Abstract

Abstract

The facial electromyograph (FEMG) signal is a signal that occurs in the muscles of the contracted human face. This FEMG signal is one of the techniques used to study human speech recognition. It can be acquired by placing an electrode surface on the skin around the facial articulation muscle. Three types of muscles in this study are the masseter, risorius and depressor muscle. This study aims to extract and analyze the features in the FEMG signal. The extraction method is the discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The type of wavelet transform is Daubechies2 with level 5. After extraction and analysis of FEMG signals, the FEMG signal pattern for each spoken word indicated by differences in the approximation and detail coefficient of the FEMG signal. In addition, the level of difference in the FEMG signal pattern is also indicated by the histogram of the approximation coefficient of the FEMG signal. Thus, the discrete wavelet transform method can be used as one of the methods for extracting the FEMG signal feature in a human facial electromyograph (FEMG) signal.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a hot topic discussed only among academics and industry. Of course, this condition is a positive thing that shows that people have started to care about utilizing technology that is developing very rapidly today. South Aceh Polytechnic (POLTAS) as a vocational higher education institution, of course, must be consistent in making innovations in improving services to stakeholders. The quality and quality of service to stakeholders must of course be maintained so that input, criticism, and suggestions from them are one of the most important factors in creating a safe and comfortable academic atmosphere for higher education, especially POLTAS. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to build and simulate the results of an information system that can adapt dynamically in carrying out the political services of South Aceh provided to stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to build a Complaints Information System for the Polytechnic of South Aceh (SIAPA). This research is also part of the POLTAS Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) which is managed independently assigns to control and improve quality in the implementation of higher education in a planned manner (with designed) and sustainable (sustainable). This type of research is applied research with case studies at the South Aceh Polytechnic. The research procedure is in several stages, namely planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, simulation of results, and evaluation.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of the application of E-Integrated Marketing Communication (E-IMC) applied to new universities. This qualitative research refers to the theoretical reference written by John W. Creswell. The sample was determined using the snowball sampling technique and the data collection technique was carried out by in-depth interviews (in-depth interview) and documentation. This study aims to describe the impact of the application of integrated marketing communications applied by polytechnic universities. The findings indicate that user experience affects the E-IMC typology used. E-IMC affects brand equity in higher education. Further research can avail a research model and test the model with quantitative studies with the addition of demographic factors. Because the object of this research is a new polytechnic type of university, the different types of tertiary institutions can also be an additional variable to be studied further.

Abstract

Nowadays, information is an essential element in life because every human activity and business needs it. One of the essential forms of information is geographic information that is used in the field of education. Geographic information is defined as a collection of data and facts about the phenomena of the earth, land, and its inhabitants in space and time. The geographical location of the South Aceh Polytechnic student's homeland is an essential data. If this information is managed properly, the leadership can find out the distribution of data from the students' homeland. The author designs and builds a Geographic Information System to manage student data from the South Aceh Polytechnic to find out the distribution of the homeland of the South Aceh Polytechnic students. This information system is designed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 3 Framework, MySQL, and the LeafletJS JavaScript Library. Testing the system using the Blackbox method. The results indicate that the system can run well by displaying markers of students' homeland on the map so that this information system can be utilized to determine the distribution of students' homeland effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Pasie Lembang village is located in South Kluet District, which has excellent natural potential and community. In this village there are tourist attractions that are very important to be developed, including the Pasie Lembang beach tourist attraction where there is turtle breeding around it, but the problem that often occurs in tourism management is the absence of the right concept in its development so that it causes it not to develop properly the tourist attractions in the village. The problem at this time is the absence of proper tourism planning in the management of tourist attractions in Pasie Lembang Village. The methodology used in this study is the SWOT analysis method. The results of his research are that the concept of tourism planning in Pasie Lembang Village uses the concept of ecotourism. This concept focuses on aspects of nature conservation, aspects of social and economic empowerment of local communities, as well as aspects of learning and education. In developing this concept, a SWOT analysis has been carried out which resulted in 7 (seven) strategies – the strategies obtained are applied in tourism development planning in Pasie Lembang Village. The conclusions of this study are: 1) Pasie Lembang Village is located in South Kluet District, which is in accordance with the mandate of the RTRW of South Aceh Regency that the Pasie Lembang area is in a natural and artificial tourism allotment area. 2) Pasie Lembang Village is very suitable for tourism development with the concept of ecotourism which focuses on nature conservation.
