IX dan siswa SMP kelas IX. Data diambil dengan cara observasi selama proses pembelajaran dan pemberian angket konstruksi belajar dan angket motivasi siswa dalam belajar IPA. Berdasarkan hasil observasi proses pembelajaran ditemukankan bahwa ketika guru mengajar di kelas, tidak sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Untuk hasil observasi konstruksi lingkungan belajar pada aspek properti kelas, proses kelas, dan struktur kelas ditemukan bahwa guru tidak mengkaitkan antara materi yang sedang dipelajari dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, belajar tidak kontekstual dan lebih konseptual. Selain itu, tidak ada penguatan yang diberikan kepada siswa, apakah siswa sudah benar-benar memahami materi tersebut atau belum. Dari hasil angket konstruksi belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam mengkonstruksi lingkungan belajar perlu ada komunikasi antara siswa dan guru agar tercipta lingkungan belajar yang sesuai untuk tujuan pembelajaran baik untuk masa sekarang, masa akan datang dan berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Lingkungan belajar yang kondusif akan meMotivasi siswa dalam belajar sehingga belajar menjadi lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Mananase enzyme used to hydrolyze manan in producing simple sugars, such as mannose and monooligosakarida which will be utilized in the industry. Mananase enzymes produced by microbes more attractive to industry because it is more economical, higher productivity and amore controlled production conditions. Mannolitic bacteria isolated from soil containing palm litter. Isolation is done by using selective media locus bean gum. The result showed 6 bacterial isolates that have the ability mannolitic. Isolate 6 has the highest mannolitic index of 0.85. Isolates 6 were characterized morphologically, showed that this isolate motile, cocci, and gram-negative. Physiological characterization showed that this isolate utilize peptone as a source of energy that is supported by VP and H2S test results were positive.

Abstract

This research about “Influence Project-Based Learning In Biology Lab to Process-Science Skills Of Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. Project-based learning is a innovative model of learning, and more emphasis on contextual learning through activities complex. Science learning is currently lacking promoting science process skills ( KPS ), where as aspects of process science skills is the main basic of learning science in the laboratory. This research was conducted in Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang . This research aims to know the effect of project-based learning in biology lab about process science skills of junior high shcool of Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. Population in this research is class VIII which number to 122 and the sample of 41 to use from class VIII.3. To measure the students process science skills to use instruments such as observation sheets , test and questionnaire . Testing the hypothesis of the research is based on analysis of simple regretion linear showed that there were significant effect at project-based learning in biology lab about process science skills with test F at standard 5% which Freg> Ftabel that is 15,90 > 4.10 and the average percentage of process science included in good categories. It can be concluded that the project-based learning in biology lab influencing process science skills of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang.
