Abstract

Pelatihan dilakukan Karang Taruna desa Nangkek Gili timur yang sebagian besar merupakan mahasiswa berbagai jurusan di berbagai Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia dimana mereka banyak mengalami masalah dalam menerjemahkan suatu bentuk tek tertulis dan percakapan dalam bahasa Inggris, hal ini dapat diketahui disaat mereka menerjemahkan suatu tek buku dan berbicara bahasa Inggris. Penulis menawarkan program pelatihan penerjemahan Bahasa Inggris secara tulis/ translation dan secara lisan/ interpretation dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran bahasa Inggris dengan materi yang dipakai meliputi hand-out, lembar kerja/ worksheet, dan bahan tayang baik dalam bentuk slide power point maupun video. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan anggota Karang Taruna dapat: 1. Mengikuti kegiatan yang berlangsung secara efektif dan baik dari awal hingga akhir, 2. Meningkatan pemahaman penerjemahan tek tertulis dalam bahasa Inggris yang baik, 3. Menerjemahkan bahasa Inggris melalui lisan (dalam bentuk audio dan video) dengan baik. Dari pelatihan penerjemahan suatu tek tertulis dan percakapan bahasa Inggris yang dilakukan selama sembilan hari oleh anggota Karang Taruna dapat berjalan dengan baik dan hasilnya para anggota Karang Taruna desa Nangkek bisa menerjemahkan suatu tek tertulis dan berdialog dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Reading is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols for the purpose of deriving meaning (reading comprehension) and constructing meaning. It means that learning reading is significant because it has an aim to understand the meaning of what is read. The researcher should make students interested in the material given because the first semester students of English Department of STKIP PGRI Bangkalan have problem to understand the contents of what is read. Based on the observation, the use of picture series was able to increase students’ skill of reading narrative text. And students could comprehend the narrative text easily. Besides that, it will contribute in making teaching learning of reading more relax, enjoyable, the good response and can avoid from boredom. Third, other researcher, It is suggested to give useful to the next researcher in develop their study especially the using of picture series in teaching reading.

Abstract

Adanya covid-19 tahun lalu, banyaknya faktor mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran secara online, salah satu kurangnya keaktifan belajar mahasiswa dalam menerima materi pelajaran yang berdampak kepada kemampuan dan pemahaman khususnya mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Disaat pandemik selesai, mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan berbahasa Inggris dikarenakan kurang latihan berkomunikasi. Ketua Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris menyarankan agar mahasiswa ikut dalam ektra kurikuler English Club yang ada kampus. Dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan mahasiswa tentang pemahaman bahasa Inggris relative kurang akibat pandemic-19, kami sebagai pengusul PKM membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan mengadakan pelatihan mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris yang dilakukan pada saat program ekstrakurikuler English Club berlangsung. Di English Club mahasiswa mendapatkan pembelajaran, pemahaman dalam berbahasa Inggris, pengembangan kosa kata dan berkomunikasi secara benar. Hasil di capai selama pelatihan kegiatan tersebut yaitu: 1) peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris 2) dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran di kelas di saat kuliah 3) dapat mengembangkan model pembelajaran pada diri mahasiswa sendiri. Pembelajaran English Club diharapkan membantu mahasiswa menerima materi di kelas di saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Keberhasilan program PKM, pihak ketua Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Bangkalan merekomendasikan, pelaksanaan pendampingan secara intensif, penerapan pengetahuan secara mandiri, keikhlasan, kesabaran dalam penyampaian materi ke mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan ekstrakulikuler tersebut.

Abstract

Microsoft office powerpoint provides slide facilities to accommodate talking points that will be conveyed to students. With animation facilities, each slide can be modified very attractively. Likewise with the facilities: front picture, sound, and visual effects that can be used to make good and attractive slides so as to accommodate the learning modalities of students. This program can accommodate students who have audio, visual and kinesthetic types. Canva is an online design program that provides a variety of tools such as presentations, resumes, posters, pamphlets, brochures, graphics, infographics, banners, bookmarks, bulletins, and so on that are provided in the Canva application. The purpose of this service is a workshop on making interactive ppt using the Canva application. This workshop was conducted for UPTD SDN Pangeranan 1 Bangkalan educators. Community service activities are carried out through several stages of activities, including: Preparation and Briefing, Implementation, and Program Sustainability Planning. After the workshop, educators are able to create interactive PPT using the Canva application that is interesting and fun for students.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations, it can be seen that there are some students whose grades do not reach the KKM score. This happens because the method used by the teacher in learning is only the lecture method. Teachers who are creative in the learning process should immediately provide learning materials using tools in the form of learning media so that the scores of students who are below the KKM will decrease. The purpose of this writing is to determine the effect of KIT IPA learning media on motivation and student learning outcomes in learning. The writing method uses quantitative with the experimental method, namely trying to practice directly related to the material being taught by the teacher. The results that the writer got during the observation process were that there was an increase in the scores obtained by students after the teacher implemented the learning process using media aids. The next suggestion is that teachers can use learning media in schools to help the process of delivering material to students so that students can easily understand the material and are more enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence between motivation and student learning outcomes in using the long unit smart ladder learning media in class III mathematics subjects at SDN Bueneh 1 Bangkalan. The problems that exist in schools can be seen that in the mathematics subject, class III long unit material still uses the lecture method so that students feel bored and find it difficult to understand the material presented by the teacher. The method used in this research is the pretest and posttest experimental method. In this research, the sample used was a saturated sample, namely all 22 students. The place where this research was conducted was at SDN Burneh 1 Bangkalan. In this technique, data collection uses data in the form of observations, tests and documentation. The instrument in this research is to use a test in the form of multiple choice questions to determine student learning outcomes and observation sheets to determine student activity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teacher educational interactions on interest and learning outcomes in mathematics for students in class IV A at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan. Based on the output obtained sig 0.000 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that it shows that there is an influence between research subjects using teacher educational interactions on interest and learning outcomes in mathematics. This is proven by the results of students' test questions regarding multiplication of whole numbers which were obtained based on the output that has been tested. The data description shows that there is an average mean at pre of 21.75 while the post data is 34.75. Meanwhile, for independence, based on the output that has been tested, the data description shows that there is an average mean in the pretest of 51.50, while the posttest data is 92.50. So there is an influence of teacher educational interaction on the interest and learning outcomes in mathematics for Class IV A students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the learning environment and interest on learning achievement. This research was conducted at UPTD SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan.This research method uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was 28 people with a sample of 28 people. The data analysis used in this research was using SPSS 25. The results of this research show that (1) partially the learning environment variables have a significant effect on the learning achievement variables of class IV UPTD students at SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan. As shown the results of the t test calculation are tcount of -4.363 and a significant value of 0.000 at a significance level of 0.05. (2) Partially, learning environment variables have a significant effect on learning achievement variables for class IV UPTD students at SDNPejagan 1Bangkalan. As shown, the results of the t test calculation are tcount of 5.521 and a significant value of 0.000 at a significance level of 0.05. (3) Together the independent variables have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. This is shown by the calculation results of Fcount 17.752 > 3.39 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The low science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students and the lack of use of learning media were noted. This study aims to determine the effect of using game cards on science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SDN Burneh 1. This research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 10 fourth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection instruments included multiple-choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, and t-tests to assess the significant differences in students' learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of game cards significantly improved students' science learning outcomes. The average pretest score was 2.62, while the average posttest score was 9.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of game card media has a positive effect on science learning for students. Keywords: Effect, Game Cards, Learning Outcomes ABSTRAK Rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa di kelas IV dan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan kartu game terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN Burneh 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest desain. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 10 siswa kela IVB kelas yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reabilitas, dan uji-t untuk melihat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kartu game secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Rata-rata nilai posttest dan posttest dimana pada hasil pretest hasil belajar siswa yaitu 2,62 dan posttest hasil belajar siswa yaitu 9,05. Berdasarkan temuan ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu game memiliki pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran IPA pada siswa. Kata Kunci: Kartu Game, Media Pembelajaran, Hasil belajar
