Abstract

The implementation of PLTS as the utilization of EBT in Indonesia is still being developed. Government policy through KEN and RUEN targets a national PLTS capacity of 6.5 GW in 2025 and 45 GW in 2050. The PLTS system is implemented from the smallest scale, namely residential, with a new challenge, namely to maintain the performance of the PLTS system in good condition. The object of this research was carried out on an 11.2 kWp on-grid rooftop PV mini-grid system at the Bukit Gading Mediterania Residential. The performance of this rooftop PV system was analyzed using the PVsyst software to determine the potential for electricity production, then calculated the PV system performance parameters such as Yield Factor (Yf) , Yield Reference (Yr), Performance Ratio (PR) and Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of PLTS within one year of operation starting June 2021 – May 2022, which is then compared with the results of electricity production and the performance parameters of the PLTS system during operation one year from June 2021 – May 2022. The real production value of the 11.2 kWp on-Grid rooftop PV system for a year is 13,809.6 kWh with performance parameters (Yf Factor), Yield Reference (Yr), Performance Ratio (PR ) and Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF)) respectively are 1233.0 kWh/kWp, 1699.7 kWh/kW, 72.4% and 14.1%. For the PVSyst simulation results, the annual potential of electrical energy from the 11.2 kWp on-grid rooftop PLTS system is 15,649 kWh with performance parameters (Yf), Yield Reference (Yr), Performance Ratio (PR) and Capacity Utilization Factor (Yf). CUF)) respectively were 1,397.23 kWh/kWp, 1,691.3 kWh/kW, 82.6% and 16%.

Abstract

The role of the sea is very important as unifying the nation and the territory of Indonesia and consequently the Government is obliged to administer governance in the field of law enforcement both against threats of violations against the use of waters and to maintain and create shipping safety and security. One way to increase the ability of the apparatus and the government to monitor and secure the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is to use the AIS (Automatic Identification System) system. This AIS is used to monitor the movement of ships and provide or receive information so that actions that can harm the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia can be prevented. Currently, ships in Indonesia are equipped with radar, but the scope of the radar emitted by Indonesian ships is still small and small. To overcome these problems the author wants to develop a thesis with the title "YAGI-LPDA Antenna Design at 162 MHz Frequency for Automatic Identification System (AIS) on Ships in Bali Island Waters" This antenna works by being connected to the AIS system at 162 MHz frequency which able to reach the presence of ships in the waters of the Bali Strait, Lombok Strait and its surroundings. The Yagi-LPDA antenna design prototype works in accordance with the antenna design in the MMANA-GAL software, namely in the form of an SWR with a value of 1.73, a gain of 8.12 dBi, and a radiation pattern that is unidirectional and during the ship monitoring process, the Yagi-LPDA antenna can be work well seen from the direction of the Yagi-LPDA antenna beam which is in the same direction and focused so as to be able to monitor the presence of ships in Benoa waters, the Lombok Strait and Nusa Penida.

Abstract

Indonesia have potential sunshine over year, it makes indoensia has a large source of renewable energy. However, renewable energy usage is very low. One of the renewable energy is solar power plants (PLTS). Medan City is one of the highly populated cities and it makes Medan city very limited land to build PLTS, and the solution is to build rooftop PLTS. Therefore, this research discusses the planning of PLTS on the roof of the Manna Helvetai Indonesian Methodist Church Building. The design of this PLTS is simulated using the Helioscope simulator. Solar modules are installed as many as 35 pieces and have 1 inverter with a capacity of 20 kW and produce potential energy of 15.8 kWp. Based on the results of the rooftop solar power plant design and the results of the calculation of electrical energy production, it can be analyzed that the economic development of rooftop solar power plants is considered feasible because it meets the criteria of Net Present Value (NPV) greater than zero, namely Rp 44,638,904 and Benefit-Cost Ratio (B-CR) greater than one, namely 1.19 and Discounted Payback Period (DPP) which is reached at the life of the solar power plant.

Abstract

With the increasing demand for electrical energy, steps are needed to increase the production of electrical energy and one of them is the study of PLTG fuel. The PLTG fuel study aims to analyze the ratio of the generated electric power and fuel costs to the power generated by the PLTG. The benefit of this study is to know how much the ratio of power and fuel costs to the power produced, so that it can be used as a reference to determine which fuel is suitable for use. With a quantitative descriptive analysis method where the qualitative data from the calculation results will be described descriptively so that the advantages, disadvantages and differences of the three fuels can be identified. Through SFC calculations the results of this study show that LNG fuel has the lowest SFC value of 0.13 kg/kWh while for HSD it is 0.33 kg/kWh and MFO is 0.43 kg/kWh. With the same amount of fuel, the power produced by LNG is still higher than the other two fuels, which is 40.48 kWh, followed by HSD, which is 25.77 kWh, and MFO, which is 22.63 kWh. When viewed from an economic perspective, LNG is also the cheapest fuel, with a price of IDR 33,639.02, -, while MFO is slightly cheaper than HSD, which is IDR 194,000.00 and for HSD fuel, which is IDR 223,500.00,-.

Abstract

Bible is a Scripture that believed by Christians which used as foundation in religious life. Reading the Bible can be more enjoyable by combining text, images, and sound, namely by creating a visual novel game. This visual novel game can be made using Ren'py. By making this Visual Novel Game about the Bible, children can use games to learn about the Bible. The data in this study can be obtained through books, journals, and the internet which are related to the concepts and research methods being carried out. Later, the data used will be validated in advance by the religious leaders concerned so that they can provide support that the stories told in this study do not deviate from the original teachings. The secondary data used is in the form of reference images, illustrations, clip art, animation, video or audio for making visual novel games via the internet. The result of this research is a Storytelling-based Visual Novel Game, where the story is taken from the Gospel of Matthew. In black box testing, this visual novel game shows that all functionality works well. In system usability scale testing, this visual novel game is categorized as good because it has an average value of 75,625.

Abstract

Harmonics in the electrical system can have a negative impact on the quality of the electrical energy being distributed. Harmonics are phenomena that arise due to the operation of non-linear electrical loads. Thus causing the formation of waves with a frequency that is different from the fundamental frequency. Total harmonic distortion (THD) is the effective value of waves affected by harmonics so that they can affect power losses. This study analyzes the power losses in the KA4214 transformer at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran. The method used is to carry out simulations and analysis of the results of harmonic measurements carried out in existing conditions using active filters, and using active filters with fuzzy logic controllers and then compared with IEEE 519-2014 standards. The simulation results from using an active filter with a fuzzy logic controller obtained the smallest current THD value of each phase, namely R = 0.28%, S = 0.71% and T = 0.72% with the resulting power losses of 0.0009905 kW.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020 the world was shocked by the outbreak of the corona virus which infected almost all countries in the world. WHO since January 2020 has declared the world to be in a global emergency related to the Covid-19 virus. As a preventive measure, every public facility and shop must have hand washing equipment, check body temperature before entering the room so that people who have a high temperature must go to the doctor, this also applies to schools to prevent new clusters in the educational environment. In this journal, the presence of a QRCODE-based automatic tool using the MLX90614 temperature sensor to measure body temperature is connected to the Arduino UNO microcontroller and displayed on the LCD in the form of temperature sensor measurement data and OLED displays QRCODE data scanned using the presence application. The Sensor Module MLX90614 has an IR sensitive thermopile detector chip and a signal conditioning ASIC integrated in the sensor packing model TO-39. The signal conditioning in the form of a low noise amplifier, 17-bit ADC and a powerful DSP unit achieves the accuracy and high resolution of the thermometer. The attendance application is made forAndroid smartphones, students can scan the QRCODE to make attendance through an application on an Android smartphone, so using the QRCODE can speed up and simplify receiving information obtained on the smartphone application. Testing of the prototype tool was carried out at Pupuan One Roof Public Middle School 6, a trial was carried out with several students, the lowest measurement difference was 0.2 °C and the highest was 0.5 °C with a measurement distance of 5 cm from the sensor surface. The prototype can be used for attendance from checking temperature, washing hands and making attendance from a smartphone then the data is submitted and stored in the Firebase database.

Abstract

Renewable energy is a naturally available energy source in nature, including wind, bioenergy, geothermal heat, solar radiation, flowing and high-drop water, as well as oceanic motion and temperature changes. Planning for the Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) in Yeh Dikis Banjar Lebah, Tabanan Regency, utilizes an AC generator as one of the ways renewable energy can be utilized. The literature review and observation methods were employed in this study to determine the turbine rotation speed required to drive the generator and to select the appropriate generator. Yeh Dikis River in Banjar Lebah, Tabanan Regency has a capacity of 30.62 kW, with a crossflow turbine operating at a rotation speed of 539 rpm and a torque of 321.81 Nm. The calculation results indicate that the generator capacity to be used is 21.55 kVA. Therefore, the chosen generator is the Generator Head Alternator with a rotation speed of 1500 rpm, providing an output power of 15.516 kW, a generator current of 31.75 A, and an efficiency of 90%. Since the turbine and generator rotation speeds are not compatible, a mechanical transmission system is required, achieved by designing pulley and belt ratios.

Abstract

The road is a public facility that is quite important for the community in connecting access between regions. Public street lighting (PJU) is part of the road's complementary infrastructure which can be installed on the right or left of the road section or in the middle (on the road divider). LED is a type of lamp that is often used in PJU throughout Indonesia. In this study, solar trees are designed as a source of environmentally friendly electrical energy which will be added ongrid to the public street lighting system (PJU). This study aims to analyze the selection of the type of lamp, the capacity used and the design to be used on the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road. The location chosen from the planned Solar Tree installation is the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road for street lighting. This is intended as an application for the utilization of renewable energy, and to find out what percentage of savings is generated. The results of the tests in this study produce calculations based on the kWh meter on the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road using a solar panel of the Mono Full Screen type DHM-54X10/FS 390~420W with a maximum power of 420 watts, resulting in: First, the solar tree uses four panels with a maximum power of 1680 watts. second, the design of solar tree poles that are adequate to the conditions on the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road, namely the "Tedung" and "Kayon" shapes which will contain four panels on each pole. Third, the savings obtained from using this Solar Tree are 18.69%.

Abstract

Renewable energy must be developed considering the depletion of fossil fuel reserves and the instability of fossil fuel prices. The development and implementation of environmentally friendly renewable energy sources needs serious attention. IESR's calculations in 2019 said that the potential for Micro hydro power plants (PLTMH) in Bali reached 15 MW. This research was conducted due to the presence of sufficient head and water flow as a potential to be PLTMH on the Yeh Dikis river. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential for electrical power that can be generated at the research location on the Yeh Dikis River, Banjar Lebah, Tabanan Regency, and determine the type of turbine to be used. The method used in this research is observation and literature study. The results of measurements and calculations performed, the available discharge potential is 0.381 m3/s and head fall is 8.2 m. The crossflow turbine is a viable option for implementing in the design of this PLTMH system on the Yeh Dikis river. The potential power that can be generated with a turbine efficiency of 0.75 and an assumption of a generator efficiency of 0.9 is 15.516 kW.
