Abstract

The existence of sophisticated equipment is always needed in the laboratory. Purpose is to support the laboratory and support the laboratory staff to work safely and comfortably. One tools commonly used in laboratory is waterbath. In this study, a microcontroller-based waterbath was designed which was equipped with time module for setting the heating time and buzzer as marker when the heating time was complete. In addition, this tool is also equipped with temperature settings from 400C - 950C. This research is an exploratory descriptive research The results of testing the waterbath tool show that the 5 minute time setting has an error percentage value of 3.5%, 10 minutes is 2.3%, 15 minutes is 0.05%, 20 minutes is 1.01%, 25 minutes is 0.001% and 30 minutes is 0.2%. Then the temperature test of 400C has a percentage error of 0.7%, 500C is 0.9%, 600C is 0.8%, 700C is 0.8%, 800C is 1.8%, 900C is 2.7% and 950C is 2.0%. In addition, this tool also meets the standard according to function with a size of 20x20x30cm which is ideal for operation.

Abstract

A magnetic stirrer is a laboratory tool that is used to stir or mix a solution with another solution so that the solution is heterogeneous. Technology and science have now progressed, so in this study, a microcontroller-based magnetic stirrer was designed. This tool is designed with digital speed and time settings, with digital technology, it is hoped that the data reading error of the speed and time of mixing samples can be minimized, efficient in time, relatively easier to use, and produces a homogeneous solution. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by a microcontroller-based magnetic stirrer in a solution with low viscosity from mixing water and syrup, it requires mixing time for 1 minute with low, medium, and high speeds. For a solution with a higher viscosity using water and special grade syrup, it takes 5 minutes at medium and high speeds. To mix water with salt and water with sugar takes 10 minutes at high speed.

Abstract

Energi alternatif merupakan sumber energi terbarukan, contohnya seperti matahari, angin, air, biomasa dan panas bumi. Energi pasang surut merupakan pemanfaatan energi yang dihasilkan dalam perpindahan massa air akibat pasang surut dengan efek rotasi bumi dan gravitasi bulan. Energi ini banyak terdapat diselat karena pada selat terjadi penyempitan ruang gerak arus sehingga kecepatan arus menjadi lebih cepat. Salah satunya adalah Selat Pulau Serangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui potensi energi listrik dan kerapatan daya di Selat Pulau Serangan. Pengukuran arus laut menggunakan metode Lagrange dan alat Current Meter di delapan titik penelitian, kemudian dengan metode Regresi Sederhana Deret Waktu untuk meramalkan ketinggian air. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa energi yang dihasilkan saat pasang mencapai 248,028046 kilo Joule selama 24 jam, sedangkan saat surut mencapai 251,8062 kilo Joule selama 24 jam. Untuk rapat daya terbesar berada disekitar jembatan berkisar 25,3604 – 47,05809 W/m2, sedangkan rapat daya terkecil berada di sebelah utara jembatan berkisar 0,012069 – 0,121019 W/m2.

Abstract

Abstract. The use of increasingly sophisticated technology for health workers certainly requires proper and regular care. This technology is essential in puskesmas services, such as a circuit on a dental examination board, a sensor on a lighting lamp, a stethoscope, and an ECG. Medical devices that have a good level of reliability will provide good service quality. Apart from being a form of treatment for medical devices at the puskesmas, this service is also training for technicians and health workers for medical device maintenance. This, of course, will increase knowledge and skills in managing, maintaining, and repairing medical devices at puskesmas. This activity will further support puskesmas services, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the actions that have been carried out, it has been able to improve and overcome several problems with several medical devices, such as dental units, ECGs, headlamps, and otoscopes. This activity indirectly provides knowledge and learning in the form of good experiences and adds insight into the operation of medical devices that are used so that they are always active, accurate, and can help health activities at Banjarangkan II Klungkung Health Center. --- Pemanfaatan teknologi tenaga kesehatan yang semakin canggih tentu saja memerlukan adanya perawatan secara baik dan teratur. Teknolgi ini merupakan satu elemen penting dalam pelayanan di puskesmas, seperti rangkaian pada board pemeriksaan gigi, sensor pada lampu pencahayaan, stetoskop, dan juga ECG . Peralatan kesehatan yang memiliki tingkat keandalan yang baik akan memberikan mutu pelayanan yang baik. Pengabdian ini selain sebagai bentuk perawatan alat kesehatan di puskesmas juga merupakan pelatihan perawatan peralatan medis untuk teknisi dan tenaga kesehatan. Hal ini tentu saja akan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola, memelihara dan memperbaiki peralatan kesehatan di puskesmas. Kegiatan ini akan bisa lebih mendukung dalam pelayanan puskesmas terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan telah dapat melakukan perbaikan dan mengatasi beberapa permasalahan pada beberapa alat kesehatan, seperti dental unit, ECG, head lamp, dan otoskop. Kegiatan ini secara tidak langsung memberikan ilmu dan pelajaran berupa pengalaman yang baik, serta menambah wawasan tentang operasional alat medis yang digunakan agar selalu aktif, akurat, dan tentunya dapat membantu kegiatan medis di Puskesmas Banjarangkan II Klungkung.

Abstract

Kepatuhan pasien sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai keberhasilan terapi seperti tuberkulosis. Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit yang banyak menyebabkan kematian di Indonesia dan merupakan penyakit kronis yang keberhasilan pengobatannya adalah kepatuhan pasien untuk selalu minum obat. Untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat, pada penelitian ini dibuat alat kotak obat yang memiliki alarm dan LED. Uji statistik dengan uji t satu sampel digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa alat bekerja secara tepat. Tidak ada perbedaan waktu yang signifikan pada pengaturan waktu pukul 07.00, 13.00, dan 19.00. Alarm berbunyi dan LED berkedip tepat waktu sesuai dengan waktu alat. Sedangkan pada uji Wilcoxon, terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan kotak obat berbasis mikrokontroler.Patient compliance is needed to achieve the success of therapy such as tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a disease that causes many deaths in Indonesia and is a chronic disease whose successful treatment is patient compliance to always take medication. To improve adherence to taking medication, in this study a medicine box device that has an alarm and LED was made. Statistical test with t-test is used to ensure that the tool is working properly. There is no significant time difference in the timings at 07.00, 13.00, and 19.00. The alarm sounds and the LED flashes in time according to the time of the appliance. Meanwhile, in the Wilcoxon test, there was a significant difference before and after the use of a microcontroller-based medicine box.

Abstract

Drop tegangan merupakan peristiwa dimana saat pendistribusian tegangan listrik terjadi penurunan tegangan pada beberapa titik konsumen. besarnya tegangan yang diterima tidak sama dengan tegangan yang dikirim. Salah satu penyebab besarnya drop adalah bertambahnya beban listrik. RS X merupakan salah satu Rumah Sakit yang ada di pulau Bali. Rumah Sakit ini mulai dibangun pada tahun 1956 dan beroperasi sampai saat ini. Sudah dapat dipastikan dengan berkembangnya RS X kebutuhan akan energi listrik juga bertambah. Peralatan-peralatan yang menggunakan energi listrik sudah pasti juga mengalami peningkatan jumlah. Hal ini menyebabkan pada satu ruangan bisa mengalami kelebihan beban dibanding dengan ruangan lain yang menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan beban dan ini merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab dari drop tegangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menghitung drop tegangan yaitu metode aliran daya (Load Flow), dalam metode ini digunakan software ETAP 16.0 untuk mendapatkan Nilai Drop Tegangan. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan perbaikan drop tegangan sesuai standar PLN 1:1978 dengan menambahkan kapasitor bank pada simulasi ETAP 16.0 pada Trafo 3 Powerhouse menjadi 0,9%, Trafo W1 menjadi 1,61%, Trafo1 Gerai1 menjadi 0,98%, Trafo2 Gerai1 menjadi 0,82%, Trafo1 Gerai2 menjadi 0,27%, Trafo2 Gerai2 menjadi 1,52%, Trafo1 Gerai3 menjadi 1,31%, Trafo1 Gerai5 menjadi 1,68%, Trafo2 Gerai5 menjadi 1,04%, Trafo3 Gerai5 menjadi 1,04%, Trafo1 Gerai4 menjadi 1,52%, dan Trafo3 Gerai4 menjadi 1,33%.

Abstract

The use of electrical energy that is often encountered in households is leaving the house with the lights on, leaving electronic goods stuck in the socket, charging cell phones overnight and turning on the air conditioner when no one is around. This unwise behavior will result in a high increase in the use of electrical energy. To reduce this unwise behavior, a device will be made that functions as a switch to cut off electrical energy automatically when we leave the room. This tool uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller with a Passive Infrared Receiver sensor to flow electrical energy when we enter the room and cut off electrical energy when leaving the room. It can be concluded that the use of an automatic switch can reduce electrical energy consumption. Automatic switches with a delay of 20 seconds compared to conventional switches have a significant ratio of electrical energy consumption as indicated by the test results of a multiple ratio of 0.00 with a test level of less than 0.05. Using an automatic switch with a 20 second delay results in savings in electrical energy consumption of 48.76% of the electrical energy consumption using conventional switches.

Abstract

Chemical analysis uses a variety of solvents based on their level of polarity, such as non-polar, semipolar, and polar solvents. The solvent is used in the extraction process, both liquid-liquid extraction and solid-liquid extraction. Common extractions carried out in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy and other health sciences are solid-liquid extraction using samples in the form of simplicia from plants that are dried so that they become simplicia. Simplicia extracted with solvent. Extraction is carried out to concentrate the active compound and separate the solvent, so that it can be reused. Concentration was carried out using a rotary evaporator. A chiller-based rotary evaporator, namely a microcontroller-based chiller, is designed to accelerate temperature reduction, so that the evaporation and condensation process with the condenser is faster. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the chiller that was made was able to reduce the temperature of the water connected to the condenser section of the rotary evaporator and the heat from the waterbath with the duration of decreasing the temperature in the inlet-outlet reservoir between 183±2.88 seconds to 302±2.52 seconds from a water bath temperature of 40-600C.

Abstract

The quality of health services must always be improved for the realization of a good public health degree. One of the things that can be done is to maintain the quality of the available health facilities and equipment. Indicators of quality medical devices include guaranteed accuracy, accuracy and safety in their use. There are several medical devices that are often used, such as ECG, flumeter regulator, digital sphygmomanometer, dry sterilizer, examination lamp and UV lamp, which are important elements that maintain the continuity of public health services. This community service activity aims to maintain and repair medical devices and is a training for technicians and medical personnel. It will also improve skills in managing medical equipment. The method used is observation, lectures on calibration material, inventory and direct practice of repairing medical devices. This activity can be followed by all health workers at the puskesmas with the hope that the responsibility for medical equipment is not only owned by technicians, but becomes the responsibility of other health workers as well. The activity that has been carried out in this service is an inventory of tools to make it easier to check and repair medical devices. The tools that have problems are experimentation lamps and UV lamps. On the examination lamp, the lamp was damaged and it can be reused by replacing the lamp. Meanwhile, the UV lamp damaged the transformer and fittings, after replacing these components the UV lamp can be used again. This activity indirectly provides knowledge and lessons in the form of experience. As well as adding insight into the operation of medical devices at the Tampaksiring II Health Center. Increased knowledge of service participants can be seen from their ability to directly participate in repairing medical devices.

Abstract

Pencampuran antara bahan dengan reagen dalam analisis kimia haruslah sempurna salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan adalah hot plate magnetic stirrer. Pada penelitian ini dibuat hot plate magnetic stirrer berbasis arduino uno dilengkapi dengan kecepataan putar, suhu, dan waktu pengadukan sesuai kebutuhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif, terdiri atas kajian tentang hot plate magnetic stirrer yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan produk atas dasar temuan- temuan tersebut, melakukan uji coba lapangan sesuai dengan latar dimana produk tersebut akan dipakai, serta melakukan revisi terhadap hasil uji lapangan. Hasil pengujian alat dapat menghasilkan larutan yang bersifat homogen. Hot plate magnetic stirrer yang dibuat memiliki kecepatan putaran yang dapat dipilih dari kecepatan 100 rpm hingga 4000 rpm, suhu pemanas hingga 120oC, dan waktu pengadukan tanpa batas dengan sistem hitung mundur dalam waktu detik.
