Abstract

Fish as a source of animal protein has several advantages over other animal protein sources, one source of animal protein that is Dumbo catfish. Dumbo catfish fish including fish which is most easily accepted bysociety. This study aimed to determine the effect of feeding on African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) usingchicken intestine and tofu on the growth of catfish. This study was conducted on August 24, 2015 until 24September 2015. The parameters observed in this study were weight and length. The study was conducted usinga randomized block design (RAK) with 4 treatments and 4 groups: feeding by comparing the administration offish feed manufactured in the form of pellets 100% (control), feed chicken intestines 100%, the feed pulp out of100%, and chicken intestine feed pulp 50% + 50% Fish test with a weight of 20 grams and 12 cm. With otherfactors such as pH and temperature equated water. Feeding 2 times a day for 30 days of maintenance. Theresults showed that there was significant difference between the treatment given to the growth of the weight andlength of catfish, feed A1 (chicken intestine 100%) gave the best growth of the African catfish and significantlydifferent from other treatments (P <0.05). Absolute growth of 39.1 grams with a length of 31,2 cm.

Abstract

The high costs of maintenance catfish in the pond, making the maintenance of catfish in the narrow land be onealternative maintenance catfish. Among the efforts to increase production of catfish in the maintenance of thenarrow area is to increase stocking density at the pool tarp, and the use of catfish (Clarias sp.) Which issuperior strains, the results of Indonesian researchers. This study was conducted in an investigation on Jl.Slamet Riyadi Lr. Lawang Kidul Darat, Palembang in South Sumatra, in April-May, 2016. The parameters usedare weight, length, and degree of fish life. This research used experimental method completely randomizeddesign (CRD), with 3 treatments, and each 3 repetitions by comparing growth in the control treatment (P0 =100 birds / m2) with treatment P1 (125 individuals / m2), P2 (150 individuals / m2), and P3 (175 individuals /m2). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the treatment given to the growth ofweight, length, and degree of life. P1 treatment gives the best growth of the catfish and significantly different toother treatments (P <0.05). Absolute growth of 8.65 grams, with a length of 5.7 cm.

Abstract

Humans need water for various purposes, such as bathing, cooking and most importantly for everydayconsumption. Along with today's technological advances and accompanied by increasingly busy human activitythen people tend to choose a more practical way with relatively low cost to meet the needs of drinking water byusing drinking water contents ulang.Permenkes No. 429 in 2010, assessed quality drinking water frommicrobiological parameters are not the discovery of total coliform bacteria in 10 ml of sample. According tosome previous studies, many refill drinking water depot that produce water does not comply with themicrobiological peryaratan. The purpose of this study is to conduct a microbiological water qualitypresentation based on the value of MPN Coliform, by identifying the presence of Escherichia coli in drinkingwater produced depot refill drinking water around the UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The study was conductedin June 2016 in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Teaching Tarbiyah Raden Fatah StateIslamic University in Palembang. This study uses qualitative descriptive method by comparing the laboratoryresults with standard tables Most Probable Number (MPN), which consists of a test estimation, confirmationtest, and test the amplifier. Get their research results in the bacteria Escherichia coli and Coliform. Of the foursamples unfit for consumption because of a fourth consecutive MPN values per 10 ml coliform bacteria are12.4 per 100 ml; 22.7 per 100 ml; 14 per 100 ml; 1100 per 100 ml, and contains the bacteria Escherichia colisequentially 12.4 per 100 ml; 22.7 per 100 ml; 3 per 100 ml; 1100 per 100 ml.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning model is a way of presenting the lesson material by making the problem as a starting point for discussion to be analyzed and synthesized in an attempt to find solutions or answers by students. Problem Based Learning helps the media of visual aids can create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere, make students active and make students have the motivation in following the learning. This study aims to determine the effect of model problem based learning (PBL) assisted visual media aids to student learning motivation on the circulatory system material XI Science class the one of the MA in Palembang. This type of research is quantitative with research design using non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research is the students of class XI Science 2 as much as 43 people (experimental class) and 36 students of class XI Science 1 (control class) selected by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation, and questionnaire motivation to learn students. Based on the data analysis, there is a difference between learning motivation of experimental class and control class, hence can be concluded alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted, meaning that problem based learning model (PBL) assisted by visual aids media influence to student learning motivation. The conclusion of this research is based on questionnaire and questionnaire analysis of learning motivation revealed that model of problem based learning assisted by visual aids media influence student learning motivation on blood circulation system class XI. It is proved that the students 'learning motivation has differences in the questionnaire value of students' learning motivation between classes treated with 81,9 with classes not treated with an average of 71,0.

Abstract

This research aims to implement Inquiry Small Research to improve the scientific attitude and achievement of students in vertebrate zoology This research was conducted in second semester with 38 students. This classroom action research is conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle through planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection using observation sheet to know the scientific attitude and cognitive test to measure student achievement. The results showed that implementation of Inquiry Small Research for scientific attitude of students with good and excellent category experienced an increase from pre-cycle and cycle I by 54%, and from cycle I and II increased by 6%. Thus, overall from the pre-cycle stage to cycle II, students' scientific attitudes increased by 60%. The increase of student achievement by 27%, from pre cycle and cycle I, from cycle I and cycle II experienced 39% improvement. Thus, overall from pre-cycle stage to cycle II, student achievement has increased by 66%. The conclusion of this research is through implementation of Inquiry Small Research can improve scientific attitude and student achievement.

Abstract

The Science Subjects have an important influence for human life. The research is designed using quasi-experimental approach to the design of a simple 2 x 2 factorial. The research subjects was a university student of Special education . Students were selected in this study amounted to 55 students. The results of this study are: 1) the average value of the learning outcomes of students who are taught Sciences using Problem based learning is higher (at 4,500) of the learning outcomes of students who are taught Sciences using conventional models (at 1,241); 2) the average value of learning outcomes Sciences students have high motivation to learn at 3,250 while those with low motivation to learn at 2,296; 3) the experimental group students with high learn motivation have the best learning outcomes Sciences by 4,692 while the control group students with low learn motivation to learn science have the worst outcomes for 0,429. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are : 1) Problem based learning model significantly influence learning outcomes, learning outcomes of Sciences subjects experimental group (tought using problem based learning model) is higher than in the control group outcomes study (taught using conventional model or lecture); 2) motivation to learn significantly affect learning outcomes, student learning outcomes Sciences high motivation to learn is better than the student learning outcomes that low motivation to learn; 3) there is no significant interaction between fine distinctions model of learning and fine distinctions motivation performed well in giving influence against student learning outcomes of Science.

Abstract

A more interactive and fun microbiology learning solution by utilizing information technology is the development of interactive multimedia of microbiological material based on Edmodo Android. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive multimedia microbiology based on Edmodo Android. The research method used is research and development. Interactive multimedia microbiology based on Edmodo Android developed with Thiagarajan development model. The research is done through define stage, design stage, and develop stage. The data of the research are validation questionnaire from media experts, microbiology material experts, and practitioners. The research data is corrected by using the percentage of eligibility criteria.

Abstract

Achievement of learning objectives and learning competencies can be possessed by students through a process of learning experiences that are meaningful for students. Low learning results one of them caused by misunderstanding of the concept of matter. Understanding the concept of students can be improved in learning by using the model of learning think, talk, write. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data analysis technique is done by calculating from the value obtained from the completeness of individual and classical. The result of the analysis shows that there is an increase of learning result 23,32% from cycle 1 to cycle 2.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the objective condition of children who have difficulty learning in knowing land animals. The method of learning role playing is one of the learning methods used to overcome it. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning activities of children of sub-subject of animal introduction. The method used in this research is qualitative method using observation and interview to dig the child data. The subjects of the study were children with intelectual disability aged 9 years amounted to one person. The results showed that: 1) The cognitive development of the child is still like 6 years old children, 2) The children need services that suit their needs through role playing learning method, 3) role playing method done six times, 4) role playing method can increase Learning activities of children in knowing land animals.

Abstract

This study is based on the low level of students' science process skills. This is because in the learning process that takes place students are more passive role and only receive learning materials provided by the teacher. Model Problem Based Learning is a learning model that is using the problem as a benchmark, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on Science process skills To the material of the respiratory system in the class XI on SMA PGRI Prabumulih. This research uses quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Reasearch) using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The instrument used in this research is the test and performance assessment. Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test Independen Sampel t test Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test with independent testing samples test-t with t count> t table (2,066> 2,000), then H 0 rejected and H a accepted, which means that the model of problem based learning affects the students' science process skills, and Paired sample t-test in experimental class with the value t count <t table (-6.353 <-2.045), then Ho is rejected it means there is a difference science process skills between before and after the implementation of the learning model of problem-based learning. It was concluded that model of problem based learning It was concluded that model of problem based learning affects on the material respiratory system science process skills of students in class XI SMA PGRI Prabumulih.
