Abstract

The Provincial Government of Bali is collaborating with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for the developing a 158 kWp rooftop solar power plant that connected to the grid of PLN. The energy produced so far has reduced the supply of electricity from PLN in the Bali Governor's Office area. The purpose of research studies is know the potential energy produced by solar power plant 158 kWp. Energy production is estimated using HelioScope simulation. Data needed includes location of the solar power plant, and solar power plant technical specifications. The simulation produces total energy data in a year of 249,764 kWh/year with the highest energy occurring in May of 24,172 kWh and the lowest energy occurring in January of 16,226 kWh.

Abstract

Earthing systems (Grounding System) is a device that serves to secure the installation of overcurrent and overvoltage caused by lightning electricity or internal interruption of electricity by removing the payload to the ground. One of the factors that influence terhadapnilai prisoners earthing is resistivity value of the land. Mini-hydro power plants in Tukad Balian Tabanan regency require resistance value ? 2 Ohms. The purpose and benefits of the research was to determine the characteristics of the grounding system in the mini-hydro power plants in Tukad Balian Tabanan regency. And the benefits of this research is in order to get the data that can be used as a reference darii mounting / grounding system planning power plants Tukad Balian minihidor in Tabanan regency.Based on analysis of the calculation of the earthing system with some type used sebagau obtained the following results: by using a single type of rod electrodes (one rod) to obtain the results of the grounding prisoners ?2?, rod electrodes implanted deep as 13 meters. By using two types of rod electrodes (two rod) S> L to get the grounding ?2?, rod electrodes implanted with a length of 7 meters and the distance between the electrodes 9 meters. By using two types of rod electrodes (two rod) S <L to get the grounding ?2?, rod electrodes implanted with a length of 8 meters and the distance between the electrodes 2 meters. By using the type of plate to get the grounding ?2?, required as many as three pieces of plate with a depth of 1 meter. Using a type of grid to earthing ?2? result, a long electrode required 45 meter.

Abstract

RSUD Klungkung is supplied by a transformer with a capacity of 200 kVA. The use of non-linear loads in Klungkung Hospital can cause harmonic currents (ITHD). The greater the harmonic current produced, the quality of the electrical power will get worse, causing losses to the transformer. The installation of active shunt filters and the use of fuzzy logic controllers as controllers on filters can reduce the harmonics that occur in the electrical system. The results of ITHD measurements on existing conditions for R phase are 11.23%, S phase is 14.72%, and T phase is 11.20%. The ITHD value decreased when the system was paired with a shunt active filter for R phase of 5.24%, S phase was 7.18%, and T phase was 5.34%. The ITHD value has decreased again when the use of fuzzy logic controller for R phase is 0.15%, S phase is 0.17%, and T phase is 0.11%. Decreasing ITHD values affect the losses generated on the system. In the existing conditions losses are 10.525%, losses in the operation of the shunt active filter are 1.352%, and the use of fuzzy logic controller produces the smallest losses of 0.00035%.

Abstract

A Planning for fiber optic network using optical simulation from STO to ONT (optical Network Termination) with the farthest distance of ± 6.22 km done in the area of Jl. Batuyang, Kangin Batubulan, Sukawati, with an estimated number of customers of 270 customers aiming to switch networks from Multi Services Access Network (MSAN) to Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). Planning starts from the survey area that will be built by the network, determines the customer's estimation, estimates the placement of the device and determines the specifications of the device to be used. Planning starting from STO to ONT / customer uses an optical application which will result from planning in the form of PRx on ODP (Optical Distribution Pack), PRx on ONT and bit error rate. The results of the analysis carried out, the Rx power generated in the ODP with the farthest distance of ± 6.22 km, which is for measuring results -26,893 dBm while in the planning results can be as much as -22,744 dBm, and PRx in ONT obtained for measuring results while in the planning obtained a result of -24.722 dBm, from the PRx results obtained the attenuation value is still below the ITU-T G.984 standard which is -28 dBm. BER value (Bit Error Rate) that is produced with the farthest distance of ± 6.12 km is 3,33x10?19 bit/s, this value is below the standard, namely 10?9 bit/s, with this result, optical fiber network planning using an optical system is feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of changes in temperature, water content, andelectrode gap on the breakdown voltage of transformer oil. The transformer oil used in this studywas Shell Diala-B and Nynas oil. Testing the effect of temperature was carried out attemperature variation of 280 C to 810 C, the effect of water content was carried out withvariations ranging from 11 ppm to 31 ppm, and the effect of electrode gap was carried out invariation ranges between 1.2 mm to 2.5 mm. Breakdown voltage testing method useshemispherical electrodes according to IEC 60156 standard of 1995. The results of the studyshow that the higher the temperature, the higher the breakdown voltage of transformer oil. Thehighest breakdown voltage in Nynas oil occurs when the temperature is 810 C which is equal to59.27 kV. The results also show that the higher the water content, the breakdown voltage islower. The highest breakdown voltage in Shell Diala-B oil occurs with a water content of 11 ppmwhich is equal to 61.35 kV. Also the greater the electrode gap, the greater the breakdownvoltage. The highest breakdown voltage in Nynas oil occurs with the gap of electrode 2.5 mmwhich is equal to 60.02 kV.

Abstract

In general the average rice harvest in Indonesia is three times in one year with a rice age of 115-120 days. Subak is an organization owned by farmers in Bali that specifically regulates traditional rice field irrigation systems. Subak Semaagung every year there is a shortage of water on agricultural land. Subak area of approximately 55 hectares consisting of six groups of farmers called "tempek". Agricultural water supplied to each tempek interchangeably because the water supply is very limited, so any tempek can only grow rice once in 2 years. The situation is very difficult for farmers to maintain their own rice fields with a limited water supply, so that the fields in the Subak has been largely abandoned. Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture has provided assistance in the form of diesel-powered irrigation pump system, but the diesel-powered water pumping systems are only used for 1 year because it requires a very complicated way of operational and fuel costs are enormous. This research will be designed water pump system Solar Power Plant (PLTS) for more effective than previous diesel pump. From the discussion and analysis has been done that with an area of 300 m2 can be mounted solar panels monokristaline 52.14 kW with a maximum capacity of solar modules totaling 158 units, inverter 33 kW two units, and Submersible pumps SP 60-9 two units. So that the result of the calculation of water that can be lifted inthe dry season every day is 1.275.000/liters/day. With a total investment cost of solar power water pumps Subak Semaagung ????????1.168.137.010.

Abstract

The development of network technology is increasingly growing. The high amount of digital data passed on computer networks is currently influenced by the increasing use and need of the era of digitalization. Therefore it is required reliable network conditions and can provide time efficiency. This final project analyzed the effect of jumbo frame service quality on data transfer process. The experiment conducted int two types frame network that is normal frame and jumbo frame network. It is found that the best average of frame size is 5000 bytes. In term of QoS parameters obtained that for packet loss ranges from 0.01% to 1.22%, delay ranges from 94 to 400 seconds, and throughput ranges from 20 to 50Mbps. Compared with the frame size of 9000 bytes with packet loss value of more than 2%.

Abstract

The Reading room is a room that is used by visitors to search and study the library materials. The reading room has an important role in the learning and teaching process on campus. The Faculty of Engineering Studies of Udayana University have a reading room that is managed in a conventional way. In addition to these problems, students ' interest in visiting the Reading room is also very low. Using information technology with the Gamification method can be used to resolve the issue. This system can handle reading room management and provides convenience for users to access the reading room. The form of Gamification to be applied is the point given to the user against interactions with the Reading Room management information System. Users will be given problems that have the form and difficulty in each level, correct answers will get points and wrong answers will get a reduction of points. The points gained will be accumulated so that the level of users can be found in the leaderboard, with the mechanisms in the system expected to borrow and read books in the Reading room can increase. The Reading Room Management Information System uses 3 tests: Black Box, System usability scale, and the last of Gamification testing. Based on the test results using the black box method, the system has a function that is declared successful. Based on the test result system usability scale obtained score 70.12 expressed acceptable. In addition to the Gamification testing, a score of 3.98 is categorized by agreeing with the application

Abstract

Jatuh Tegangan adalah permasalahan yang paling sering terjadi pada saluran distribusi 20kV. Faktor yang mempengaruhi Jatuh Tegangan adalah panjang dan beban dari saluran distribusi 20kV. Penyulang Menjangan merupakan Saluran Distribusi 20kV yang mempunyai nilai Jatuh Tegangan paling besar di wilayah kerja PT.PLN (Persero) Area Bali Utara. Penyulang Menjangan memiliki beban sebesar 3400kVA dengan panjang saluran utama adalah 40,3 km. Penyulang Menjangan memiliki nilai tegangan 17,3kV atau mengalami Jatuh Tegangan sebesar 10,6 %. Rekonfigurasi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengatasi Jatuh Tegangan pada Penyulang Menjangan. Dalam penelitian ini, Penyulang Menjangan di bagi menjadi 2 yaitu Penyulang Menjangan 1 yang disuplai dari Trafo 1 GI Gilimanuk dan Penyulang Menjangan 2 yang disuplai dari Trafo 2 GI Gilimanuk. Setelah dilakukan simulasi Rekonfigurasi pada Penyulang Menjangan di dapat nilai tegangan pada Penyulang Menjangan 1 adalah 19.8kV dan nilai tegangan Penyulang Menjangan 2 adalah 19,6kV.

Abstract

This research aims to observe and find out the availability value of the system that provides website access of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. To find the availability values, data collection was carried out on each network devices by using a network monitoring program called CACTI based on Simple Network Management Protocol. The data were in the form of PING Latency from each network devices consisting of one server, two switches, and two routers. From the PING Latency data, then the value of Mean Time to Failure and Mean Time to Recover can be calculated which is used to determine the availability value of the network device. After all network devices had the availability values, then a calculation was made to determine the availability value of the entire website service provider system of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University which from the result of this research found that Electrical Enginering’s Website has availability values of 99.9%.
