Abstract

Abstract:. Causalitical thinking consists of  causality and analytics thinking. Both are one of the strategies that have the potential to facilitate students to overcome the ability of problem solving physics is still lacking. This research aimed to identify the impact of causalitic-thinking process in scaffolding form on problem-solving ability (PSA) of heat on senior high school (SHS) students. This research is a quasi-experimental type with non-equivalent control group design. This research used purposive sampling technique and it obtained the class X.1 (27) as the experimental class and class X.2 (28) as the control class. The PSA data were obtained from a set essay tests and tested with t-test polled variance with significant level of 5%. The result was that tcounted (2.02) greater than that of ttable (2.00) which indicated that the causalitic-thinking process in scaffolding form significantly increased the problem-solving ability of heat on senior high school students. Abstrak: Berpikir Kausalitik terdiri dari berpikir kausalitas dan analitik. Keduanya merupakan salah satu strategi yang berpotensi memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengatasi kurang berkembangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh proses berpikir kausalitik ber-scaffolding  terhadap kemampuan pemecahan-masalah (KPM) kalor pada siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X.1 (27) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.2 (28) sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes KPM yang berbentuk essai. Data hasil dianalisis menggunakan uji-t polled varian dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan diperoleh nilai thitung(2.02) lebih besar dari ttable (2.00). Simpulan penilitian adalah bahwa proses berpikir kausalitik ber-scaffolding secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan-pemecahan-masalah siswa SMA pada materi kalor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of siscovery learning model on learning outcomes in terms of learning motivation of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang. The study used was a quasi-experimental design with factorial 2x2. The population of this study was all students of class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang in academic year 2019/2020. Sampling using a cluster random sampling technique, obtained class XI MIPA 3 as a class experiment and class XI MIPA 2 as a control class. The study applies discovery learning in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Data questionnaire to deteemine student obtained an average 74.00 and an average value of the control class of 54.74. Based on the result of data analysis it can be concluded that: 1) there is the effect of the siscovery learning model on the learning outcomes of students; 2) there is the effect of discovery learning models on students learning motivation; and 3) there is no intraction between discovery learning models and learning motivation towards students physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pembuatan Video Pembelajaran untuk Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika telah dilakukan secara daring. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatih mahasiswa calon guru pendidikan fisika dalam pembuatan video pembelajaran sebagai luaran dari kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP). Kemajuan perkembangan teknologi memicu dunia pendidikan untuk terus pula berkembang. Keberadaan media sebagai penunjang pembelajaran juga menjawab kebutuhan zaman. Melalui program Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan mahasiswa calon guru dituntut untuk dapat mampu memahami kegiatan pembelajaran secara langsung di sekolah. Agar dapat menyelesaikan program PLP mahasiswa harus membuat luaran video pembelajaran sehingga perlu diadakan pelatihan membuat video pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan tutorial penggunaan hardware dan software editing berbasis smartphone dan PC yaitu VN editor dan Filmora x. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah mahasiswa pendidikan fisika dapat memahami dan membuat video pembelajaran menggunakan software tersebut. Setelah kegiatan ini, mahasiswa diharapkan memperoleh wawasan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan video pembelajaran untuk membuat luaran kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP).

Abstract

This development research aims to develop an effective problem-based physics learning device model to improve students' generic science skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model. This 4D model consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The effectiveness of the learning device was obtained based on the analysis of the observation sheet on the implementation of the lesson plans from three observers was then determined using the calculation of the Interjudge Agreement (IJA) and the N-Gain test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the results of the IJA calculation analysis show that the implementation of learning is above 75% with the N-Gain test results of 0.54 are in the medium category, while the average value for the pretest value is 36.91 and the average posttest value 68.75. So it can be said that the problem based model of physics learning tools used is effective in improving the generic science skills of students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan konflik kognitif terhadap hasil belajargelombang mekanikpeserta didik MAN 2 Mataram tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental dengan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas XI MIA 1, XI MIA 2, dan XI MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan berupa pendekatan konflik kognitif. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan teknik tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 15 soal soal.Hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik paired sample t test dan menunjukkan bahwa  ditolak dan  diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan konflik kognitif memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar gelombang mekanik.

Abstract

This study uses Gall, Gall & Borg model which is a type of research and development (R&D). The purpose of this study is to determine the validity, effectiveness and practicality of flipbook-based e-modules to improve student learning outcomes and motivation. The research was conducted in class XI MAN 2 Mataram with 25 students as respondents. The validity test was carried out by expert validators and practitioner validators with the final product developed being suitable for use in learning. The effectiveness of flipbook-based e-modules for increasing learning outcomes was obtained from the results of N-Gain test analysis which scores a value of 0.68 under the medium category. Meanwhile, increase in learning motivation obtained an index value (%) of 84.12, within the very good category. The practicality of the flipbook-based physics e-module based on the assessment of students obtained an average score of 86.57 in the category of very practical to be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' creative thinking skills through a video-assisted blended-flipped classroom model on work and energy materials. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research was carried out at SMA-IT Abu Hurairah Mataram in the 2nd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were 32 students of X MIA 2. The instrument used is a test of creative thinking skills on work and energy materials. The results showed that the N-Gain scores of students on the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration were 0.91; 0.27; 0.13; and 0.40 respectively. The average N-Gain score is 0.41 in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that the video-assisted blended-flipped classroom model can improve students' creative thinking skills

Abstract

Jurit Baru Village is a village located in Pringgasela District, East Lombok Regency, which has potential natural resources to be used as tourist attractions and has been designated as a tourist village since 2021. Tourism potential in Jurit Village has not been managed optimally. This is due to the lack of promotion carried out by the local community. The purpose of the activity is to promote tourism potential in Jurit Baru Village on social media through Jurit Baru Tourism Village accounts (youtube) and @desawisata_juritbaru (instagram), and community empowerment as tourism supporters. Activities will be carried out from June to August 2023. The programs implemented include: tourism awareness counseling, content training and digital promotion, creating tourism village accounts, making promotional videos, and English fun. Results of activities: (1) The community becomes aware of the tourism potential in Jurit Baru Village and can maintain and manage existing tourist attractions. (2) People understand digital promotion strategies through content training and digital promotion. (3) The community has a forum to promote Tourism Villages through the Jurit Baru Tourism Village account (youtube) and @desawisata_juritbaru (instagram). (4) The community becomes aware of the existence and potential that exists in Jurit Baru Village through promotional videos. (5) Children in Jurit Baru Village can recognize English as a foreign language that is fun to learn and reduce the intensity of gadget use for children in Jurit Baru Village

Abstract

This research aims to develop physics e-learning with articulate storyline applications to improve science process skills. Researchis research and development. Development methods are 4D models with stages of define, design, development, and dissemination. The object of research is problem-based physics e-learning media with articulate storyline applications on straight-motion material. The test subjects were 20 students of grade X SMAN 1 Sikur. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that physics e-learning products with articulate storyline applications on straight-motion material are categorized as valid with an average score of 3.58, and physics e-learning is quite effective to be used to improve students' science process skills with a percentage of N-gain 58.13% with sufficient criteria effective

Abstract

Natural disaster mitigation learning is inclusive education in elementary school. There for, this aims to express the responses and opinions of teachers about the implementation of the disaster mitigation learning model and to improve the ability of teachers in elementary schools. The study was conducted on three schools consist elementary schools in Mataram, Ampenan, and Sembalun in Lombok Island-West Nusa Tenggara-Indonesia. The method of research begins with a presentation of a learning model for natural disaster mitigation such as peer teaching by the research team. After that discussion with moderation technique regarding disaster mitigation learning structure applied in the previous presentation. The results of the study obtained 5 main ideas of strategies about the implementation of the natural disaster mitigation learning model, namely that 1) students must be conditioned to natural disasters in the learning process, 2) teachers must have the correct steps in providing the understanding of natural disasters and in conducting direct demonstrations so that students thoroughly understand, 3) teachers must have knowledge of earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, floods, hurricanes and volcanoes, 4) teachers provide examples of disaster mitigation learning to students using tools such as videos, disaster mitigation tools, etc, 5) understanding risk, vulnerability, threat and capability of natural disaster. In general conclusion, teachers have to ability to use technology pedagogical and content knowledge strategies for natural disaster mitigation learning.
