Abstract

Poverty is a social reality characterized by underdevelopment of many things associated by social, economic, cultural, political, educational and natural factors that directly influence the inability of society, thus becoming poor. Poverty reduction efforts carried out by the community empowerment approach through areas system agrotechno based without the waste products of fish, beef, biogas, crops, fish feed, organic fertilizer and marine protected areas (MPAs) in the coastal areas of the District Boltim and Bosel, North Sulawesi . The data used are primary data obtained from field survey with the help of a list of questions. The samples were 30 respondents. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive method by using two-sample t test value pairs (paired sample t-test). The results showed that the empowerment of communities through the application area system agrotechno based without the waste products of fish, beef, biogas, crops, fish feed, organic fertilizer and marine protected areas (MPAs) in the coastal areas, there is a significant difference increase between family‟s income before and after implementation of the system agrotechno region.

Abstract

Derived from the public concern about which bank to choose to be work with because of many kinds of banks are available right now in the banking industry in Indonesia also because of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) era nowadays which is establishing a system of free-trading among ASEAN country, author wants to give a recommendation which banks are good to be work with also as a reference for the investors who are looking to invest especially in banking industry in Indonesia, using the new model developed by IMF in 2000 called Bankometer. It is using the 6 parameters of financial ratios which are; capital to asset; equity to asset; CAR; NPL; cost to income and loans to assets. This study examined 19 private owned banks with the criteria private owned bank with total assets Rp 50 trillion because of the availability of the bank and the published financial statements. The result shows all the 19 banks are termed into super sound bank for the last three years. The top three banks are: Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi stood at the peak, followed by Citibank and BTPN.Keywords: Bankometer, Financial Soundness, Private-owned banks

Abstract

Almost all regions in Indonesia are experiencing rapid growth in the development. Day by day the construction is growing rapidly, not an exception for North Bolaang Mongondow. Since inaugurated as a regional autonomy on 2 January 2007, the development of this area is developed rapidly. For example the opening of some land to be constructed of housing and offices and this tendency of development will be on and on along with the opening of new land in this area. By the increasing of public demand for furniture products then it will automatically increasing the number of companies engaged in this same field of industry. This research has the purpose to concerning MSMEs as the object of the research where furniture industry is chosen as the main object of it by considering its existence and prospect to grow ahead with the opportunity of both national and international issues such as the Asean Economic Community AEC) and any other global issues which these condition indirectly pushes the competitiveness among MSMEs become more tight and it is inevitably to be avoid. By doing strategic management process which is strategy formulation, then this could help the business that engaged in furniture industry to improving the performance so that they can survive and remain consistent to its goal in running the business. The research method used is the combination of descriptive qualitative and quantitative method where quantitative is used to facilitate the qualitative by using some of the analytical tools such as IE, SWOT,QSPM and TOPSIS .The result on QSPM and Fuzzy TOPSIS show that market development becomes the top preferred priority among other alternative strategies with the amount of weight is 3.697 in QSPM and 0.72124 in Fuzzy TOPSIS.Keywords: IE Matrix, QSPM, Strategy Formulation, Strategic Management, SWOT, TOPSIS Model

Abstract

Pasar bebas ASEAN yang akan efektif diberlakukan pada tahun 2015 merupakan titik rawan perjuangan UMKM dan ekonomi kerakyatan. Berbagai kemudahan perdagangan antar negara seperti pembebasan bea impor dan kemudahan birokrasi akan mendorong meningkatnya impor komoditas ke negara-negara ASEAN. Kewirausahaan diketahui memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap aktivitas ekonomi suatu masyarakat. Dengan meningkatnya aktivitas ekonomi, maka kesempatan kerja dapat diciptakan atau diperluas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kewirausahaan terhadap kesempatan kerja di Kabupaten Sitaro dengan menggunakan model regresi berganda. Dalam pengambilan sampel digunakan metode purposive sampling dengan responden sebanyak 67 kepala keluarga dan/atau ibu rumah tangga. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linier berganda ditemukan bahwa kewirausahaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan baik secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kesempatan kerja.

Abstract

Poverty is a complex issue that is influenced by various interrelated factors, including the level of people's income, unemployment, health, education, access to goods and services, location, geography, and environment. The high level of poverty in North Sulawesi, indicated by the large number of poor people, shows the development process that has not been able to improve the welfare of its people. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of the average length of schooling, per capita GRDP, and per capita expenditure on the number of poor people in North Sulawesi City in 2017. The method of analysis in this study using path analysis using cross-district data in North Sulawesi in 2017 with the help of SPSS program application. Based on the results of data analysis found that education has a significant effect both directly and through income and consumption of the number of poor people, although the influence is still weak.Keywords: Consumption, education, income, poverty

Abstract

Asean Economics Community (ASC) is the challenge and opportunities to expand the company. The welfare benefits given to outsourced workers include, among other things, the payment of monthly wages in accordance with the prevailing Regional/Provincial Minimum Wage, which covers basic wages, transportation costs, overtime pay, holiday bonuses (THR), Jamsostek contributions, work uniforms, and other rights in accordance with the stipulations of the regulations pertaining to manpower, and as stipulated and regulated in the work contract between the Company and the third party which received jobs from PLN. Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises have significant roles in developing the economy. Therefore developing SMEs is crucial to do including empowering the core business process of SMEs especially in culinary sector. The culinary sector is important because it might help to promote Manado through the food they provide. The culinary SMEs that lately became famous in Manado are the grilled fish restaurants especially those located in the coastal area of Manado that have high potential in attracting consumers due to their restaurant’s location that built in the coast area which also help to add business competitiveness. In culinary SMEs, providing the food is the most critical aspect to do. Logistic management became crucial as a business activity that supports the Production and Operation Management. Logistic Management key activities considered as the indicators in determining the current logistic management performance and strategies applied by Dabu-Dabu Lemong restaurant to reach the satisfying level of logistic management performance. Using Qualitative research methodology, the owner of Dabu-Dabu Lemong restaurant was being interviewed and the result showed the logistic management performance of Dabu-Dabu  Lemong culinary SME in Manado is in proper condition and there are total of 8 logistic management strategies that generated from this research.Keywords: Logistic Management, Small and Medium Enterprises
