Abstract

Penerapan Model TSTS dan Carousel Feedback untuk Meningkatkan Efikasi Diri dan Prestasi Akademik Siswa. Efikasi diri dan hasil belajar merupakan tujuan pembelajaran yang saling berkaitan satu sama lain. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di SDI Tenda Ruteng ditemukan bahwa para siswa menghadapi masalah rendahnya efikasi diri dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model TSTS dan carousel feedback. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain PTK model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V B SDI Tenda Ruteng yang berjumlah 20 orang, terdiri atas 11 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, angket, dan FGD. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan model Miles and Hubberman. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul ditemukan adanya peningkatan efikasi diri siswa yang dapat dilihat dari persentase siswa yang mencapai tingkat efikasi diri dengan kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi, yakni 65% pada siklus I  dan 85% pada siklus II. Prestasi akademik siswa juga meningkat tajam yang dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal, yakni 73,68% pada siklus I  dan 89,47% pada siklus II. Demikian pula persentase tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model TSTS dan carousel feedback meningkat dari 80% pada siklus I menjadi 90% pada siklus II untuk kategori baik dan sangat baik. Siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model TSTS dan carousel feedback sebagai model yang menarik, memudahkan, lebih baik, dan dapat dilanjutkan dalam pembelajaran IPS dan mata pelajaran lain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TSTS dan carousel feedback dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri dan prestasi akademik siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahanajar mata kuliah pembelajaran IPS SD model 4P dipadukan dengan pengajaran timbal balik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain dengan tiga tahap utama: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2)pengembangan model, dan (3) pengujian model. Tempat penelitian adalah Program Studi PGSDSTKIP Santu Paulus Ruteng. Populasi penelitian mencakup mahasiswa semester IV tahun akademik2013/2014, dengan sampelnya mahasiswa tingkat IIE dan IIF. Pada tahap studi pendahuluan, datadiperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi. Pada tahap pengembangan model, data diperoleh darivalidasi, angket, dan observasi. Pada tahap pengujian model, data diperoleh dari tes. Analisis data hasil tes dilakukan melalui uji T dengan interval kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan melalui modep 4P yang dipadukan dengan pengajaran timbal balik efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai postes mahasiswa yang mengggunakan model 4P dengan pengajaran timbal balik lebih tinggi daripada masiswa yang menggunakan model lain. Selain itu ditemukan adanya tanggapan positif dari sebagianbesar mahasiswa atas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dengan model 4P dipadukan dengan pengajaran timbal balik.

Abstract

This study aims at producing teaching materials of lesson social study at primary school. This study used design into three phases: (1) preliminary study, (2) the development of the model, and (3) testing model. The research populations are fourth semester students of Teacher of Primary School Education departemen on STKIP St. Paul Ruteng in academic year 2013/2014. The research samples are two class (IIE and IIF). In the preliminary studies, the data were obtained from interview and observation, while at the stage of development model, the data were obtained from validation, questionnaire, and observation.At the stage of test model, the data were gathered from the test and analyzed by T test with a confidence interval of 95%.The results show that the teaching material model 4P integrated with reciprocal teaching is effective in increasing learning achievement.This was proved by the average result of post-test is higher for the students who were treated by the model 4P integrated with reciprocal teaching (exprimen class) than those not using that model (control class). Beside that, had positif respons of students on the teaching materials model 4P integrated with reciprocal teacing.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning achievement on social science subject at grade V of SD Wae Rii by applying role playing method. The research was conducted in elementary schools Kecamatan Wae Rii Langke Rembong in the academic year 2019/2020. The method was classroom action research design and McTaggart Kemmis consisting of three phases: planning, action and observation stage, and the stage of reflection. The subjects were 30 students at grade V of SD Wae Rii. Data were collected through observation and tests. The instrument of this study were observation sheets and test questions. The results showed that role playing method improved the students’ learning achievement on social science subject at grade V SD Wae Rii. The increase was evident from that many students achieved a minimum completeness criteria (KKM).  In pretreatment, 8 students achieved KKM (40%); in cycle I 14 students reached the KKM (70%), in cycle II it increased to 17 students who reached the KKM (85%). Based on data analysis, it was concluded that role playing method improved students’ learning achievement on social science subject at grade V of SD Kecamatan Wae Rii Langke Rembong the Academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This study mainly aims to describe and analyze the environmental cares of the 6th class elementary school students in Ruteng. Three attitude components were assessed: cognition, affection, and conation components. A descriptive qualitative research were designed through survey method which involved the 6th grade students as the population from elementary schools in Ruteng. Simple random sampling was employed to determine four elementary schools as samples; those schools were SDK Ruteng 1, SDK Ruteng 3, SDI Wae Ri'i, and SDI Karot. The data were collected through a questionnaire while the data analysis technique was based on Miles and Huberman models which covers reduction, data display, and conclusion / verification. The data were validated in triangulation test, namely: theory triangulation, data triangulation, and expert triangulation. The results of the study showed that the average score of environmental care attitudes of the 6th students’ in Ruteng was 77.81 in a good category. Meanwhile, the average of attitude score components covering the cognition component was 80.3 in the excellent category, affection component was 80.05 in the excellent category, and the conation component was 73.1 in the good category. Based on four elementary school samples, those results were consistently found and the environmental care score on the conation component was lower than the other two components. This indicates that cognitive and affective factors do not necessarily affect on students' conations. Even though the students have awareness (cognition) and feelings (affection) related to the surrounding environmental problems, these are not visible in their daily behavior (conation).

Abstract

PKM ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah rendahnya kreativitas guru-guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Manggarai, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Problem kreativitas ini membuat siswa kurang berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasinya adalah hasil belajar siswa pun tidak memuaskan. PKM ini bertujuan untuk membantu kreativitas guru agar mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran di sini mengedepankan prinsip murah, mudah diperoleh, dan digunakan guru dan siswa. Tim memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru berupa media sederhana, yakni kartu, untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode PkM berupa ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan. Kegiatan diskusi dan ceramah berisi penguatan pemahaman konsep berkaitan dengan pengembangan media kartu, sedangkan pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam menggunakan media kartu. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu memiliki beberapa dampak: (1) partisipasi mitra meningkat, seperti bentuk ekspresi wajah yang riang dan suasana menjadi tidak kaku dan menyenangkan, baik ketika menjawab salah maupun saat menjawab benar; (2) mitra mampu mendesain kartu yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students sometimes not doing the assignments given by the teacher, students not being active in learning activities, students being lazy to take part in teaching and learning activities in class, students not being able to read, there are still students who play and disturb their friends while they are studying. In learning, teachers tend to focus on students who have good abilities, and teachers often ignore students who have less abilities. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the teacher's personality competence and student learning motivation.This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study were all teachers and students at SDI Timung and the research sample was teachers at SDI Timung totaling 11 people and students totaling 50 people. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. This questionnaire was given to 50 students to assess the teacher's personality competence which consisted of 20 statements and student learning motivation was given to the students themselves which consisted of 20 statements. The results of the study obtained rcount = 0.71 while the value of rtable = 0.284. The significance of the relationship between teacher personality competence and student learning motivation is shown by rcount greater than rtable at degrees of freedom (dk) = 48 and alpha 5%, namely rcount 0.71>rtable = 0.284. This shows that there is a positive relationship between teacher personality competence and student learning motivation and a high relationship because the r value is in the coefficient interval 0.60-0.799. The contribution or contribution of the teacher's personality competence variable to student learning motivation is shown in the coefficient of determination. The result of the analysis of the coefficient of determination is 50.41%. This means that the contribution or contribution of the teacher's personality competence variable (X) with student learning motivation (Y) is 50.41% and 49.59% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the teacher's personality competence and student learning motivation. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to be describe learning methods that can develop the social interaction of children with hearing impairment. The method used was library research, where the authors analyzed the theories and research results from scientific journals, theses and dissertations related to this subject. The results showed that learning methods that can develop deaf children's social interactions are; 1) oral method. This method is very suitable to be applied to deaf children at the level of slight losses (20-30 Deci-Bell), mild losses (30-40 dB) and moderate losses (40-60 dB); 2) method of reading speech. This method is good for use at all levels of hearing loss; 3) manual method. This method is useful if it was focused on deaf children at the server level (60-75 dB) and deep losses (75 dB and above); 4) total communication method. This method can be implemented for all levels of hearing loss.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) to determine the implementation of environmental awareness character education in elementary schools; 2) to describe the obstacles faced in the implementation of environmental awareness character education in elementary schools; 3) to describe the tips taken to support the success of environmental awareness character education in elementary schools. This environmental awareness character needs to be formed from an early age, namely, at elementary school age. The writing method used is a literature study which contains theories relevant to the research problem. The data sources in this study were secondary sources that relevant to the research variables. Data collection techniques was carried out by tracing and reviewing various literatures related to research. The data analysis technique used in discussing and analyzing the data is by using descriptive analysis methods and comparative methods. The results showed that the implementation of environmental awareness character education in elementary schools was carried out in three stages, namely: 1) integrated learning planning strengthening environmental care character education. Environmental awareness values ​​are integrated into planning documents such as lesson plans and syllabus. 2) Implementation of integrated learning to strengthen environmental awareness character education. The teacher integrates the values ​​of environmental awareness by utilizing the environment as a learning resource, and arranges classes so that the implementation of environmental awareness characters can run well. 3) Integrated learning assessment of the achievement of environmental awareness character. The character of environmental awareness becomes one of the components of attitude assessment. In addition, the formation of environmental awareness was carried out through positive habits both at home, at school, and in the community. The obstacles in implementing character education in elementary schools are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors are students' low understanding of environmental cleanliness. While external factors, namely, inadequate facilities and the indecision of the rules made by the school. The tips taken to support the success of environmental awareness character education in elementary schools, namely: 1) implementation of an environment-based curriculum in schools; 2) participatory based environmental activities; and 3) management of supporting facilities that are environmentally friendly. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of environmental awareness character education in schools can run well if there is work between the important components in education, namely teachers, students, parents, and the community.
