Abstract

Religion education is important to be given to preschool children to recognize their own religion, the education is a mobilizator and a filter from any aspects of life. This research aims to know the process of story telling as the model of building up Islamic education for preschool children in the kindergarten in Bogares Kidul village. The method used is qualitative descriptive with observational technique, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the story telling method is very effective as the aim to build up Islamic education towards children.

Abstract

Based on the data about the level of corruption case in Indonesia, the problem of corruption become the big problem which has to be solved. One of the alternative way is through the education. There is one value that is important to build the anti corruption character, it is the honesty value. The honesty value must be taught to the children since early. One of the media that can be used to implement the character education is through the method of children games. One of the games which can beused is traditional game which has developed in this country full of the country’s culture. The aim of this research was to know whether the traditional game was effective or not to develop the children’s character in region of Pati. This research used experimental method, pretest and posttest control group design. The population was the institution of one foundation which aged 5-6. The sample was taken from the random sampling technique. The first sample as the experimental group from TKPertiwi 03 with 17 students. The second sample as the control group from TK Pertiwi 01 with 17 student. The analysis of t-test in posttest between the experimental group and control group, the result showed that t- count was 3.4897> t-table was 2.120. the score of sig (2-tailed) < 0.05, meant 0.01<0.05. It showed that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The mean of posttest score improved from 40.1176 became 46.0588. The finding of the research showed that there was the difference understandingof honesty character between pretest and posttest result of experimental group, and there was not difference understanding of honesty character between pretest and posttest result of control group. It showed that the traditional game was effective to build the understanding of honesty character to the early childhood. This research was conducted based on the procedure of research, although there was limitation of the research. The limitation of time in the research. This research use the story test to know the honesty character of the children based on their answers, not from their behavior. It had better if this research also used the observation method. The limitation of the school yard, the wider school yard could make the traditional game effective to be played.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to: (1) making of the early childhood development design of integrative holistic in non-formal early childhood (2) provide appropriate services for integrative holistic to early childhood in the womb until six years old (3) How can early childhood development of holistic integrative design can provide services ranging from health, nutrition, parenting and education for early childhood, (4) How to integrate BKB, early childhood post, and appropriate HC thus it was born the integrative holistic assessment models. The methodology of this research was Research and Development of an option because it has a more complex process in stages to accommodate the diverse interests of this research. (Borg & Gall & 1989:784-785). The hypothesis could be given of this study were (1) an integrative holistic design applied in a non-formal early childhood in this case of integrated ECH post with BKB and HC is highly effective as compared to early childhood services are only performed by itself. (2) services that can be provided in early childhood education can be an integrative holistic health services ranging from prenatal care until after delivery, healthy children aged 0 - 6 years, knowledge of nutrition during pregnancy to nutrition for a growing child development, and education for children aged 0-6 years as the appropriate stimulation for children aged 0 - 6 years, (3) This integrative holistic early childhood education design can be integrated starting from registration, weighing, growth monitoring, nutrition services, and education and health services for early childhood, (4) The results of an increase in parental knowledge about nutrition issues, health and education can be seen from the results of pre-tests and post-tests were conducted, which shows that the score of the output means pretest = 11.63 less than the posttest means = 20.25. Abstract

The number of child abuse cases in Indonesia is increasing every year. The perpetrators of child abuse are mostly the parents. It is important to understand various types of domestic violence because home is children’s first environment where they learn many things. Besides that, home is a safe place for children, with parents as the main actor who guards them. The limited facility that can be used as information source of what should be done by parents in parenting and educating children is alarming. Therefore, research to identify and to analyse parents’ understanding about domestic violence is needed. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method in which researchers analyse further about parents’ perception about child abuse. The result from 3 participants of this research is that child abuse still exists and is done intentionally by parents with different educational and economic background.

Abstract

This study aimstodevelopintrapersonalintelligencein realizingthecharacterized early childhood, throughthe technique of "Make-believeplay" inlearning, meanwhile, the focusof the problem ishow to optimize the intra personal intelligence in learning by using these techniques. This study is aClass Action Research (Classroom ActionResearch), followed By smallexperiments toseethe effectiveness ofactions taken. Subjectswere 24 children aged technique “make-believe play” and character 5-6  years  old  in  group  B,  in  thekindergartenAl-Muhajirin BengkuluCity.  Selected activitiesin developingthe character is the technique of "make-believe play" in the classroom. The research data obtained were processed using a percentage. The analysis showed tha the application of "make-believe play" inlearning, it can develop intra personal intelligence in an effort to make characterized early childhood

Abstract

The efforts to improve and enhance the quality of education by making curriculum changes, both structural and its formulation procedures would be more meaningful if accompanied by changes in teaching practices that support the successful implementation of the curriculum. One method that can be used is Project Method, whereby it is expected that the quality of student learning experiences in the classroom is more effective and instill the character associated with the environmental, cultural, and natural resources conservation. The purpose and benefits of this research are to provide an overview of procedures or mechanisms of implementation and find out how much the success rate of the method used in learning, especially in exhibition subjects with  project method. This research is a classroom action research with the approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The population in this study was all 90 studentsofEarly Childhood Education Department at Semarang State University who are on 6th semester who are taking exhibition subject. The result shows that the procedure of project method activities have to go through stages of actions and observations, which showed at the beginning of the first cycle obtained an average of student ability in this activity amounted to 59.25% and increased in the second cycle achieving 93.08%. Abstract

This research attempts to look using of the puzzle 3D puzzle in media therapy to autis syndrom for development of the fine motor in Talenta’s therapy Semarang. This research in a qualitative methode with the data collection with the observation, interviews and documentation. The analysys research has been concluded that the children autis affect generation of kids able to puzzle 3D puzzle. The insensity of the time it takes is long as children can’t coordinate eyes and hand well. With the media puzzle 3D puzzle could be used to lessen the activity been often held by the autis, as hit, clawing, vlaping, etc. A role that puzzle 3D puzzle this as a media play therapy can be given to the autis in any therapy program to give stimulate fine motor skill autis for child development.

Abstract

Affection and tenderness of affection and tenderness that is indispensable to the realization that conducive learning and fun for children of kindergarten (hereafter TK), thus giving greater possibility in the development of all the potential that a kindergartner. But the reality of love and tenderness are still low by teachers in the learning process i s optimal. Based on the above conclusion can be put forward suggestions to between another kindergarten teacher in order to add insight, knowledge, understanding, and skills to apply the affection and tenderness in the process of learning and training seminars. To institutions such as LPTK advised to give more supplies to teachers and prospective teachers about the techniques of interpersonal relationships special affection and tenderness over the deepening of the psychology of learning materials on kindergarten children.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial learning in early childhood is carried out by involving children in learning activities that exist in the class. Through the involvement of children in learning activities, children will know what steps should be taken to instill the values of entrepreneurship. So with entrepreneurial learning, values such as responsibility, creativity, and capability of making a decision will appear on the child when stimulated early. This research was conducted in early childhood institutions in Gunungpati Subdistrict, Semarang. Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes  in Prodi APGPAUD FKIP Bengkulu University through the implementation of innovative strategies namely Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted  teaching materials based on the  culture and character nation. To achieve these objectives done Classroom Action Research  by using a model of Kemmis through four stages of planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of PG Paud force in 2013, amounting to 36 people. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Research data collected quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data were analyzed using the statistical t-test while the qualitative data were analyzed an inductively model of "flow analysis". The analysis results showed that the application of the innovative strategies of Contextual Teaching and Learning aided teaching materials based culture and national character, can enhance the learning process associated with the character / attitude (attitude) and learning outcomes related to the mastery of the material significantly. It is influenced by both the lecturer's ability to design and put it into practice, which is owned by the learning potential of students, teaching habits, reinforcement provided by the lecturer, who developed PDA mindset of students, and a conducive learning environment. The advice given is to improve the process and outcomes, especially in college students APGPAUD Prodi, should be designed in a more meaningful learning, is a student center, and supported by teaching materials that integrate the content lectures with various noble character both in design and in its implementation in the classroom.How to citeKurniah, N.
