Abstract

Learning during a pandemic requires every teacher to be able to improve literacy skills in terms of using technology to help the learning process. However, due to the rapid paradigm shift due to the COVID-19 pandemic, from direct learning to online-based learning. Therefore this activity was carried out to improve the ability of Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela teachers in using various learning support applications, especially the Ministry of Religion E-learning. The Ministry of Religion E-learning application is an application recommended by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia for use in the distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic at the madrasa level. The use of applications in the learning process is expected to be able to increase student motivation and enthusiasm for learning during the learning period from home and still pay attention to health protocols. Participants in this activity were attended by all teachers who teach at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam with a total of 36 people. In its implementation, this activity consists of three stages, namely 1. The preparation stage, 2. Implementation stage, and 3. Evaluation stage with each activity an evaluation process is carried out to ensure that the initial objectives of this activity can be achieved. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that this mentoring activity is needed by teachers in understanding the use of the Ministry of Religion E-learning application with various supporting features and its implementation. Also, after carrying out this activity, teachers began to get used to the use of the Ministry of Religion's E-learning application in carrying out the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to provide an overview of the role of parents when assisting children in using various technologies during the learning process from home. This is because without any limitations in technology it can have a good or bad impact on children if it is not used according to the required context. Therefore, the subject of the study to be discussed is more focused on the learning of children aged 7-15 years, who in the learning process still really need assistance from their parents. Writing this article is done through a process of literature review of various literature starting from the process of determining the topic of the problem, determining the type of data      collection method, collecting various data that support the topic, conducting the data analysis process, and drawing conclusions based on the data that has been obtained. Based on the data that has been obtained, the role of parents in assisting children to use technology while learning from home is very important, especially in maintaining and increasing children's motivation to continue learning.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain the application of online based learning using the Zoom Cloud Mettng application during the COVID-19 pandemic. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method of literature review by collecting data in the form of secondary data obtained from various sources such as articles, notes, or other scientific sources. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the literature review, data analysis, and discussion, it can be concluded that the Zoom Cloud Metting application is an effective medium used in the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic because it is able to facilitate educators and learning to be able to interact while continuing to prioritize health protocols during the pandemic COVID-19, namely Physical Distancing or maintaining distance.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2237

Abstract

Belajar merupakan suatu hal yang  fundamental dan akan terus dialami oleh setiap orang baik secara formal maupun informal yang pada hakikatnya adalah terjadinya suatu “Perubahan” dalam diri seseorang setelah melakukan aktivitas. Belajar bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang akan diterapkan seseorang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Minat belajar merupakan salah satu faktor terpenting penunjang keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Salah satu alternatif yan dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan pembelajaran berbasis berugak pintar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak di Desa Dasan Lekong. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui  tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang bertempat di Desa Dasan Lekong Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis berugak pintar menjadi salah satu program jangka panjang yang memiliki beberapa kelebihan antara lain 1). Pembelajaran bersifat outdoor/di luar ruangan, 2). Pembelajaran bersifat fleksibel, 3). Mudah menarik perhatian karena berada di tengah-tengah masyarakat, 4). Menciptakan kondisi belajar kooperatif antara anak-anak, dan 5). Mudah dijangkau anak-anak. Sedangkan kekurangan dari pembelajaran berbasis berugak pintar ini terletak pada luas tempat anak-anak belajar karena antusias anak untuk belajar sangat tinggi. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Berugak Pintar, Minat Belajar, Desa Dasan Lekong.

Abstract

Research has been carried out which aims to determine the implementation of introducing the madrasa environment to prospective new students through the activities of the Ta’aruf Period of Madrasah Students. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of observation. This research was conducted on all prospective new students of MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela for the academic year 2021/2022, with a total of 45 people. The implementation of the research went through two stages, namely the delivery of material and the introduction of the madrasa environment. Based on the results of observations and discussions, it can be seen that the activities of the Madrasah Student Ta’aruf Period are essential for prospective new students to get to know more about the conditions, characteristics, and environment of the madrasa. In addition, this activity instills various character values of madrasah children through various activities that are integrated with religious contexts to meet the goals set previously

Abstract

Abstract:  Writing this article aims to describe the process of making and using a simple ticker timer in physics practicum activities related to straight motion material. The ticker timer tool is included in one of the tools used in learning to make it easier for students to understand the straight motion material. The ticker timer tool developed is a modification of the ticket timer set using simple and easy-to-obtain materials. The process of making a ticket timer consists of three stages, namely 1). The preparation stage is in the form of tools, materials, and design of the tool model to be developed, 2). The manufacturing stage, and 3). The stage of use applied to measure the phenomenon of regular straight motion and regular change of straight motion. Based on the data obtained at the time of using the tool, it is known that the tool can work and be used to measure the time and speed of an object that is observed under certain conditions so that it can be used as a reference to the teacher in supporting the learning process in the classroom.Abstrak: Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan dan penggunaan alat ticker timer sederhana dalam kegiatan praktikum fisika yang berkaitan dengan materi gerak lurus. Ticker timer termasuk dalam salah satu alat yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi gerak lurus. Alat ticker timer yang dikembangkan merupakan modifikasi dari ticker timer menggunakan bahan yang sederhana dan mudah didapatkan. Proses pembuatan ticker timer terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu 1). Tahap persiapan berupa alat, bahan, dan desain model alat yang akan dikembangkan, 2). Tahap pembuatan, dan 3). Tahap penggunaan yang diterapkan untuk mengukur fenomena gerak lurus beraturan dan gerak lurus berubah beraturan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada saat menggunakan alat diketahui bahwa alat dapat bekerja dan digunakan untuk mengukur waktu dan kecepatan suatu benda yang diamati pada kondisi tertentu sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan kepada guru dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian sintesis lapisan tipis TiO2 dengan doping campuran Fluorin dan Indium. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan lapisan tipis yang baik digunakan sebagai salah satu komponen pada sel surya yaitu lapisan absorben. Sintesis lapisan tipis menggunakan metode spin-coating dengan bantuan alat centrifuge yang dimodifikasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Dasar dan Kimia Organik, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Mataram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen murni dengan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Proses sintesis lapisan tipis terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu 1). Persiapan substrat, 2). Pembuatan larutan sol-gel, 3). Deposisi lapisan tipis, dan 4). Pemanasan sampel lapisan tipis. Sampel lapisan tipis diberikan tiga perlakuan berbeda yang terdiri dari 1). Konsentrasi larutan, 2). Jumlah lapisan, dan 3). Variasi suhu pemanasan sampel. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan didapatkan bahwa semakin besar konsentrasi doping yang digunakan maka semakin gelap permukaan sampel lapisan tipis yang dihasilkan. Kata kunci: sintesis lapisan tipis; TiO2:(F+In); metode spin-coating; sel surya. ABSTRACTResearch on the synthesis of TiO2 thin films with doping mixture of Fluorine and Indium has been carried out. The aim of this research is to produce a thin film which is suitable for use as a component of solar cells, namely the absorbent layer. Synthesis of thin films using the spin-coating method with the help of a modified centrifuge. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Basic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Mataram University. This type of research is pure experimental research with data analyzed descriptively. The thin layer synthesis process consists of several stages, namely 1). Substrate preparation, 2). Preparation of sol-gel solution, 3). Thin layer deposition, and 4). Heating the thin layer sample. The thin layer sample was given three different treatments consisting of 1). The concentration of the solution, 2). Number of layers, and 3). Variation in sample heating temperature. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that the greater the doping concentration used, the darker the surface of the resulting thin layer sample. Keywords: synthesis thin film; TiO2:(F+In); spin-coating method; solar cells

Abstract

This study aims to determine level of critical thinking ability when learning process kinetic theory of gas with conceptual change model outcome review from high school student learning style. This type of research is pre experiment with factorial design  (level 3). The research population is all grade XI IPA in SMA Negeri 7 Mataram with sampling technique using purposive sampling. Three samples were taken as experimental class which is class XI MIPA 1 taught with CCM visual style, XI IPA 2 taught by CCM auditory style, and XI IPA 3 taught with CCM kinesthetic style. The student learning style data on was taken using by questionnaire with 4 alternative options. The critical thinking ability’s data collected by using sheets of critical thinking skill based on student's answer to LKS. The result data was analyzed with descriptive statistical test and classified based on categorization level of critical thinking ability. Based on the analysis result, it can be concluded level of critical thinking ability when learning process kinetic theory of gas with conceptual change model outcome review from high school student learning style including into medium category with value of 70,87.

Abstract

Dynamic human development in the 21st Century demands students to make innovations in the world of education. Students are required to have 21st-century skills, namely creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. In contrast, teachers are required to have skills that must be mastered. The six capabilities are mastery of knowledge/content, mastery of 21st-century pedagogy, the ability of expertise in the development and achievement of students and give support, mastery of learning psychology skills; having counseling skills; and competence in using information technology and media. This article aims to discuss issues related to how to improve the ability of teachers and students to master 21st-century skills? Also, what extent is the role of digital literacy and STEM integration in improving 21st-century skills? This article using literature literacy methods sourced from international and national journals, books, and other relevant sources. Based on the study, it concluded that digital competence is not an absolute determinant of the development of 21st-century skills in students. Digital ability is a supporting factor for mastering 21st-century skills that should have been introduced and taught through schools. STEM learning with multidisciplinary mastery of science needs to be optimized in schools in Indonesia so that the expected learning objectives are in line with the demands of the 21st-century.

Abstract

This study investigates the implemented distance learning system from home as the Indonesian government's policy slogans during the COVID-19 pandemic. The use of various distance learning system platforms currently available adjusted to the learning process's needs to carry out provides a solution to break the chain of spreading COVID-19 in Indonesia. The research using a literature review that consists of four stages, namely (1) Identification of research topic keywords, (2) identification of abstracts from various literature sources, (3) making notes of identification results, and (4) link notes periodically. Based on the results and discussion, distance learning is an effective solution to continuing the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it does not allow direct learning in the classroom. However, to increase distance learning success, various considerations are needed, such as infrastructure, teacher and student readiness, and expected learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers as an essential factor in the achievement of the learning process, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, must be able to create and provide usefully and not dull learning conditions, one of which is by trying to use various learning models platforms such as Zoom Cloud Meeting, Google Forms, Jitsi Meet App, Whatsapp Groups and more.
