Abstract

Students as agents of change in dealing with social problems before finally joining the community. One of them is having good financial behavior in managing personal finances. The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of financial technology on financial behavior with financial literacy as an intervening variable. This research is an explanatory research. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Abdurachman Saleh University, Situbondo. The sampling technique used is proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that financial technology has a significant effect on financial literacy, financial technology has a significant effect on financial behavior, financial literacy has a significant effect on financial behavior. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that financial technology on financial behavior through financial literacy has a significant positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Earnings Per Share (EPS), Dividend Per Share (DPS), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on stock prices in energy sub-sector companies listed on the IDX during the 2019-2023 period, with firm value as a moderating variable. The research sample includes 7 energy sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over a five-year period, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing are conducted using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0.8 application show that Earnings Per Share (EPS) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, Dividend Per Share (DPS) has a negative but not significant effect on stock prices, and Net Profit Margin (NPM) has a positive but not significant effect on stock prices. Additionally, firm value positively and significantly moderates the influence of Earnings Per Share (EPS) on stock prices.

Abstract

Corporate social responsibility is one of the key attributes that determine reputation and is believed to increase a good reputation for the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure on firm value through profitability. This research is causality research. The population in this study are conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2020 period. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, indicate that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosures have a significant positive effect on profitability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosures have a positive but not significant effect on firm value, profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that the variable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure on firm value through profitability has a significant positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital intensity and leverage on company value through financial performance as an intervening variable in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 periods. This study used a sample of 11 food and beverage companies with a three-year period from 2019-2021 which were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Collection techniques are obtained through the official IDX website: www.idx.co.id. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Smart PLS 3.0 Equation Method (Partial Least Square). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application indicate that capital intensity has a significant effect on financial performance. Leverage has a significant effect on financial performance. Capital intensity has a significant effect on company value. Leverage has a significant effect on company value. Financial performance has a significant effect on company value. Capital intensity has a significant effect on company value through financial performance. Leverage has a significant effect on company value through financial performance.

Abstract

Company value is a crucial factor that companies must pay attention to in order to gain investor confidence. Company value is often associated with stock price as a benchmark for a company's success. If a company's value is high, its stock price is also likely to be high. This study aims to examine the impact of Leverage, Firm Size, and Capital Structure on Company Value through Tax Avoidance. The sampling technique used in this research is Purposive Sampling. The population in this study consists of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the analysis hypothesis using the Smart Partial least square PLS 3.0 show that Leverage has a significant positive effect on Tax Avoidance, Firm Size has not significant effect on Tax Avoidance, and Capital Structure has not significant effect on Tax Avoidance. Leverage has not significant effect on Company Value, Firm Size has significant effect on Company Value, and Capital Structure has not significant effect on Company Value. Tax Avoidance has not significant effect on Company Value. The indirect effect hypotheses indicate that Leverage on Company Value through Tax Avoidance is not significant, Firm Size on Company Value through Tax Avoidance is not significant, and Capital Structure on Company Value through Tax Avoidance is not significant.

Abstract

Transportation companies are one of the sectors related to the development and economic development of countries in the world. Transportation companies are among the most important companies as the largest contributor to national development, resulting in the country's economy experiencing an increase along with the rise of increasingly sophisticated technology. The number of activities in the transportation services sector also has an impact that results in stock fluctuations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Stock Trading Volume on Stock Returns with Stock Price as an intervening variable in transportation facilities listed on the IDX in 2017-2020. The population of this study is all transportation companies registered on the IDX in 2017-2020 as many as 47 companies. Sampling technique is determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis test using Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that Stock Trading Volume has a significant negative effect on Stock Price, Stock Trading Volume has a negative but not significant effect on Stock Return, Stock Price has a positive but not significant effect on Stock Return and Stock Trading Volume on Stock Return through Stock Price has a negative but not significant effect.

Abstract

An insurance company is a crucial entity because it provides protection services to the general public. In this context, the insurance company acts as a service provider, while the public serves both as a resource supplier for the company and as its consumers. This research aims to examine how insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange adjust their strategies in response to market and economic changes and the impact of these adjustments on the company's value, with stock price serving as an intermediary variable. The results of the study show that working capital does not have a significant impact on stock price and company value. Liquidity has a significant effect on stock price but does not impact company value. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on company value but does not significantly influence stock price or company value through stock price. Stock price has a positive and significant effect on company value. In conclusion, profitability and stock price are important factors in determining company value, while working capital and liquidity do not have significant effects.

Economic growth is a measure of a country's progress can be measured by the production sector. Abstract

The development of the economy in Indonesia is currently very fast and growing. However, this weekend the Covid 19 pandemic had a negative impact on companies such as capital structure and company size which could affect stock prices. This study aims to determine the size of the company on stock prices through capital structure as an intervening variable. The population in this study were all Islamic banking companies. The sample of this research used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) model. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 shows that firm size has a significant positive effect on capital structure. Firm size has stock prices. Capital structure has a significant positive effect on stock prices. The results of the direct influence hypothesis show that firm size has a positive and significant effect on stock prices through capital structure.

Abstract

The ability to manage financial decisions for future plans is very important for a prosperous life. The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of Financial Literacy on Investment Decisions Through Financial Efficacy on Students. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Unars, the sampling technique was determined by Probability Sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation - Partial Lest Square (PLS-SEM) model. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that financial literacy has a significant effect on financial efficacy, financial literacy has a significant effect on investment decisions, financial efficacy has a significant effect on investment decisions. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that the financial literacy has a significant positive effect variable on investment decisions through financial efficacy.
